I agree that the transaction time will depend on the location of both sender and receiver I experience when I transfer fund from my other wallet in few minutes I received it right away but when I'm receiving my payment from a signature campaign it takes an hour before it can finally reach my wallet

I just started receiving $10 worth of btc in my android wallet. The process so far has been over 45 minutes. What is the longest wait you have personally experienced?
It depends on how much you pay for transaction fees, Bitcoin transaction is instant but you will receive your bitcoins if you pay higher fees and will only require some confirmations. The longest wait for me is when transfering my profit from trading in poloniex to my wallet since the fee is only 10k sat, It takes more than 10 hours before my wallet received it.

45 minutes is a normal time, the speed of transactions depend on how much fee do you pay
The max for me was 2 hour waiting

For me it took about 5 minutes depends on amount of bitcoin. Its shows receiving under my current balance. I think its normal cause some of Wallet has a different ways how to process our transaction and nothing to worry about that .

The longest it took for a transaction to get confirmed for me was 9 days. I had sent a transaction of 0.01 BTC on February this year with a fee of 0.0002 for a transaction size of 616 bytes, 32.468 sat/B, low fee. It was a time when the network was heavily congested, around 80K+ unconfirmed transactions. The transaction was neither included in a block nor pruned by the network for 9 days, but finally got confirmed.

This is the longest Time or days a transaction to be confirmed, and I think that congestion that you mention was also experience by me and my coworkers and that time yes there are around 80K plus unconfirmed transactions I was so sure that the Bitcoin would be sent back to the wallet of the sender that time but I've waited just a day and 6 hours for my bitcoin to enter my wallet, and if you know the bitcointicket.co transaction map you can see the number of unconfirmed transaction that is congested that time!

Thirteen hours. Looking around here, it doesn't look like that's too special lol. The sender only followed Electrum's lowest recommended fee too, so it's pretty ridiculous. But man this doesn't paint a pretty picture. Something must be done to speed up confirmations if we want Bitcoin to move forward. Heck, I think it would be better if like, transactions a few days old automatically get priority. It's a really rough solution and it might even create more backlogs, but at least you can rest easy that your unconfirmed transactions *will* get cofirmed at some point.

I do not think that you're talking about actually seeing the transaction move and you're talking about getting the transaction to actually be confirmed so you see it in your wallet. As for confirmations, the longest I have waited was maybe 12 hours, but I don't know for sure since I was asleep and it could have been confirmed at almost any point over the 7-8 hours I was out. The longest it has taken when I was awake was something like 4-5 hours, I don't remember exactly but it was during a point where the queue was very long and my fee was low.

I recently got a transcation of 1 sat/byte fees get confirmed within 4 hrs  Cheesy Luck I guess. But, yes sometimes even when I give enough fees I have to wait several hours before it gets confirmed. The longest I have waited is probably over 2 days, but I think the transaction got canceled.

I just experienced 4 days waiting to receive in my wallet it was stock in blockhain and no any progress in 4 days I suspect its because of low fees I used to transfer the bitcoin from my other wallet.

Hah! Amateur. I've waited for 2 days and 3 hours to have a transaction gain one single confirmation, and that is during the spam attack in Oct. 2016. Who would've known that from 1000 txs in the mempool, it would grow up to 130k+ pending transactions usually with dust outputs? That was what a group called their stress test on the network. It proved that the network isn't ripe for handling a heavy load of transactions that's why scaling debates pushed through.

If your fee are lowest as 1 satoshi you can definitely experience the longest time for the confirmations of your transactions on the blockchain network. about a weeks or two before it reach your precious wallet that's the longest time of waiting. but for my experience is 2 hours before it get confirmed and transferred to my wallet pretty long hours of waiting, i think i must raise the fee so that it can get confirmed in just a matter of minutes.

2,152 minutes to have a confirmation for the transaction (1 day, 11 hours, 51 minutes).

Like it was said before: Transaction was instant. Only the confirmation took some time.

45 minutes is nothing, I'd rather wait for a few hours than paying a higher fee.

But I remember waiting more than 2 days to get 1 confirmation. I think it was around July when the price dropped around 600$ in one week, i tried sending some coins but i didn't realize I put a slow fee, spent a whole weekend checking my wallet almost every hour to see if it got confirmed. That actually freaked me out because I thought my coins were gone forever. Since then I always check bitcoinfees.21 or estimatefee.

There is nothing to worry there mate, maybe the fee you pay is not that good to received the money on time, the lower the fee the lower the chance you have the fast transaction. Anyway, if you do not mind can we see the transaction details that you have there so we can check it out.
And is this your first transaction because it sounds yes.

This is normal. It's possible that the gas costs you give are too low. It may be block delay. Wait a minute, it's supposed to be there. If the gas cost is too low and the transfer fails, it will be returned.

It took me 30mins to receive my friend's payment in my wallet. And the longest time to be confirmed, is when I have sent a payment for buying ethereum. I used my bitcoin to pay for it, and it took almost an hour or so. We have a slow internet connection that time, so I am worried that it won't be sent.

i think its about 24hrs the longest time you been waiting before its arrive on your bitcoin wallet, thats is a very normal scenario that your bitcoin takes too much time in the blockchain, because every transaction now are have a designated fee if you want to make it faster, theres an option below when you are sending bitcoin, you can choose 3 types of them.
