I agree with everyone's comments about the site being very well polished from the beginning. I don't qualify for the post count and therefore don't expect anything, but I plan on trying this out as soon as I can simply because it promising. Thank you for presenting us with this game that combines not only transparency, fun, and automation but also professionalism and cleanliness.

Ok i sent 0.10 BTC to the address however i did not put in any numbers so i think it went to waste

I figured out how to find my ticket with my Wallet Address this was no problem

I now see you click on the QR code and it brings up the numbers and the buy ticket button

After i sent 1 BTC i have worked out how to play, its fun and enjoyable and it has a very professional feel to it very well done sir  Cheesy

come on numbers

EDIT:  Ok, my first comment:  I was confused as to what I was supposed to do after sending money to my ticket.  I didn't want to close the "Purchase your Ticket" dialog, because I wasn't sure if I needed to keep it open until something happened.  Turns out, I didn't need to do anything but close it out and add my transaction ID to the end of the URL.  A bit cumbersome.

My suggestion is to have your site actively search out a transaction to the particular address, and as soon as a transaction is detected, use some AJAX magic to create a very obvious link to the winnings page (http://bitmillions.com/tickets/1498ae78a6eb231b0512f942409f80e6f6ee1fefb1044429e99f4d3665eff9fe)

If not that, then at least say something along the lines of "As soon as you send payment, close this dialog and search for your address to find your tickets"

Also, I tried finding my ticket by searching for the pay-to address.  It says "0 tickets found".  (EDIT2: just figured out that I have to search for my send from address)

Also, the address page (http://bitmillions.com/address/1HSDNZYfcevZBNCZjj4y5wyxzbc79a6y32#) says "5 Free Plays Found! Some will expire soon! Click Here to Learn How to Redeem Your Free Plays!", but when I click on it, nothing happens.

All of this said, it's definitely one of the most polished Bitcoin-only sites I've seen at its launch.  Nicely done!

Ticket has being completed! I didn't win anything from the 11 plays (I could have if my TX confirmed a bit earlier!), but the design of the site is nice. I like how you show that you indeed can pay out the jackpot Smiley

So this is my review of bitmillions. I am not a gambler at all, but it was fun to pick numbers and hope to get one of them. I only won one number, it was cool to see it popup. The design of the site, is very nice and some good UX. In the beginning I was confused as where to start, but as soon as I sent my bitcoins and it confirmed I was able to easily watch my ticket and see how many bitcoins I was winning or losing. I also like how they use many different sudo random numbers to get the winning numbers, from the blockchain and twitter.

Overall great site and I could see it really taking on Satoshi dice as a little more user interaction.

I agree w/ your assessment of the site as with my first comment above I didn't know where to find out if my ticket won or not.  The site can be overwhelming at times but once you start to get used to it things seem to fall in play.  Also, when you click on the payment address to pay I can't "x" out of the ticket - I'm in chrome. Minor but annoying but can't complain never won anything in my life! lol  Tongue

Forget this assessment DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE!

Hey cool, thanks for the chance to test this service (and the chance to win).

Because you stated I needed to send it from the exact address I received the 1 BTC on I made a new (empty) wallet to be able to make sure this would happen. However of course there is no money for the transfer fee so I transferred a Bitcent to the address to cover that and will be able to find out whether I win after that confirms.

So far I have taken a look at the site and it looks really smooth and user-friendly. I especially like the linking to third-party operators for buying the needed Bitcoins (widens your target audience I think). So far I have read the FAQ. I must say I had to read it a number of times (can be the time) before I got that the pools were the actual prize pools for regular play based on the number of matches. I initially thought it was a bad beat jackpot or something Tongue

Furthermore

* What is the exact house edge? (10% on losing bets, but what amount of bets wins)

* What are the minimum amounts for the different pools?

* Small mistake: "That tweet generates a tweet ID which you can see in this chart, the tweet ID is used as the key for making a new HMAC SHA-512 HASH of the first hash which finally, gets the last hash. " 'This chart' doesn't point to anything (I wanted to look up how Twitter generates the id).

* Free plays and high roller bonuses was explained well

* After the transaction and entering my address I could immediately see the bet was received but still needed to be confirmed

Edit: it confirmed while I was typing, it is currently playing Smiley (this updated automatically on the "my address page"

I don't know what's happening.
I sent 1 BTC + 0.001 BTC fee to that betting address and nothing happened.

EDIT: Both blockchain.info and blockexplorer.com are down -.-

Hi Carlos, thanks for the complements on the design! Smiley
I am the lead developer of the project.

The system uses the first transaction input address as sender, in your transaction
http://blockchain.info/tx/d34c8c35e02417ef828fbda3f6454f7ab608159eacdf80e597093ef956468f93

The first input address is: 17zkBmfGEUHTEXQuV2z3hcM7r7LqQzuxN

If you search on the site by this address you will find it:
http://bitmillions.com/tickets/d34c8c35e02417ef828fbda3f6454f7ab608159eacdf80e597093ef956468f93

For more accuracy you can also look for transaction id on the search box, so you can avoid this kind of confusions.

We still have a few small adjustments to do in the front-end, mostly cosmetic, but the backend is been performing very well for the last 3 months we been testing it.

Any other question, please let me know.

Charly

PS: I am on FreeNode IRC on the #BitMillions channel ( and also in #bitcoin ) is you need something.

The website design is incredible. You really put a lot of effort and money into this.
Good luck!

I'll now that a closer look to the website and make a review.
