In my oponion, Bitcoin loans are too dangerous, because there are too many con artists online, and you don't want to be a victim from this. At the moment, I think what you need to do is maintain your coins and hold back until cost increase, to invest in something else later.

I know that people give out loans but what's up with people no returning what they borrowed?? I want to know this because I might give out loans myself and I want to know what to watch out for... I have ~800 BTC at the moment and would it be a bad idea to start loaning? I bought my BTC back in 2010 mid August January(when it was about $0.07 per BTC) and I noticed the price went up a ton! Also what would be some other way to grow my BTC? Any ideas on what I should do?

Something I should have added my friend was doing something you guys call "mining" I am very knew to the bitcoin world even though I have had them for a long time. I bought these bitcoin from him because he needed to sell them, my financial advisor has told me that the longer I wait the more return I would get so I told him hold the account for 5 years and ill see where I am... So last July I had gotten my account back, did a bunch of research then found you guys. So I came here to post a few posts and for everyone skeptical this is the proof https://gyazo.com/ee99cef712e9b72f03a3e8e870c33624
the loan is really risky if you do not pay the right time especially when it comes to interest you lose youe debt.
For a loan you must be legally binding. Everyone entering the contract must intend the contract to be binding, otherwise your money sure won't return. Online loan regulations should be viewed more closely.

Well you can run away if you have no legal binding on the lenders, that is a usual situation for online lending.
This is a risky business for the operators as they might lose a lot of money if they do not know how to diversify, let's have more borrowers here
than few borrowers with big loans.

I additionally believe that going for a loan is pretty dangerous but it completely depends on the situation. If you have a great work and you're loaning money to buy a home and also you you can now repay it it's not an issue. Loaning cash with no money will enable you to get directly into trouble.
If you have the willingness to pay there is no risk on you because your reputation will not become bad, however if we really think outside
the box, the real risk is on the lender because the probability of return is very low especially if you are lending online which you cannot fully investigate your borrower.
loan is mostly risky mostly because many people are giving loan on interest whenever you can back loan to him then you can pay extra charges and sometime if you are unable to back his loan in in fix duration then it can make a big problem for you. according to my opinion no one need to take loan from those area which are taking interest on loan or can give you for a fix time.

lending to people who are trusted here, but ultimately someone will cheat and eat up all your profits ... will end up with the price of gouging innocent customers, or ending with when someone who looks legit decided to run away with your BTC. better hold your coins or just sell them.
Honestly if I were to lend money I would not expose a big amount of money here, trust is nothing without collateral and the fact that collateral offered online is not really that valuable, borrowers can still get away from their responsibility and we cannot go after them anymore.
I would suggest lending money when you really conduct an investigation and have interviewed the borrower physically.
For small scale lending its not that possible to interview the borrower physically. In my personal thinking, though the legitimate investment websites provide with less profit it's good to invest and get the profit, because finding an user, getting collateral and then lending for mere interests simply a hard task.

Yeah, loans are too risky especially to those people who are not trusted. Give loans to those who you know that they are trusted person and know you will pay their dept.

It can be dangerous provided you do not know to whom you are providing or not getting the collateral as a safety or supplying as well considerably of a loan.
there are various types of loans like if you take a loan for a specific time and if you will not return in that time then you can pay extra 10% or other charges then that type of loan is so dangerous and risky but if you take loan form a friend or familiar without charging any extra payment and specific time then its nor risky you can invest in bitcoin forum and earn profit and then can return loan.

Yes loans are not only risky, but very stupid because when it comes to deflationary currency, if the value goes up people stop actually paying their loans back. Unless you have a good amount of collateral, it isnt worth it. Even then its questionable.
Yes, you’re really making a point right here. People don’t pay back loans, and it’s very stupid to give out loans, especially online, you will even be taking more risks. I would advise he keep his Bitcoins. But meeh…what the…this guy is damn rich!
It is not stupid, you do not know the smart contract or any tool can help you create a deal make the borrower forced to pay the loans. Recently, I remember some loans services used smart contract for their services instead of direct as now. You can research it through Google, because I do not remember the name of these website, sorry. Grin
Recently, I have encountered some direct lender services and I have to buy their property for collateral. This is a new online lending method, I think it will be highly effective when the borrower will not be able to escape the debt.

Loans are too risky specially for those with no collateral just a referal. There will be cases when the borrower do not pay on time or do not pay at all. As they say, noone can be sued of not paying debt. However, there are financial entities who requires certain collateral to approve a loan. There are also who just get the payroll atm as collateral. Loan is an option for almost everyone to acquire something. On the part of the creditor its quite risky but I think they still pursue this kind of business because many people needed it.

Well firstly, I don't believe that you have ~800 btc. Cause a pic doesn't prove anything for me, especially when the world is filled with treacherous cunts. Comeback with better proof man. BTW giving out loans is not a problem till you get a collateral ,if you're going to give loan without collateral then loans are very very risky. That's the basic common sense, isn't it?
That is so true. A picture proves nothing in this world of advance technology. Anyone can do such uploads. We have a lot of software’s from simple o complex ones that are just used for designing. If we talk about loans, the lender must have some tool to make his loan secure. Otherwise, borrower can flee away with the money and nobody can accuse him without any proof. Yeah that is common sense.
Escrows can be a way to secured it,never do any transactions without backup plans or at stakes especially if we don't know whose were dealing with were in advance era that too prone and scammers.
We have the smart contract platform of Ethereum for our transactions. To be honest, if we know smart contract, we can create any deal easily without any risk. That is the reason many large ICO projects can raised a huge funds without any case hacked from hacker, unless these projects want to stolen the money of investors.

The meaning of the loan will be spent in any sector and the loan risk from the sector and whether it can be repaid with the money of any other source or not. On the other hand, if you lend someone, you can get back the money given by the loan without considering the amount of money that you can get back to that money.

A lot people playing with margin trades, even with an high risk they are in the general doing nice transactions and being able to maximize their profit. At this forum in the begining a lot scams were happening, since a lot people were accepting accounts as colateral, now the most of them lend with a colateral altcoin, and a few still being able to use their accounts but usually are reputable people.
