I like live betting more because its fun to watch and bet on your favorite team of the match, its of course more risky. Its more risky but the odds are mostly much better than gambling before the game.

I prefer live betting on sports rather than pre-event betting. At least you can watch the sports now unlike pre-event betting where you have to wait for the event to start. Nowadays, live betting is common so I do not like to rush to place my bets.

I definitely prefer pre event betting since I usually bet on games I'll be watching and I want to watch them at peace and not thinking about anything else. However I must admit that in some of these cases the thought of upping the bet or bet something different, like spread cross my mind multiple times but I never bother to actually go and place the bet. I can see how many could prefer the other way around, following a game and get "inspired" by it hehe.

yup, that is why live bet is very favourable for a lot of people. if u r quick to react to changes in real time, you are able to benefit from it, however live bet also have it high risk, you get lesser odds and u need to win a lot more in order to cover a loss.

Most of time make a list of 6 teams before the matches and guess win, lose or draw.

With live bettings you can win big but also can lose big.
If you have a good strategy is good to bet on live events.

Do you prefer live betting over pre-event betting? Would it depend on the sport you were betting on?

I like live betting more because sometimes game-changing events occur, and if I bet before the odds change accordingly, I get really good odds (compared to the chance of me winning). For example, in the fourth round match in the Aus Open between Zhang and Keys, I got very generous odds when Keys injured her legs before my sportsbook could change odds accordingly.
Yes I choose live betting..  Because we can analyse the game then.  But ofc the odds would be less.. It doesn't matter for me.. Since I gamble for fun

I like to use live betting as a watch to hedge a bet I wagered
before the game started.

Also it can be a good way to get a bet down on a game that you didnt
originally like but after seeing a few possessions and if the crowd is dead
or whatever you can get a bet down

i like live event cause i get to see how the teams and if they r on form for that match. this will make me more focus on the games too.

As a general rule betting prior to the start of a game/match is going to give you better/tighter odds because there is a higher volume of bets prior to the start of a game, making offering bets after the game has started to be much more risky to the sports book. At the very least, the sportsbook will probably (also) have a much lower maximum betting limit.

From an entertainment point of view however, live betting can potentially make watching a sports game much more fun then pre-game betting can, especially if you bet on some of the props that are available in live betting.

I like to use live betting as a watch to hedge a bet I wagered
before the game started.
This is probably one of the best reasons to bet in live betting, especially if the team you bet on is ahead by a lot and are afraid that the other team might be able to stage a comeback (this would result in the other team winning having longshot odds which means you would not need to give up your entire profit to hedge).

Definitely depends on the sport but I like to bet before the match starts on the underdog and then play the favorite live if I want to at the point. Never like to lay coin on heavy favorites before match start.
And how exactly this depends on the sport?

I don't like to bet during an event. I try to calculate and do research before I bet and letting your emotions go while match is on contradicts that principle.
So my advice is - unless you know what your are doing, and your judgement is clear don't bet during the match, ever.

I Normally used to prefer pre-event betting but that was until I found out live betting existed and clearly it's the better one since even if you calculate each situation on any sport, a lot could change halfway the game so live betting will surely save you some more bucks along the road as comparison to the pre-event betting. Also IMO it doesn't depend on the sport itself.

Yes, I do agree live betting will reduce our loses compared to pre-match batting but some times we may not get opportunity to bet on winning team or we will get very less odds because since the match start itself match might have become one sided so we may get a good odds otherwise it is sure best way to bet.

You may get slightly less odds during live bet on most likely winning team but it will save us from losing our bet. So 90% time bet only during live match and so for I got a very good % of winning my bet. I really like this feature to bet in sports.

well yah u will tends to win easily on live bets however u also need to beware of the very low odds u receive so u may need to end up have to win 10 times in a row just to cover a loss. so if u r in a losing streak, it can be very hurtful for u.

That is correct and that's why we shouldn't rush to bet in all the matches during live but we should bet only on those matches we are confident and can get some decent odds. Some time during the match odds will go up and we should enter that time to get more profits otherwise wait for next match. I will bet on match only if I can get at least around 1.5 times otherwise I will not go for it.

yah i would suggest to bet with good odds and not just any matches u think will win. if 1.2 or 1.3 i feel that it is better to skip it. i will also choose odd like 1.5 etc.

I do live betting a lot on soccer and NBA. But those picks are not suitable for posting because odds and lines are changing every second, especially for NBA.
More interesting for me is that my live betting stats have bigger ROI than my pre-game betting and odds on live betting have bigger bookie margin than pre-game.

When I am free, I usually check the team news a few hours before the scheduled playing time and then make the bets. I only make live bets when I have come late and the games have already started.
