I think that people are downloading coinbase, seeing how high BTC is, and deciding to invest into LTC and ETH instead. As of now the value of litecoin is almost $60 and in my opinion litecoin really needs a huge boost to reach a $5000 value this year but there's always a possibilty in cryptocurrency industry so why not, maybe after a couple of years or so.

It is always a fun to read the old threads. I can admit in 2017 we could really guess that Litecoin would reach 5 thousand. We also thought Bitcoin would be about $50,000. The market changed, and now everybody understands that it's not true.

I also know it is very difficult to happen this year, but a few months ahead may surprise things. We do not need $ 5000, we just need the highest price of Litecoin in 2017.

You're the kind of person I can agree with for the most part. Enough so much hopes for bitcoin, the growth will be, it is unambiguous and undeniable. But do 10x is unlikely to succeed. Like the Ethereum.

I think it is very difficult to determine which coin will be the most profitable. I believe in Litecoin, I like its stability. I believe that in the future the coin will become the leader in turnover in the world. The price of a coin can greatly increase because of this. $5000 in 2018 is real.

Personally I think Litecoin will not get $ 5000. This can happen only if they have absolutely new technology that will radically change the situation on the market. In the meantime, according to technical analysis, it will simply repeat its maximum by the end of 2019.

About cryptocurrency, It is difficult to say what happened in the future and anyone can not surely predict about altcoin. Because it is a big market and no one can control it separately. In my opinion, litecoin can not over 5000$ in 2018. It seems very difficult to reach 5000$ in 2018.

Sad that your video has been deleted I would like to see your reasons why LtC would be over $5 grand. It was not close when you made your movie in winter during huge growth and now it is nowhere near and would hardly reach even $1000.

This was the sentiment around the end of 2017, I guess Cryptocurrency market was highly euphoric during that period. Litecoin dumped below $60 and dumping in price of coin was across board. Let see how 2019 would be like in price of coin in the Cryptocurrency market!

Litecoin - LTC is super light version from bitcoin with continuous development and updates but it is too obvious now LTC or any other alternative coins will hit that edge . actually 5000 $ is too high for all altcoins to reach in 2018 or 2019 .

Litecoin is one of the good altcoins to invest now because of the cheaper price now. 5000 dollars will possible to happen I think in the year 2019 or 2020 because it's only have 3 months to end of this year and I think for this now litecoin is only possible to reach 1000 dollars.

Aside of the market conditions Litecoin cannot cliche the mentioned about this year which I believe is so glaring and I believe the prediction posted by the OP was created to manipulate the price of Litecoin cause ethereum is yet to reach the spot not to mention litecoin. Meanwhile, Litecoin is not a stable coin as you said.

This is absurd. $5000 is highly unlikely to happen for LTC.

This is not bitcoin or ethereum where at least we are looking forward to blockchain upgrades and enhancements. In contrast, nothing seems to be happening to litecoin. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad coin, but i really just don't see anything going for LTC that should propel it's value at least in the near future.

pretty suitable at present day LTC and feature desirable improvement. In this case, LTC remains underneath the ETH however will provide right cost and seems to maintain to increase. I assume that fee is indeed pricey, predictions that cannot be guessed effectively.
