Oh wow, you are correct, I didn't look at the timestamp of the OP. If that is the case, I think that the kudos are totally earned, especially that as I wrote in my post, in years 2015-17 we had more places accepting bitcoins than we do today.

I do not think those companies would even read those emails sent to them in the first place, I think it would take some time before more companies would start to consider accepting bitcoin as a payment option, the most important issue now is to encourage more people to start using bitcoin.

Just for your information: there used to be much more companies actually accepting bitcoin before 2017, and maybe even in 2015, then there are now. It is related to unacceptably high transaction fees in bitcoin in last months of 2017. A lot of companies dropped the support for bitcoin payments then (Steam is the most widely known, but there were many more) and a lot of local merchants dropped the support too, I remember reading the post of some German member who said he can see places accepting bitcoin literally disapearing from Berlin.

So you may write letters all you want. You may even convince them. But the next price move comes, like in last months of 2017, and transaction fees go through the roof again because bitcoin blocks cannot stand the demand of users, and all those new companies you convinced will drop the support for bitcoin again in no time.

What is needed is a fundamental change in bitcoin transaction processing or fee allocation or both. It is not constructive, I know, but I don't have a solution here. But pointing out a problem is the first step, isn't it?

There are businesses in asia accept bitcoins as a medium of payment specially in some resort or tourist destination, because it is a very comfortable for their costumers to use bitcoin than using dollars because of risk bringing fiat currency. Bitcoin is faster and reliable and no boundaries.

It's a good idea. I tried t do in my company but in Russia it'not legal or illegal. When I opened btc payment in three days the inspector told me that I must stop using this type of payment

because that is where bitcoin is well received and it has also been legalized amate that most companies have used bitcoin as a means of payment, but if the state has not legalized bitcoin it will certainly not dare the company use bitcoin as a payment

This is a great way to promote bitcoin to other companies it can gain a good feedback even they dont accept it for sure they will make a deep research about it and in that way we already promote bitcoin to an individual.

You are right, going forward BTC should make rules and regulations and wider it's usage. Business tycoons should make plan to give payment & accept payment in bitcoin so that it's popularity will become a loud sound.

Well that will be a good idea for all bitcoin holders. We must admit, not all may have cash but not all who dont have cash do not have bitcoins. Some are holding their bitcoins so they manage of not having too much cash because they are waiting for a better price, so if there will be a lot of businesses accepting bitcoin that will be an advantage.

very good idea, we need to try it. other than that I have a way that I think is better. we can advise our friends who have companies. I am currently doing that to my friend, and now he is studying cryptocurrency and then he will apply it to the company he owns.

I think its quite good idea to promote bitcoin to companies to allow it to use to their product. Using bitcoin in payment is also good which there is no traffic and delay in transaction and you can also check if the transaction is done. I hope the companies that you emailed will reply to your suggestion and they will accept your suggestion.

This is good, this is one of the ways that Bitcoin can reach people and the government will take it seriously. When there are many stores accepting Bitcoin, the government will have to consider and accept Bitcoin, otherwise they will suffer a big tax loss.

Its hard make bussiness accepting bitcoin if government still ban it. In my country, bitcoin for payment still banned and merchant can not accept bitcoin because its againts the rules. Hopely in near future, my government regulate bitcoin and following advance country to accept bitcoin as payment

True, very impressive idea, if only making companies that recieved bitcoin as mode of payment why not. Iam amaze those who are strong enough to create their own company. Hopefully here in crypto community market many will propose this project for the common good of the people.
