Purpose of the investing is multiplying your capital. Stable coins are really less dangerous, but they won`t give you profit. I think buying stable coins is a good idea only when you are taking profit from your investments and you need to count it or buy another assets

I am a newbie on this forum and I have read my posts that people complaining how they lost their fund as a result of investing on Volatile coin like BTC. Is it now advisable for newbie like me to invest on less Volatile coin like Tether or Gemini USD.
If you want to invest with less volatile coins such as tether(USDT) or Gemini USD then it is simply a less risky token but at the same time less rewarding tokens, but if you really want to gain more profits they try to take a risk knowing that there are several cryptos that are high risk but also high rewarding tokens.

I am a newbie on this forum and I have read my posts that people complaining how they lost their fund as a result of investing on Volatile coin like BTC. Is it now advisable for newbie like me to invest on less Volatile coin like Tether or Gemini USD.
Welcome to the fourum. Every crypto currency that you can make good profit from are always volatile in nature an example is BTC but what you need to having quality knowledge about crypto investment, stop lost and choosing the right coin because Tether and  Gemini USD are stable coins.
The whole cryptocurrency is much more volatile than other stock markets. We needed only some stablecoin where we could freeze our money. I think OP is searching for some low volatile coin where his money will not vanished. I will suggest to OP that research in the top 30 coinmarketcap which coin pump is very low than other altcoins.

Those coins you've mentioned are safe, but they won't give you any profit whatsoever (unless you know a good coin that has profitable exchange rate, but thats not a newbie knowledge at all).
So you got to do own research on coins you think could be valuable
It is difficult to know whether a coin is good or not even though at the beginning you have said that it is safe but you cannot guarantee that it is completely safe because one day when a disaster occurs such as the developer dies or exits it will make the coin collapse quickly. because some time ago in altcoin there was a case like that the developer died immediately collapsed.

A person who complains about his investment in bitcoin means that he doesn't understand the crypto market yet. the bigger the volatile, the greater the risk of winning or losing that you have chosen.
You can't blame them dude. Not all newbie investors can't grasp the technicalities of bitcoin or at least able to accept the haed truth about its high volatility that's why some of subconsciously think that stablecoins are better form of investment. Well, if you based on logic, it actually makes sense somehow. More stable, the less risks of losing. But this is all wrong of course Grin.

For me, stablecoins are just assets which can serve as our safe haven when we are trading.

hCaptcha? Looks like I've met the project somewhere, but cannot remember for sure. What exactly attracts you in their approach on the industry? Or where can I check out more on what the guys are coming with?

hCaptcha is designed to solve the most labor intensive problem in machine learning: labeling massive amounts of data in a timely, affordable, and reliable way. More data generally produces better results in training machine learning models. The recent success of deep models has led to increasingly large datasets, almost always with some human review. However, creating large human-reviewed datasets via Mechanical Turk, Figure Eight, etc. is both slow and expensive. hCaptcha allows websites to make money serving this demand while blocking bots and other forms of abuse. Having similar views. Another aspect that makes sense - how team delivers experience. So I always conduct own analysis, evaluating many factors etc. So just wonder whether you are just following any project with innovations.

Hmm, there are many criteria I pay attention to as well. And as for solutions I follow - there are only 2 or 3. If you are interested, my latest discovery is hCaptcha. What I am excited by - entirely new approach on industry. Heard of the solution already? A popular and widely discussed one

Talking about the crypto path, focus is going to change. What do I mean? Investors are now tired of similar and simple solutions. So as I understand, the switch will happen towards more technological and valuable solutions

You have a lot to learn, I suggest you should spend time learning about the difference between altcoins and stablecoin, for example Tether ( USDT ) and Gemini USD are both stable coins, investing on them won't earn you a dime, you buy 1$ worth of stable coin you will get 1$ forever, you aren't qualified for earning yet, spend time on learning first.

