At same time there are many lies about bitcoin, which of course must be completely exposed and then ignored next. Actually, lies aren't a big issue on long run, because they don't last longer when put face to face with the facts and the reality.

Actually there are a lot of lies about Bitcoin spread by Bitcoin haters, and that can make people who don't understand Bitcoin wrong in
understanding Bitcoin. Finally people who misunderstood Bitcoin, become negative about Bitcoin and it only prevents them get benefit
from Bitcoin. Therefore, it is important to seek information from trusted sources, so that we can get correct information and avoid lies.
But somehow the lie will not last as long as you say, because sooner or later the real truth will be revealed, especially now we are very easy
to get information. So we can compare the various information, and we get to find out the truth.

What do you mean by USA banned the gold few years back. Why I’m still seeing the Gold Rush show from history channel till today? Was it a lie too!

I don’t think we should be believing piece of paragraph that is being published in the news articles like this. Even the reputed sites like medium, word press etc can be easily manipulated by the writers. It’s either fake publicity, more attention seeking attitude via negative news or simply paid news.

There are genuine podcasts, TV news channels and also science based channels which can tell the reality.

Better always confirm with multiple channels.

Bitcoin is still gonna be part of our lives forever. Like forever!

Some people write to earn a living, whether they are writing the truth or lies will be determine by their readers. Some people are paid to write bad about a particular project and they will do that without thinking second time.
Some people don't have knowledge of bitcoin but they write from their ignorance. Because we are here in this forum and have some knowledge, there are people that don't know the simple things about bitcoin but they will be spreading FUD.

Criticisms must be taken into consideration, because it's possible they come with valid arguments, which are important for everyone to develop a healthy personal opinion about bitcoin and also to help enthusiasts to find possible effective solutions for the criticisms presented.

Although I don't want to give you a personal opinion, but remember this from me, don't believe anything good or bad is down to your choice and you will be caught up in your choices.

I'm so fed up with the hype or fud news about this field, and actually look at how it plays out and who's discussed it (including us). Are you sure that the countries that oppose btc won't use btc, or even that they are holding a lot of crypto Smiley , stay awake. Even for good news it doesn't mean much if we just get carried away with those opinions, And the truth will still be the truth Smiley

Hopefully, those that read this article will go-ahead to search about bitcoin and see a better-explained article on bitcoin on well-acknowledged sites. No matter how bitcoin gets criticized on a site the word "bitcoin" is mentioned. And it's the most important word. Nothing like bad publicity, some met bitcoin for the first time through critics' news like this one, did their research, and ended up using bitcoin. Those who will not use bitcoin will never accept it, whether they are an article on the NYtimes throwing good shades on bitcoin. So, this type of article will keep popping out from time to time. But, the main thing is that bitcoin gets mentioned.

In the past, I also was frequently looking for Bitcoin critics as to balance my overbullishness on Bitcoin; and trust me when I say this — the more you dig, the more BS and ad hominem attacks you see thrown at Bitcoin. The only valid criticisms I see a lot are the likes of "bitcoin is hard to use" and the "bitcoin is slow and expensive" criticisms, whereas these can be easily fixed by further innovation.
criticism about Bitcoin will never run out but everything will just disappear...

stupid criticisms often come out of the mouths of bankers and economists, they say 'bitcoin will go to zero' and so on but until now that hasn't happened. as long as there are still buying, selling or hold bitcoin then 'Bitcoin go to zero' is just an imagination.
^ Sometimes when I heard some critics like, I just thinking that they are a part of those whales who was trying to manipulate the market and since they don't have the power to drag down financially, they spread FUD news to become market continue crashing out and it will hard to recover. If we know the fact we should not listen to those BTC critics because we know that one day soon it will disappear and try to help BTC will recover if it is affected by the FUD. Now look at, BTC has gained a lot of trust from the community instead of making criticism.
Whales or not then its better to stand your own ground on which you do only rely with your own analysis and wouldnt tend to hear out any words around or on surrounding which you could normally hear off positive and

negative sentiments which could totally affect your overall mindset or impression towards bitcoin. Its nothing new that there would be lots of issues and criticisms around about bitcoin but

this is would really vary or its up to you on how you do take it whether you do agree or totally ignore it.

Most of these 'critiques' are not really helping the average Joe to check the other side of the fence honestly. The critiques are not adding substance to the matter, and are purely attacks angled on topics that have long been discussed on most channels yet still surface from time to time—sometimes, with added twists on the story to make bitcoin look even bad. Trust me, bitcoin will always be attacked on its shortcomings and attackers would greatly exaggerate those, than they will credit the good in bitcoin and the things bitcoin innovated and helped in the financial industry.

