as already said it is really unlikely that the user with a legendary/active account for many years with a good reputation can scam for such a low amount since he can more or less earn this same amount in a couple of months thanks to his current signature campaign I think that anyone can only confirm this...

it's the 512 gb variant  so it costs more  i understand that it's less then i bought it for but still almost 3 times the total amount so i  won't send that however i still have another phone

prove the previous story about how you are not an idiot and say that you understand what collateral means. the lender must have control over the collateral, the existence of information is not good enough collateral.

Where is the problem giving the higher priced phone as collateral when you are sooo sure you can repay the loan?

you must be ready to send it in advance and after I make sure that everything is fine with the phone, as well as that it is unlocked and possible to use with my iCloud account. after that, you can expect money at your address.
you must clearly state the repayment term (it can't be a long term) and agree to cover all the costs of sending the phone to me and back to you after paying off the debt.

I can see where your folly was in buying such a high end device instead of opting for a down to earth model that gives you value for money and reliability.

Perhaps, instead of chasing the next shiny thing, you downsize (sell the phone) and buy a similar device that doesn't have the Apple mark-up.  Then, look around and see what else you can downsize.  In this way you can raise the funds, upgrade and you won't be out of pocket when it comes time to repay the loan and interest.
