The catchy sound of slots is what makes it exciting to play,
like what sound ? there are many kinds or theme of slot but you mean that sound where you pull the handle and the sound of the machine rolling ?  i can imagine it now and its not a bad sound at all compare to other sound of gambling games  .

Quote
this is just for the sound effects. As for the music, the genre for rap, it's also catchy and makes the moment of gamblers intense.

Do you have already a list of sounds/music you'll use?
damn rap is a cool one too just to be unique because i heard most of the sounds casino use were kinda bit jazzy or oldie but now many millenials are also involved on gambling so we need a new modern song too that will fit to them the most   .

I'll go with a relaxing instrumental music. You have the choice to create one for your casino or take an already made one.

But if I would choose a very specific song, I would go for Kenny Rogers' The Gambler. That is a sweet country classic for gamblers.

From a marketing perspective which I am not an expert at,sometimes the most obvious can be a good hit and Lady Gaga Poker Face song may work extremely well for you since many youtubers like that kind of songs.

For other options Youtube searching can lead you to some very unique theme songs for gambling in general.

But if you guys have enough time to work on it, you can come up with your own music. You can use it in other promotions and such, not just on Youtube because that's your own music.
I think creating of your own will do and probably ask for assistance from one of your company personnel if there's someone on knows how to do it.
Since it's quite difficult to choose from long list of choices you have then working on your own soundtrack might be the best idea. You'll be able to avoid those copyright, or license stuff mentioned above. And in addition, you'll be able to use it again for same reason in the future by perhaps recycling it or what. And I agree to @rhomelmabini deep house or techno fits the best option here or you can do some trap music or something similar with what genre the chainsmokers are into.

I think the best soundtrack for gamblers is some old songs like Tumbling Dice by The Rolling Stones because before I enter inside a casino I heard this music and I asked some of the staffs what is the song. There is always a background music in the ground floor, and they always play old music because it is very relaxing and it can definitely change your mood while playing gambling.

Since you want to cater the new generation I think deep house or techno would fit on the choice. I think creating of your own will do and probably ask for assistance from one of your company personnel if there's someone on knows how to do it.

There are lots of cheap license music if you search "royalty-free music" on Google. Alternatively, you could also create loops of house music. For me, I'd just pick music that I like and match with the video since customer's preference differs widely about it.

Indeed if OP is using youtube platform he can get music from their Youtube Audio Library it is all free but only within the YT platform, even Facebook platform  their Facebook  Sound Collection and is free to use in FB platform.

I see that the new generations millennial and up like to listen to the song which has a fast beat. But as @serjent05 say, that will be related to the license of the song. So I think you need to be more creative, and I think you can hire some artist or someone who can create a song that can be matched with the casino. Fiverr will be the best place to find that person, and you don't need to spend much money to hire them.

Since they already gave some links, I won't add any more, you can just google it and a lot of lists will show up. You can just listen to them, and choose what's the best for the theme or concept you will be doing. But since you will be doing a promotion video, for me, it's better to use an instrumental especially if someone is speaking in the video.

Since we don't know the concept and your plan for the video, it's hard to give suggestions that will fit your taste. In the end, you are still the one to choose what music to use. But if you guys have enough time to work on it, you can come up with your own music. You can use it in other promotions and such, not just on Youtube because that's your own music.

... or create our own so it won't be blocked in some countries on youtube.

I think, new music or not, gamblers will not care. Just show your presentation in a professional way. The current source link about some list you have there is already a good reference.

Since you have mentioned, "create our own", I think that would the best idea. Meaning you are capable to do that.

Youtube is strict even you will put a "No copyright infringement intended" or give credits on the caption. If you think you can deal with that, then good.

I think it is for the site's use not to be publish on youtube.  He can acquire license for specific music.  All he needs to do is to contact the recording company for the needed license so that he can use that music for his site.

There are 6 types of Music license, OP can pick among these types that fits his needs :

Synchronization License (Sync License)
Quote
This method of licensing refers to music that is going to be paired with some form of visual media. It has a broad range of uses, including commercials, studio films, streaming advertisements, personal films, internal communications, and more.

Mechanical License
Quote
A mechanical license is needed for any physical reproduction of an artist’s work. Primarily this refers to the manufacturing of CDs or distribution of music in any tangible form. Artists, aka copyright holders, will have agreements with record labels, distributors, and publishers on the mechanical terms of their music, and are generally paid per-copy.

A mechanical license is also needed if you are planning on recording a cover song, even if only a portion of the original song is used. This also includes adding your own lyrics, re-mixing, or changing anything about the original recording that affects the overall integrity of the artists' composition.

Master License
Quote
Master licenses are a bit more complex than most others, in that they’re similar to sync licenses but not quite as broad-ranging. A master right is held by the person who owns the recording of a song. The master license gives the user permission to use a pre-recorded version of a song in a visual or audio project, but does not allow a user to re-record a song for a project (i.e. to cover or edit a song). Generally a master license is issued in conjunction with a sync license.

Public Performance License

Quote
This license is perhaps the most common form of music license issued today. While ‘performance’ may be a limiting term, it applies generally to any broadcast of an artist’s work. This includes businesses who play music in their store, jukeboxes, or any other form of public performance — all the way up to concerts. Performing rights organizations (PROs) such as BMI, SESAC, and ASCAP generally manage public performance licenses and issue music royalties to artists on a per-use basis.

Print Rights License
Quote
This license refers to the physical copy of the sheet music that an artist has created. It’s needed when someone prints a sheet music compilation, or any time the sheet music of copyrighted work is reproduced.

Theatrical License
Quote
Also a very specific form of written permission, theatrical licenses are very common in the theater industry. The license is required any time a copyrighted work is performed on-stage in front of an audience

I'm working with an online casino as marketing personnel and we are working on a video introduction to promote the casino on youtube. We have been looking for soundtrack that is related to gambling and casino. Although there are many of it on the list, we don't want to spoil it with lady gaga's poker face. We could either just have an instrumental shape of my heart by sting background or create our own so it won't be blocked in some countries on youtube.

Can you suggest more songs related to gambling but for new generations millennial and up. Any suggestions please.
