If I were them I wouldn't back down anymore, if they had an issue and paid to shut the person up so they can continue that would have worked but this has gone too far and I doubt they could ever recover from this so might as well keep his money with it as an expense to how much damage the person did to their website. From now on all they can do is to increase marketing and banning all messages regarding this issue and just focus on getting bigger.
We have provided all the necessary evidence in relation to the user's scam accusation on us. The race attack vulnerability cannot be exploited by playing game in 2 tabs or more than 20+ if done manually.
Anybody who is experienced in WebSec industry can acknowledge our above statement. Even we had hard time replicating the bug and had to bring in a reliable penetration tester to replicate. We invested our time as well as resources in order to track it.
We didn't have any bugs as the user claims, Our Team regularly monitors the system error logs/warnings/notices on the server end.
We have processed Withdrawals / Deposits with no issues before and after the user accused us of scamming him.
We provided more than 3 chances to the user to claim his deposit by admitting to his actions in full with steps as how he replicated on his part and an apology.
IF the user doesn't abide with our aforesaid terms to claim his deposits, The Administrators or Moderators can intervene.
We, as LiveMines have faced a mark on our reputation due to the actions of the underlying user. All we can do now is to server our users as best as we can.
