Litecoin is very potential! However, to reach $ 5,000 in 2018, it's a must-have!!
Probably coz bitcoin will reach x10 on its current price. The bearish of the market is the sign of which alts is going up and down. But at the end of this year litecoin will probably worth $5000 per coin.
I don't think LTC can go so high. If reach $2000 that would be good enough. But my prediction is not more than $1200 in 2018. As you asked, it it could go that high really, I'll be happy 
I think it can be difficult, because in my opinion Litecoin and there is not much value, it is more hype, so when the price of Litecoin reached $5000, so I think the bitcoin will reach $100000 .

So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. Too true. Litecoin and ethereum will make it big this year seeing that this platform holds alot of projects and prospects as it is. But a prediction of 4-10 thousand is a bit too optimistic. I would say more like 4 thousand for ethereum and about 3 thousand for litecoin at best. These coins have great potential to topple over the giant BTC but it would take a heck of alot of time and effort to do so. If nothing big happens to make the prices plummet and people make a serious move to increase the prices of these coins then we will see alot of movements in this coming quarter.

It depends on when they bring this ponzi scheme of an economy down. If before 2018, then I say $5000 is not a stretch.

Nothing Ltc is simply the first fork of bitcoin, with probably more faster transactions and that's all. I dont believe that litecoin will achieve 5000$, may be 700-800$ only.although litecoin is difficult to achieve $5000, I will be glad if the price can increase more than $300 and I think it is enough for me to take another profit from litecoin because I still hold my litecoin since the price is really cheap. the transaction of litecoin is good and fast depends on the other altcoin and it won't need too long to arrive in another wallet.

lol agreed. If it crosses 5000 in 2018 everything else crypto would be up so much you wouldn't be able to be a loser in any coin imo. You just can't have an established coin like that go up that much without pulling everything up with it imo. Obviously I don't believe there is any chance of it reaching a 5k level. I do think 500+ is realistic if we get into a nice bull run again.
$ 5000 is ridiculous. I do not think that the etherium will overcome the price at $ 1,100-1200 this year. And the fact that Lightcoin here is going to cost me dearly I've heard the last 3 years minimum

To the price exceeded LTC and ETH for 2-3 thousand dollars, the market capitalization should exceed 1 trillion US dollars. Otherwise, the price will not be able to climb, just out of the blue. Even with the release of Litepay, I believe that $ 5000 this year is too much. I think at a price of 212-220 you can buy for a long time.
