I want to believe that LTC will go 1K this year but I already here long ago when LTC is just a mere $4/BTC and he was left alone by many cryptocurrencies. I hate to say this but I don't believe 1K will be reached this year because LTC is a slow mover despite of the huge following it enjoys.

It seems that the implementation of the Lightning Network runs without any surprises, so if there will not come next crash on the market, $1000 should be achieved in this year without any problems.

Fixed for clarity. In essence if the market is bullish and LTC pumps, ETH will most certainly pump as well, it wont stay static. Especially with the roadmap it has ahead of it for the year as well... Litecoin might surpass Ethereum but it's not in the near future. It might hit 500$ in this year but I don't think it'll ever hit 1k$ till 2020. Play long if you like.
I dont think Litecoin might surpass Ethereum and it's too hard to Litecoin can reach $500 in 2018 although Litecoin is increasing very strong because it prepare Hard Fork but it can't pass $300. The price of Litecoin will stable in range of $150 - $300 in 2018.

LTC has been in the market for too long,it should rise even more. It may be possible as it depends on the investors. Let's hope your prediction happens.
It is possible, although it is a reach. I also can see ETH at 5k at the end of the year if LTC does go to 1k.

Litecoin is also a good coin but I think its not enough to beat eth and ltc will be have a hard time to hit $1k this year but who knows. Just keep on holding and we will see a great pump this year, let’s keep on a possitive side because cryptocurrency will boom this year.

I have positive thoughts for LTC. However, it does not happen immediately. Looking at the prices from last year to today, it will be seen to come with slow and solid steps.
why are you making these speculations? what are your grounds? will they have big fund investments on the project? 
Yeah, I totally agree with this. Litecoin is still somehow undervalued as with the integration of Litepay we should see a pretty long bullish move and slowly go for that $1k milestone. I mean c'mon.. it is still almost half of BCASH marketcap.. I'm sure LTC can do better than that.
Charlie Lee prediction for this year is that Litecoin's capitalization will be higher than BCH's. If so LTC will be around ~500$ if BCH's capitalization won't change.
