30-40 minutes is not bad at all. And thats at a low fee. Me, i send .2 btc in my wallet with a low fee but it takes several hours to be conformed. Just put your fee on priority to avoid inconvience. The transactions these days are atking a lot of time than before. They said that this problem is due to spam attack. So i hope they will fix it soon.

Hi All

Just thought i would sell a few BTC and used my old wallet and sent 2.2 BTC......Stated low transaction fee ??

So i sent abother 2.22 BTC via mt Multibit wallet and it's the same !!!

WHY...It was always 30-40mins !!!

 Huh

This is outrageous and there's the need for us to implement segwit or BU or even increase the block size to say 4.0 mb for us to get quicker confirmations because it's gradually getting out of hand and it's now settling on whether to go for a hard fork or a soft fork. We need solutions people, not arguments!!!

I dont understand why you would come on here to complain about how long it is taking to get a confirmation,  either you just want to vent off  or you havnt been keeping up with recent news regarding Fees/confirmation times.  So the simple answer is that know body can tell you why unless you or local bitcoins haven't paid the correct fee to get included in a block or you have inputs that havn't paid and are still awaiting confirmation.

Several threads revealing the same information but on several requirements of transactions were running parallel. At least you can be happy because you've got confirmed in 30-40 mins though you have paid small fee. This is not a big delay, users are waiting more than 48 hours to get their transaction confirmed.

As far as I understand, his transaction wasn't confirmed. What he is saying is that it always has been 30-40mins, but now it's not like that any more.

Well I was in the same situation several weeks ago. Waited around 36 hrs for the first confirmation although my fee was $0.30.

This is a lot happening in the exchanger, I once sent a bitcoin from blockchain and time of confirmation over 6 days or 6x24 = 144 hours, this might occur because of a busy block.

if the wallet address was right, it's just the good and old queue.
https://blockchain.info/en/unconfirmed-transactions

100k+ unconfirmed transactions.
if you paid 50k~100k satoshi fee, you'll probably have too wait a lot...
This is the first time i have seen 100k transactions in the mempool waiting to be confirmed, probably just another spam attack.

The price jump lately is not helping either. More people are boarding the bitcoin train as they are experiencing FOMO. This will also increase the pressure by adding a ton of real transactions besides the spam to the network.

I still see way too many 1 transaction blocks being mined when there are tens of thousands of transactions with fee attached sitting in the blockchain.
Miners should be made to fill blocks especially at times of high unconfirmed transaction in the mempool.
I would like to know one thing,do miners have the ability to manually include a transaction in their mining block and another doubt is even with the one transaction per block will they be getting the 12 bitcoin for the block. The transaction delays are really frustrating but with higher fees it will get through within an hour.

30-40 isn't good either, it should confirm in 10 minutes, when everything work good, which isn't the case with bitcoin that do not scale

with multibit you can't even do abandon transaction i think, or they have integrated it in the last version?

now just wait it will return back or get confirmed eventually

Yes the same issue got generated in the past when bitcoin fake volume were identified by the peoples bank of China. Thousands of transaction were found unconfirmed when blocks get mined continuously. Also confirmation delay is found high in localbitcoins higher than other wallets.

30-40 minutes is not that long. I once waited 1 day for a transaction to confirm. What I learned from this spam attacks is, bitcoin is not yet ready for the future or major adaption. 100K unconfirmed transactions is not forgivable. Bitcoin must adopt to be able to process more transactions.

Been there, happened lots of times and it really feels bad when we are struck at a point in the Bitcoin's life. I guess segwit may solve most of the problems we are facing now, increasing a fees will be a short term solution for this waiting.

The talk about these  delayed confirmations are driving my nerves crazy and I urge the developers to help us with an increased block size because these problems are escalating due to the numerous complaints we are reading about on this forum. Please do something.

A bunch of people is having this problem.
Slow transactions are Bitcoin worse thing (yes, it is getting bad).

Speeding up the transaction could be accelersted a little using:

https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
I see this service and others like it promoted by more and more users every week, unfortunately this may become the norm for bitcoin transactions until a solution can be found.

I also have one transaction with 60 satoshi+ per byte fee for over 24 hours and just entered its details in the above accelerator lets see will this work or not.

But how actually this accelerator will work? Is this just like other re-broadcasting?

High fees and unconfirmed transactions. Could have something to do with the spam attacks you can read here often in the last days. The scaling problem is still not solved, so the reasons are numerous. We can only hope for Bitcoins sake that it is only a temporarily thing and adopt to the situation.
