Blessing definitely to the early adopters that just held their coins, especially those from the time when they use thousands of it to buy pizza. Oh, just imagine the disappointment of that guy. I'm still fairly new but am also hoping that I'd make money out of it.
It would definitely be a blessing if we do get microtransactions back. With talks about government planning to go cashless, we need an alternative to keep our money. Why store all our money in banks when they can just freeze our account to basically starve us to death?
As many people have said, bitcoin is freedom.
It's blessing for each of us, there is no doubt that early adopters have more benefits from noticing bitcoin earlier then others, but even now people are joining, earning, gambling and to say about myself that I feel that bitcoin is blessing for me.
Many early adopters spent their coins on stupid things, they played dices with a lot of bitcoins(that didn't worth a lot back then), but there is some people that hold bitcoins strong in rough times.
Yes, it's still possible for new entrants to earn a profit. Still, reading how much it cost in the first few years makes me wish I had been one of those early adopters. Just imagine how much the value has increased.
I've already sold some of my btc expecting some slight decrease but instead it went up. I still had the fiat in an exchange though and knowing bitcoin, it would drop down again at one point. It has always been a hell of a ride, except that with each plunge, the ceiling increases higher.
