You can start investing in altcoins now because there are many potential altcoins that you can choose to invest in. I suggest buying ETH and BNB but apart from that, there are many more coins. Maybe DOT, ADA, TRX, NEAR, and CRO could be your consideration before buying them because I see those coins have the potential to go up high again in the future. But I think it will not be easy to choose those coins because each coin or token will look promising when it is not. This requires personal analysis by not following other people's advice so you can find the coin you want.

The market is starting to pump again after a major correction. And it looks like the market will now slowly rise again . and now bitcoin and all the altcoins price in huge dip . so i mean now is the best time to invest in bitcoin and also altcoin for long term. Investing now has a chance of getting good profit by investing in top 20 coins from coinmarketcap. And it seems that opportunities like this don't come easily again. I'm not forcing anyone to invest, I'm just giving my opinion .

I would guess that "all" your money should never be going into crypto, save some aside for rainy days and that's fine. However if we are talking about going in because of the price? I would say this is the perfect time to get in because that's how you make your money, that's how you should be approaching the situation.

I think this is the lowest point we are going to see for a while, maybe a few points down a bit but that's about it, we are not going to see under 20k for example, that might be gone forever if I am not wrong. That is why I am not seeing the current situation to be that much of a big trouble and we should be focusing a bit towards upwards and making profits.

Though I see Solana and Matic are quite growing, however, they are not the most trusted coins, ETH is still on the top list among these prominent altcoins. But I'm not really sure about talking about prominent altcoins as these altcoins have been a den of shitcoins, only a few are worth investing with while shitcoins continue to grow.

it seems solana and matic is kinda trending right now considering they have made quite the growth in these recent years moreover they even seems like kinda bullish even in the correction trend.
I think they definitely the ones that could make a tremendous increase once the future rally comes in, the other are definitely coins that falls under different categories like NFTs and metaverse that is gala and vulcan forged that have potential of reaching their ATH again.

If you are looking to invest in bear season, your best bet is in top 10 or 20 in the market cap log. That is if you want to go long term. If you are looking for short term, check out any of the pumping meme coins or defi tokens making its way. Its more rewarding but obviously riskier. All in all, it depends on your risk appetite, hands-on approach and pattern

If you want ro fill your altcoin bag then why not choose the altcoins that are top on the list starting from the top to the lowest altcoin that you want to buy. If I want to fill my altcoin bag then I would do what I just suggested that you to do since it is much safer to store it compared to an altcoin that you didn't know that much yet. If you do that then you will have to spare some time to do more research about such altcoin compared to the ones that you already know where you only have to search for the price movement instead of finding what that altcoin is used to.

If you look at the shitcoin then everything will look promising but the reality is shit. Research deeply when you are going to invest in an altcoin. Very rarely you will find an altcoin that has a real use case. You may choose Bitcoin without fear if you are capable to hold longer. If you intend to invest only on alts then eth or bnb would be better. This isn't financial advice, just sharing my thoughts. Do your own research always.

I could also see that Ethereum has the best movement these days and it would be wise to accumulate more of this coin while the price is still too cheap. I could also see a huge potential in BNB and I believe that it could also prove its potential when the market recovers. These coins are worth investing in the long run next to Bitcoin and would be profitable when the bull run comes.

I don't know how long you have been away but it would guess that the best coin was Ethereum already when you left and i would also say the best altcoin today is definitely still Ethereum. It also fulfills all your requirements that you have towards a project, it has a huge community, it's utility is amazing because of the smart contract functionality and because of the merge that will probably happen soon, the price development should also be pretty good.
If you don't want to invest into Ethereum, then of course you can also invest into other big altcoins like Cosmos, Polkadot, Cardano or whatever you like. There are a lot of big altcoins out there nowadays. Just stay away from meme-coins.

According to me investing in alts is very risk at current situation.
If you listen to me op, then I would suggest you to invest in Bitcoins. Currently Bitcoin prices are in great condition to buy. Buy now and hold for 3 to 4 months. Definitely you will see twice profit.
If you still want to hold altcoins, then ETH is the best choice. It’s good to hold ETH also.
If you want more suggestions, then you can also go for BNB and XRP.

Prominent altcoins?
Well, I'd consider the top 10 altcoins in the CMC to be prominent altcoins and seems to be the best coins to invest. If you aim to earn a profit and secure your funds from investing altcoins, better to consider them first before jumping to new projects. I would say that you are playing safe rather than risking the promising look of these shitcoins which only make you regrets after.

You have to manage your funds carefully and don't just focus on altcoins,
60% for Bitcoin
40% altcoins

I think it was the safest play in the market.

IMO, I believe there are too many promising altcoins with a good used case in the market today, the only problem is just the funds, it's too many to mention, like Solana, Ethereum BNB, Matic, etc. this altcoin has a huge community in the background and also this altcoins has many use cases and also actively developing in the background so I think its already a good choice but the decision still yours to follow.
