Recently in my country someone got scammed by investing on an ICO,all the money he invested is his black money and the money is about $100M.So people need to be careful on what they are investing and in this case it is just black money so he can't do anything here.
Just do some research about that project before investing your hard earned money and some scam projects can be easily identified too,if you don't know how to evaluate then ask the experts help.

Yap I agree, you to thoroughly review and scan the team behind the project, there are lots of scam ICO's out and that's why BIG countries are regulating companies whose into ICO's to filter those scams to legit. It would be best if people would invest on ICO's whose Founder has great background and advisors who is popular and with good ratings in ICO bench. Have a peek with money token, this one is great.

Just don't focus in ICO, some are failing during their pre-sale and is announcing that they are no longer continuing and will just stop the ICO/project easily.

I wonder some project are not aiming for their token to reach the exchange, they are all busy reaching their soft cap, the hard cap and target sale? then what? Many bought their token, then what? Can they used it on simple stores? That's why, really you need to be careful with your investment.

I feel that being meticulous is one attribute most investors do not have. They just want to pack up all they can all in the name of ICOs because they have heard how some always end up hitting as high as 1000% and then thinking that is how it is always going to work. It is a crazy space and an unregulated one, so it is very important to always take every necessary precautionary step so as to always end up safe. Prevention like they always say is far better.

Moreover, some of us keep talking about why regulation is not important. As it is, it seems there is no way some investors will not end up getting screwed without regulation. Some of these things happening have left some countries to disallow their participants from participating in ICOs while some are clamoring on getting it regulated. I guess we just have to stick with the regulation for everyone to be safe since some cannot do a simple digging on their own.

I don't find that to be a valid excuse to be honest. It doesn't really matter whether people are newbies or not, the main thing here is that every well thinking being has a decent level of common sense thinking capability.

I have never fallen for any investment, because I know legit services and projects can't offer me the returns that are worthy. In case they tell you they can offer you worthy returns, it's likely a scam.

People think 2% returns per day are low, but that's not the case. If you do 365 x 2%, you'll see how much of a fake and scummy service or project it is. It's embarrassing knowing that people in here are that stupid.

I have only dived in into this cryptoworld alone without any friends to teach me up but yet this forum do teach me things which things should be avoided.Mistakes on being a newbie cant really be avoided and i do admit im getting greedy from the start and having that easy money mindset would really put you in trouble and that experience would really give you a lesson.As we gain experience we will really able to know things that we havent known before.

It is true that many ICO is a fraud, especially in a bear market, they only know to circle the money, and do nothing.

Yeah,you need to be careful while you are investing because it is our hard earned money so don't invest on it blindly and investing on ICOs are more riskier if you don't know to eveluate that project then ask experts help or better to invest on crypto currencies which are safe and totally legit that is why it has value but cryptos also lose its value so choose the best coin.
