I'm not sure if it could reach 5000$ as there is quite a substantial amount of litecoins compared to Bitcoin.
Then again I can see it reaching ethers value if we can get to the similar size marketcap. I'm still surprised litecoin hasn't surpassed ethereums cap, but then again eth is a substantial player in this game as well.
All we need is a few billions from bitcoins market cap and we are good to go haha.

Yeah, I think we definitely need to go there. However, with all this crap Kobayashi brought in with the Mt. Gox crap that keeps giving, it may be delayed for a while.
Once I had high hopes for Litecoin. But these were never materialized. After incurring some loses as a result of investing in Litecoin, I realized that it is just another altcoin without any additional features when compared to Bitcoin.
For litecoin it is certainly very much, and I think that it will not cost $ 5000, but do not forget this is the crypto market, which brings up new surprises. You can even dream, but up to $ 500 will come to the end of 2018
The coin is good, but I think more than 1000 it will not cost so as there is no good news for it! but the coin is relatively stable in comparison with the rest of the violas and does not depend on bitcoin
Your assumption is good but even Bitcoin took lots of effort to reach at $5000 and not Bitcoin is at its highest pick. So by Litecoin has to take a long journey to reach at $5000.
It is not gonna happen in 2018 for Litecoin to grow to that figure. Trading as low as below $200 today, $5000 is certainly not realistic in the next 1, 2, or even 3 years. LTC still has a long way to go.
You pick the good coins, I also prefer to choose eth and ltc. They have good prospect in the future. They have a good market and their charts also have a positive sign.
now 2018 and i didn't see any big pump for Litecoin even more likely most of cryptocurrencies in the down trend currently and even though the price will climbing up again soon but i highly doubted Litecoin even can more than $2000 especially in this year and indeed i do agree with the post above me that only Ethereum can possible to reach to $5000 and for other coin i don't think it will possible
It would be great if litecoin get to $5000, I will pay my house off if that happens. I think $500 - $600 is more realistic. But you never know, as many people are predicting bitcoin to be $100,000 by then end of the year, if that happens litecoin could get to $5000. We can all dream.
So I have taken notice of this "coinbase effect" and I really believe that it is true. I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. I am NOT saying that these coins will pass BTC in any way, but I do think that LTC and ETH will be in the 4-10 thousands next year for sure. I think 5k is a little too high for a prediction for litecoin, very optimistic indeed.
On another note, I'm sure we will see higher marks ofr litecoin this year as the development team is composed of competitive members and community support is strong and healthy in comparison to other coins.

How I wish Litecoin reaches $5,000 this year. I might give you lots of merits if your wild prediction happens. I also believe in Litecoin but it never came to my mind that value this year alone.

I have seen your vidio. and this is interesting enough for me, that we can all predict market prices and we can all to speculate.
5000$ is unreal now. I believe that 90% of coins are overvalued and litecoin has a good price now. If we talk about bitcoin as a money the price 10000$ is not normal. We can't use it in daily live. May be ti buy car/home. So 300$ to the end of the year would be okay
I think you dont have bitcoin and also litecoin so thats why you think like that.
$300 would be not possible for bitcoin but still make sense for litecoin. And also hit $5000 is beyond my opinion.
As we know the marketcap is dividing by so many new token and it mean the price very difficult to increase.
