So I invested in Litecoin at around 0.015 BTC because of the halving but it has been such a massive disappointment. Dogecoin on the other hand has maintained its value against BTC and is now even higher. I don't get it? There's only gonna be 64 million LTC ever but DOGE is over 120 billion now with no max supply and keeps adding about 5 billion new DOGE to its supply every year. Why is DOGE holding stronger than LTC Sad
DOGE has a large community so they have a lot of interest coming, I often see any gambling sites usually they also provide bets for DOGE, so it seems that DOGE is more a solid community than LTC, many were disappointed about the LtC halving yesterday but of course also LtC has a lot of investors, so investing in both is actually no problem because they are part of the top 100 CMA, don't care about the amount of supply and also understand that the market is currently unstable

About Dogecoin, I think the reason is because it's being loved by the community. Despite a huge supply was added to it or it doesn't have a limit, the demand for it has been maintained because it's also one of the coins to cater a big daily volume.

Yes, doge really likes any community, including me, doge supply is not limited because it is a large daily trading volume so this demand continues, I myself compared to Litecoin better choose doge for long-term investment because the doge has never changed there is always a price change which is surprising.
Comparing the two, I'll like to take both of them on my boat.

I like these two coins including ETH, unlike any other coins that were being asked and discussed by others here. There's something about these coins and that's why we shouldn't be surprised if the demand for these coins is maintained properly.

That is why I wonder why people let you choose between two equally great coins when you can simply have both. I do not want to compare the two as they have their own unique utility. Litecoin is more of a currency like Bitcoin, only it has much lower fees. Doge is functioning as a tipping coin. Many people choose it because of its low value as well as low fees and fast transaction confirmation. Both are top rated coins with a big community of users. I don't think I need to choose only one of them either.

Upon analyzing both advantages that these coins had, I guess we'd better start holding this for good future. Don't ignore those potentials that they both achieved for so many years. There's no big deals if we choose any of them, or better pick them both as your great lucky asset which belongs to your holdings.

Do not worry my friend. I am also a Litecoin believer, I keep buying a bit every now and then.

Guess what I also hold DOGE, although I do not add to my doge,,, I just invest it in a casino and it has been growing, so that is like a big surprise for me. DOGE always goes in cycles by the way so I love it for that reliability,,, and this is a lesson that market cap, supply, scarcity are not always the factor for demand!

The price is not about total supply and circulation supply but the usability of the crypto itself, Litecoin has a little coin in circulation right now but the price keeps declining because people mostly used it as an investment on the other hand Dogecoin has more coin that Litecoin but the price keeps tanking because it is used for micro and daily transaction for some people. Because of it, the orders are increasing or tanking the pressure even though Bitcoin is on the decline.

many traders turn to Dogecoin because this coin is indeed in demand by many people. maybe this coins have a excess small fee transcation, in withdrawing or deposit. investing  in current market conditions Dogecoin is the right choice because the risk of loss may be very small than Litecoin. I think that's what makes Doge stronger than Litecoin.

coins with a large supply will be able to hold the price for a long time, also applies when down or up, it will be stable as it seems. you don't need to be disappointed with what happens to Litecoin, I still believe Litecoin has more potential than dogecoin imo, you can prove it with the daily trading volume of these two coins.

It's because of the demands, dogecoin is verycheap made it becomes the payment for all coin for small community they trade balance between wallets with dogecoin because of small fee and also small pair. In terms of quality and functionality ltc is far ahead but in terms of community dogecoin is bigger

Don't know deep about doge, but doge until now still have a lot of users that use it. For gambling, trading like usual or anything else. Maybe that is why doge still have it's demands for now more than LTC do. But LTC is a good coins and have big possibilities to developed better than now especially after halving.

This is not related to the supply. It has to do with the way the CEOs conduct businesses. because the halving event happened but the price of Litecoin was not as good as expected, this led to miners selling off their LTC to flee this bad business. In the future, if Litecoin continues this performance, it will soon out of the top 10.

I think that doge is more familiar than Litecoin, that's why every year they add it because it's needed.
whereas Litecoin will only control the price, I think for now
When you are counting both from the total daily trade volumes and you will see that if litecoin was getting better than doge. But again bitcoin is about having a very strong relationship with litecoin. I'm feeling no doubt if the litecoin will get a big impact caused by that. Remember about people are seeing doge as a payment system rather than litecoin.
Maybe you will see it has billions supply more than litecoin but just try to remind you people in doge is very like to buy and then hold. The majority of litecoin traders and investors are coming from the bitcoin market and that's why when bitcoin is going down to the bottom and then so many people in the litecoin market will try to sell their litecoin immediately.
This is what I'm taking from there.
Litecoin is on a very difficult position when it is getting so many pressure from the bitcoin.

The times are different. Sometimes Litecoin (LTC) is increasing while Doge is decreasing while other times Doge is increasing while Litecoin (LTC) is decreasing. That is normal among altcoins. Their demands are changing. But it does not necessarily mean that DOGE is stronger than Litecoin as a project. I think it is clear enough that Litecoin is way better than Doge although Doge has actually an actual utility among crypto users.

we have to know that sometimes, every coin has its own time to increase and decrease the price
you may get the time when DOGE goes up and LTC goes down
as far i know, litecoin halving doesnt give big effect in price. it makes many people affraid and decide to sell
and the DOGE, technically it is on good pattern (TA) to up. so many people buying and make the price goes up

In fact, this is an unfair comparison and Litecoin is of course still better than Dogecoin in investment. I think the current market has affected a lot of other coins and should be more careful during this time. At the moment Dogecoin may be more stable than Litecoin but in terms of potential, Litecoin still deserves to be an investment option in this market.

However, it is difficult to predict the future of these two coins and everything depends very much on the price of Bitcoin so hopefully that the market will return to the best development stage.

I have thought of the same thing about Litecoin after the halving. I thought that it's going to give a massive demand because of that event just like what we're expecting for bitcoin. We have based this on the past and our expectations failed.

About Dogecoin, I think the reason is because it's being loved by the community. Despite a huge supply was added to it or it doesn't have a limit, the demand for it has been maintained because it's also one of the coins to cater a big daily volume.

doge on the other hand leads the whole altcoin season, so it's signaling now.
I think you're using far too much terminology that you've picked up here but which you don't understand.  Or you're a bot.

I do agree that doge has a very supportive community, but I never really followed litecoin and don't know what theirs is like.  It is a good point that doge has not only held onto its value but actually increased (but not in terms of fiat necessarily) while the rest of the market has dropped, including litecoin.

Long term I think litecoin is a better investment, tho.  Doge has too much supply to stay at 32 sats for long, and it'll probably drop back down to 22 or wherever it traditionally trades at.  Litecoin will probably recover once bitcoin does, but it won't do so on its own.  There isn't enough demand for it for that to happen.  If I were Op, I'd just hold onto what he's got and wait.  It might be a while, but litecoin will rebound eventually.

I think Dogecoin is more easy to grow because the price for 1 coin is much lower than Litecoin, but if you hold litecoin you should hold and wait for altcoin bull run season and see what happen then.
