You should always be particular and careful with your investments. Always check the whitepaper of each project, the product development status, team members, communities, ratings and so on. Only if you have done an analysis, invest your funds.

I think good and bad projects will pump alike, it's more hype and marketing that will determine the ones that pump more than others.

Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

Everything that was said in this thread was true. DYOR was the key and its easy for you to step on landmines if you don't know how to read the project. I also noticed that the founders/team members who are not that active in their community or Telegram, for example, are the ones that may become shady as time goes by. Once you get the feel of the project and if you're really passionate about what their mission is, I would say that it would be easy for you to be onboard. I'm always a believer of crypto changing the world, regardless if its revolutionizing the payment system, or fun stuff such as digital collections which I'm always a big fan ever since I was a kid. Just remember that entering crypto is already a big risk and a gamble at the same time, just play your cards smart and enjoy the ride!

Yep, after all, its your money that's on the line. IEO's are something to consider too as its a whole lot better than ICO's.

You should always look at what you invest in and properly evaluate this project in which you invest , I think now is the time when you need to look at the project in the future
Exchanges are launching new projects as the technology keeps on improving with the passage of time as we go forward. All we need is to get information about a particular project in which you are interested to read about it after observing that other investors are taking interest too. It might have some potential if other investors are choosing it but you should always learn about a particular project for your ease.

If you feel that the ICO is too much of a risk for you, then you should learn about safer forms of calling. IEO for example. But I think if you invest, you must take risks. Any form of investment has its own risks. The best advice I can give you is to divide up the amount of capital you are making a bit to invest in many different areas.

When investing in altcoins or ico is not just a matter of making it difficult for you to study it carefully or review your purchase well because nowadays there are plenty of bounty scams, ico and altcoins that are out there so everyone is careful especially for investors and bounty hunter to take good care of the choice so as not to be happy with their work as a result of many scam projects especially they are newbie.

It is really disheartening, the bad eggs now making all projects look like they are bad too.
Nevertheless, it has always been a good call to ensure due diligence is done any project before investing, the team needs to be checked to ascertain their level of expertise. The project needs to be checked to be sure it achievable by the team. I believe with these and many more, scams will be reduced.

Beside due diligence, regulation could reducing scam project or new scam ICOs. Sometimes investor make a good due diligence but investor never know the progress of project and i think this can manipulated by unresponsible developers team.

It is not to be careful of what we are investing I guess, because technically speaking, what we need to be careful about is to when, where, and to what project or cryptocurrency we will going to invest our funds into, it is not the matter how much you will going to invest, as long as you are choosing the right platform.

Of course we can't go into this trading of a thing. Or investing in ICO/IEO without proper assessment. One will always get burnt venturing into things one is not too sure of. Risk analysis is always essential.

Very few of the investors make investment without a proper assessment. But what happens is that due to the lack of strict regulations, some of the ICO promoters never keep their promises and that results in huge losses to those who have made their investment. But the encouraging thing is that nowadays the investors are also striking back, and are actively taking the legal course and prosecuting the scammers.

So encourage them to join the IEO of Binance, Houbi, Okex or Kucoin to be safer instead of investing in ICO

Livecasino, 20% cashback, no fuss payouts.

I think that is why theres something called IEO where the exchange will requires verification for any of the upcoming project that wants to use their service so that the legitimacy of that project will be known by people, that also what contributes to the popularity of IEO simply because people judge it as more legit than ordinary ICO

1. It's nothing more than making a deal with the exchange and proving very basic things like the idea "works" and the token has a plan, and the whitepaper is passable.
2. The exchange gets a cut of the funds raise so big conflict of interest.
3. It doesn't make IEO more legit than ICO. It just means you trust the exchange to do right.

For me to join Binance IEO really does not need to analyze or understand. Any IEO causes BNB price to increase compared to the start of the IEO, and the profit when purchasing that IEO

This has happened very often at ICO project, most of dev only care about their pockets. My advice is, do research very carefuly before investing and if you are still unsure, then you can ask someone who is more expert than yourself.

That's certainly true, we should learn to be careful the way we invest. Not all hype projects turns out great, some didn't even list on a good exchange let alone achieveing what was stated in the whitepaper.
There are many scams, and the only way to play safe is studying the project before investing.

Just as we can't buy any goods without checking it out, same should be with the crypto space. We should learn how to study and research projects before investing so as to protect our funds. There are many scam projects now and if one is not duly careful might be a victims. I believe with IEOs coming to play, these scam projects will be reduced to the least minimum.
we must always be careful with anything that leads to investment, IEO, although it has hopes to reduce fraud, I think there is still a gap for individuals to commit fraud and it must be properly aware and must protect investors.

Investment in cryptocurrencies is quite risky, especially when investing in ICOs. Make your own research when you chose a project to invest in and you will be likely to get a good profit.
