This depends how serious is someone in gambling. Like me who doesn't gamble often, I still don't fully understand those terms. I only know about that martingale because I tried that strategy once when I gambled.

I also don't think that casual gamblers know much about those terms, as long as their gambling experience has no issue then they won't bother to know how those terms work completely.

I could remember when I started gambling, it was very hard for me to understand many gambling terms because I was not used to them. I had to meet friends especially those that are very good in football sport to take me along when ever they are going to place bets at sportbet shops. Most time I had to stop what I'm doing to follow them so I can learn very well. Gambling is not easy especially when you are just a newbie in it. It takes good friends that are good I'm gambling for one to learn and understand gambling very quickly.

talking about this subject, I took and still take a lot of time for every single day to be learning about things like Asian handicap, over and under goals, and what gives me the most headaches and the corners and cards market that I even had to download one image with the values that I can consult when placing bets. These are definitely things that take time. if this was already a headache for me then I had to learn more terms that I'm still learning. It's not easy and it takes time to master it. at least for my case it will still take a long time to master all these terms

I've been playing gambling since I was in college but for all this jargon, I've only known it for the past few years (that's because I play in a crypto casino). for gambling players who have never played online (only focus on offline) I'm sure jargon like the one above they will never know.

The jargons for online gambling and off line gambling are surely the good point you have mentioned.Now with the passage of time as the online gambling and crypto is getting more hype. There are new jargons emerging. But the real gamblor - those who played in real casinos would be the real champs who would tell what it feels like to learn jargon and how soon they have learnt it.

There are still terms that I'm confused about and still trying to learn more. I'm still in the process of discovering things about gambling so there are still things that I have to learn. Some might have a short time learning the jargon but for others, it takes a long time and I think that depends on how often we gamble. There are gambling terms that need research before we fully understand and that's a part of the process.

In my understanding the word 'Jargon' is not appropriate in gambling, Jargon tends to be used more often in those that are technical in nature or more familiar with fields, professions and secret words such as military passwords etc.

The word 'term' may be appropriate in gambling, because the term contains meanings, such as: circumstances, processes, technology and science about gambling or the concept of betting.

From your two questions, of course gambling has risks, as long as you know the risks of making bets, it doesn't take long to learn the term gambling, you need to look at their reviews only and study carefully, be it legal or license they operate at once as I said above, the explanation of the Terms, reviews at least have a chance for you to learn gambling terms 70% before registering and betting.

I agree with you Hahay, it depends on how much someone is interested in gambling and all gambling-related stuff! I also think that just a few gambling terms are really important, other terms just simplify communication among gambling lovers... so instead to say the mathematical advantage that the gambling game has over you as you play over time we can simply say house edge!

I know all the gambling terms/jargon in my language! But even after years of playing only online, I am familiar just with some gambling terms that I find important!

There were gambling terms that I knew beforehand. There were also terms which I learned to know while learning the game itself. But there are also terms which I learned later on. Some terms I just learned alongside gambling itself are house edge, bet, odds, etc. Other terms like Martingale I took time to research. But it doesn't mean I never used that strategy before. Other terms like provably fair and seed I only learned when I started gambling with crypto. If I can remember it right, I learned them only when I came here in this forum.

As you said so, gamblers who played on traditional casino doesn't need to know and understand those jargon since they don't care about it. I think they're know few jargon like wager and provably fair, since wager is really common and provably fair is used to know the legitimate of slots. If they're playing a sports then they will know what is odds, different game have different jargon.

There's already internet and it's easy for them to search it out.

These jargons are normal to know if you've been a gambling for a long time but it's not that as important if you're the casual type. And if they encounter those words that they don't understand.

They have a lot of places to ask and search for it so, someone has to go through and encounter those words first and we don't know how long it will take for them to know it.

Learning process will really vary on each person but understanding different aspects and terms won't really be taking too long or you could really understand it directly without needing that long time for you to evaluate.Its not really that hard to learnt up things which even using up your common sense is enough but for technicalities then it might really be easy or hard for others to understand but it

I think majority of us here didn't really understand some of the terms and jargons when we started our gambling journey. All we have to learn is to simply put our bets whether sports betting or slots or even card games. And down the time, when we slowly learn the basic, then we gain experience and absorb everything, then that is the time we realized that there is some jargons that we need to master in order to have a good gambling experience. So probably it will take months or even years for average average to learn all this phrases.