Lost or made a loss?
If you mean by lost, then it's either they got their wallets hacked and lost all their BTCs. If you're responsible to your wallet as well as your private key, you don't need to worry.
If you really mean by losses, then you shouldn't worry for coins like BTC if it is even volatile. It's been like that since, and people are still holding and believing on it. The volatility isn't so bad when you finally get used to it.

In the cryptocurrency world, the price of a coin can change so quickly. Dramatic changes like increases or losses of the value of coins should be considered in the bitcoin exchange since it is a very volatile market. If you cannot take this risk, I think the cryptocurrency world is not the right place for you. It was said above that bitcoin prices are stable but I strongly disagree with this. You can better understand what I mean if you take a look at this year’s bitcoin chart.

Some times the local currency of a country is so volatile that people would rather shield their money even against that , countries like Venezuela, Iran , Cuba , have difficulties with keeping the value of their money and I think Stable coins are the best ideas for them .
Yes, but only a few countries are like that, not included in all countries, but for stable coins I think it is very suitable for use by anyone and in any country, especially if the aim is to protect the value of assets or currency.

I don't really understand why invest in stablecoins?
Stablecoins are bought to trade on cryptocurrencies, but now many exchanges allow trading in fiat / cryptocurrency pairs.

But what you are going to make from investing on a stable coin? It is neither going to increase or decrease which means it is not really an investment though.Bitcoin is highly volatile but its highly profitable unlike other shit coins so don't waste your time and money when you are a newbie it will result into a hate against crypto investments for the rest of your life once you picked the right coin.
there is no benefit at all it is the same as storing your money in a place where other people cannot redeem it and it's only you can have that if you secured it in your wallet. But If you are looking for investment that's not a good choice it's better to deposit it in a bank at least you will interest annually than buying it in stable coins which will not give you any interest.
Saving our money in the bank is also not really a good advice, it would be a big achievement even if we make 1% per annum through the interest because to get the net returns we need to subtract inflation rate from annual interest rates.Staking stable coins also do the same thing as saving money on bank accounts but both are not really worth it.

They are not investments. Those stable coins means nothing as an investment if that's what you're thinking.
There is no risk and volatility with those coins as if you're just holding a plain cash such as USD.

Keeping your savings in stablecoins is just as dangerous as in altcoins. If there is no goal to increase your capital, but only to save it, it is better to continue to keep your money in dollars or euros. Well, if there is such a desire to make money on the volatility of the cryptocurrency, then the first step should be to buy bitcoin and Ethereum.

Welcome to the crypto world OP.
The coins that you mentioned USDT and Gemini are so called stable coins, which means they have a fixed price of 1$ (maybe sometimes 0,99 or 1,01).
So if you want to invest money to make profit out of it you shouldn't buy this coins. They exist to store your funds without volatility.
Of all the other coins BTC is probably the one who has the lowest volatility of all.

Go invest into USDT if you do not want any volatility. Crypto is volatile and people are aware of this, they have always been aware of this and I do not think that anyone can deny the fact that when you get involved, that is one of the first things you find out about all crypto currencies.

If you do not want volatility, go invest into gold, there are few moments in golds history that made it volatile but 99.99% of the time gold is very dormant and you can basically buy and forget and in 50 years it will be very very high compared to fiat you are using.

If you want a bit more volatile than gold go buy stocks, specially trustworthy good old stocks, like banks or google or whatever, they will go up and down time to time but they will never be bankrupting that easily, unlike some small coins that go under 1 cent. Crypto is volatile, if you want to be here, you have to accept it.

They are complaining sich a thing because, in the first place, they are investing in a thing that they never understand. Why there are a lot of people investing Bitcoin this time? Investing isn't magic, buy now, and gain profit after? No, it was not like that and sometimes it takes days, weeks, or even years to wait for us to gain more profits. Those people who suffered losses after investing Bitcoin are those you are impatient people, and they shouldn't have to complain because that is their fault also, not Bitcoin itself and the market.