Aside from those pitfalls you mentioned, Bitcoin is set to be the global currency.  If we can fix the underlying issues that makes it cumbersome to onboard new users to bitcoin and then it's expensive as well to use. That's the biggest talking points that I've seen critics have used to criticise bitcoin for the last couple of years. When it eventually gets fixed, I'm not sure there would be any reason why even the biggest critics of bitcoin would get onboard the ship.

The lies and criticisms are getting too much these days. I think as crypto supporters or Bitcoin supporters, it is our responsibility to make sure that we go out there in the public and teach people what they are meant to know about Bitcoin. It is up to us to clear this Bad understanding or idea that people has about Bitcoin, and help them understand what Bitcoin is truly all about and how it is really going to impact their life.

If we should allow these people to continue with their critics and lies, it is really going to affect the cryptocurrency market badly, because this is like planting a bad seed or a weed in your farm and as time goes on the Weed is going to multiply for sure. Unless you cut it out early.

I think you don’t really understand how Medium works; medium is not like other media websites that has a particular editors who write for them, no, rather when it comes Medium anyone on the platform is free to share their own ideas.

So, if you’re seeing articles you don’t like, you shouldn’t be blaming Medium, because they have no hands in it, rather you should have something to do with the author of the article. In a platform where people are free to share ideas, there is the possibility that you would surely come across an idea that you wouldn’t like at all. So, it is nothing new at all.

Well, this is only my opinion that I can share here.
It is not something fresh or shocking to hear any longer. Nowadays, we constantly running into people who oppose bitcoin, and we have seen the media solely report on bitcoin in a negative light. Some articles just look at one side of the story, the negative aspects, without analyzing and examining the positive aspects. That is media, and we cannot control how the media portrays bitcoin. We all know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I had rather crypto be criticized than universally adored because then it can prove itself and work on the flaws.
Your opinion is good, but I think all these people who criticize Bitcoin and lie about it are those who don’t know anything about it. Some of them are also those who never really had full understanding and then they decided to give it a first try and ended up losing their money in it. So, no matter what you trying to tell them they just believe that Bitcoin is a scam, and all they need is someone who would completely explain to them that it is not what they think it is and then lead them the right way.

Sometimes when I meet people who try to criticize Bitcoin, I do end up asking them some questions that would help them realize that what they are saying is totally wrong. And then after that I also teach them properly so that they would understand.

This article is written in Medium and this can be made of everyone actually.
Well, I don't exactly know about him, nor he is exactly an expert or not in valuing Bitcoin.
However, he himself said that he is not a financial advisor, writing this for education and entertainment.
Education? Maybe this is more of a one-sided accusation, it should be balanced against things from both sides.
But maybe he just wrote the article for entertainment  Grin

Btw, I am curious why at the end of his article, he seems to promote about new Chinese digital e-Yuan?  Grin
Is this actually the main idea of his article?

I can only say that people like this who wrote something over exaggerated thinks Bitcoin is like a tulip mania or it's just he/she want to start a revolution by giving a wrong information to the public just like how black propaganda works. Funny thing is they were allowed to published such BS idea/information or is it just what the author understand about Bitcoin.
But still it clearly showed that they aren't pro Bitcoin or maybe they just like to share any misleading and misinformation just for the sake of traffic in their blogs.
i believe they know that they are also lying about what they are saying. for sure, they will also do their own study about the topic but because they want to contradict what is the truth. they resort to giving unfounded statements to the point that they lie about it.
and publishers are allowing this article to be published. why? maybe, to attract the attention of the public with this kind of article. but the prob is, most people won't do their own research and believe what they've written. and this is why people panic because of the confusion. to address this scenario - every one of us doesn't need to believe every article published, we also need to educate ourselves with facts.
It is clearly targeting newbies or people who doesn't have a single clue about Bitcoin but as long as they don't scam people they do what they want to do it's just people really need to educate their selves first if they are too curious about the topic especially in crypto currency.
Someone should tag that publisher or the site because clearly some of them aren't using the right way to share knowledge but instead spreading some fake news and lies just for the sake of traffic. Perhaps it's their way to make the price dump but that's just too irrelevant because only newbies, not all but some would believe what they were talking.

In fact, they are using the name Bitcoin to deceive people.
Most people are deceived when it comes to making money online, which makes them think that making money online is a scam.

But, most people believe in Bitcoin, maybe they know less about Bitcoin but they believe that there is a lot of income to be made from Bitcoin.

When fraudsters use the Bitcoin name to ask everyone to deposit, the general public believes in Bitcoin, which is probably the right way to make money. Thus they are deceived. In order to get rid of these fraudsters, we have to spread the correct idea of Bitcoin among the people.

I don't think this article is true, does the writer think that bitcoin is a ponzi like mmm that will crash, bitcoin is a digital currency and it has value it can not be worthless , although the price may fluctuate but that doesn't mean that it will crash, even thou China doesn't accept it now, some  other countries accept it,infact , senator from one of the states from US want to legalize  bitcoin  that is it will be used to pay bills,so this article is wrong.
