For me that is an unrealistic expectation. We can expect a growth of the crypto by the end of this year. But I don't think it will grow this much. $5000 level is way too much.
It would be great if litecoin get to $5000, I will pay my house off if that happens. I think $500 - $600 is more realistic. But you never know, as many people are predicting bitcoin to be $100,000 by then end of the year, if that happens litecoin could get to $5000. We can all dream.
I think that price too high prediction, current price is $100 and not possible in 6 month the price will going to the $5000. My prediction is the price of LTC in the end of this years possible to go to $300 to $400. LTC can be possible to go to price $5000 when the market cap of crypto become $5 or $10 Trillion.

Nothing is impossible in this industry. Although your prediction seem high but the same price of bitcoin were been predicted it came to pass last year. Litecoin is becoming impossible with fee and naturally Ether and Litecoin should take the lead

I don't think Litecoin to be over 5000 in 2018, looking at the prices of various coins nor only LTC this year the price jump is not much and currently the price of Litecoin is 120 dollars so expecting it to reach 5000 is looks like highly tough task let's see what happens in future and how LTC varies in it's price.
