I'm not that depressed in this time of crisis...
Fortunately, until now, the government of my country has not imposed a lockdown even though the number of positive Covid-19 continues to grow. manage your emotions and thoughts because the cause of depression is a person's inability to manage his/her mood and mind.

Is anyone having depression because of Lockdown?

I am having a really sad mood all the time and also scared of nothing many a times. I also am very much addicted to anti anxiety pills (prescribed) and during lockdown I have to take double to suppress it down. I dont go outdoors much even before lockdown but the little I did has stopped. College has stopped. Nothing feels good.

The first lockdown was alright in my opinion. Everything was still new and I kind of adjusted alright to the new normal. But now with the second corona wave and another lockdown I feel you mate. November is the most depressing month in my opinion because it's getting so dark early and it's cold outside. During the first lockdown I spend a lot of time outside in the nature, but with the second one I find myself mostly at home. Very depressing.

obviously i'm worried about the virus but from my point of view the lockdown is not a reason for depression but a great opportunity to deepen my passions and devote more time to earning online

Unfortunately, not all people can cope with being at home for so long. Especially if they are alone. But for some, this is the opportunity to improve themselves and do things that have been parked for so long. I hope people will look at the brighter side of this situation and if they are losing hope, think of others that have worst problems than them. I know it is not good to compare yourself to others but if it will help you alleviate your feelings, then do it for yourself.

There's hope for you and your depression. Take a look at what is happening in California.

Court Strikes Down Newsom’s “One-man rule”

After over 7 months of violating the constitution by exploiting the current State of Emergency in California, Governor Gavin Newsom lost a lawsuit this week for his abuse of the executive order. The Judge issued a temporary injunction on his power of executive order. Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, who was one of the Legislators to file the winning lawsuit, came on the show to detail the important win for freedom in California.

Do things you enjoy, eat food you like, talk to someone you like, watch fav movies, listen to fav songs.
but he is an indoor person so it will be harder for him to find friends while he stays inside their house.

maybe he must discover Himself first,He must learn that He is not alone in this world.there are so many people that can make Him happy in their small ways.

Maybe he needs to find or browse the internet about something that he like, so he doesn't feel alone. If he can see what he likes, I am sure that he will not feels depress, and even he will enjoy his time during the lockdown. But I think if the new normal is started in his country, he can go out from home and go somewhere he likes, but he needs to be careful because the situations are still not safe.
But His life goes like that for long mate as he is a loner, thats why i said that he needs to find Himself first so he might be open to be with other people aside from His family.

Actually this attitude is normal to those people who has bad experience in other people thats why they chose not to entertain others again.

There are still a lot of things to do even in this lockdown period. Make yourself busy, find something that interests you the most. For example if you love cooking, find time to research and apply it in real life and cook for your family. There should be a lot of things to do still, trust me.

You're right, the best way to deal with depression during this lockdown is to keep yourself entertained. Or learning about the workings of various websites and forums Which will help illuminate our future.

Depression is real and is often not diagnosed well enough. It's a good thing though that people are starting to open up a bit regarding this (due to the stigma involved when people openly talk about these issues), because it's always best to have someone to talk when depression happens.
Indeed its best to have someone you can open up with regarding of what you've been going through. That is for them to understand your current situation and can give you advice and encourage to think positive. Depression is a serious mental/emotional problem that should be address accordingly to avoid worse situation.

Find what inspires you. Remember that you love, what you would do if you had everything you need. And never take seriously negative thoughts and emotions. This makes no sense. Better pay attention to something positive - it's much better! Moreover, even if you still don't know how to control your mind, anyway a bad mood always ends, and a good one begins!

Depression because of this, fortunately, has not yet arisen. It’s just sad that isolation destroyed all plans for this summer.

You can still spend your summer time valuably.
There are so many things to do during this period in places that do not have a lot of people so you will avoid overcrowded places.
You just have to think out of the box.

I would recommend that you always look for the silver lining when experiencing any sort of depression. Being positive, or at least thinking more about the positive things can help you focus less on thinking of the negatives that this Pandemic has caused.

Every now and then, try to talk to someone, chat, and try to exchange ideas with, even if it's via social media (although avoid the negativity since there's a lot of them out there right now). Take note, catching up with friends and relatives is always a positive thing to do.

More importantly, conversing here on bitcointalk.org is also a start, you're doing the right thing... don't hold back, just think out loud whatever you might be experiencing. Create a post, reply to a post, and/or comment reply towards another forum member here. I believe that aside from our common denominator which is cryptocurrency, we're all here to exchange ideas, opinions, and personal experiences as well.
