how are you planning to circumvent the Steam ban on gambling CSGO sites?
if there is a midleman involved, then you, technically, have to run two or more sites-
one for the gambling frontend and another one (or more) to store the skins and accept money and provide withdrawals
if there are any legal problems how would you be able to return the invested money?

it's possible to play the match for the gambling out of the gambling site in a private way and do everything for the betting and the edge still out of steam jurisdiction, in the game you just organize a normal tournement that is related to this gambling event, how is steam going to know that there is a service that bet on their game? they cannot

Exactly, please find my new thread though.
thank you for the answers
also, please, lock this thread then and link us to your new thread to avoid confusion

I might be wrong but if people aren't really messaging you now, why not to change the strategy? Post the site in your first mesage, tell us about the possibilities this site provides for users, the bankroll and potential changes you want or could make to improve it. And why not to let people invest the sum they want? Starting from a standard 0.01btc. I guess thus you'll be able to get the money you need faster. And maybe you should agree with the investors that in the sum gathered wouldn't be enough to run this site, you'll return the investments.

Made a new thread and did just what you said, thanks for the suggestion.

Valve and/or Steam put a "ban" on gambling, or intended to. What their rules state is there should be no trading into third party skin value markets for csgo, but how betting websites get around that is by making a middle site for deposits and withdrawals, that way you are not breaking their TOS in any way. There is actually nothing in their TOS that specifically states there are no gambling websites allowed... And you don't necessarily have to have a third site, you just need to set the bot up in a way that the user sends the trades and confirms them. Although I do have a middle site already set up IF it is needed.

If there are legal problems, the profit that the site had made will be distributed among the investors based on their prior investment, but there will doubtfully be any legal problems as nothing wrong has been done.

Let me know if you have anymore questions or conerns.

Any investment is fine of course, mostly interested in just keep improving and then launching very soon.

If any investment is fine so why you do need to open this thread to ask for many investors? If they think your site is worth to be invested, I think many investors will put their money on your site. And you said about $750-$1000 per week? And if you can maintain a good income why you do need some investor again?

I am running low on funds in order to support the withdrawal system...

Are you aware that Steam has been suing CSGO Gambling sites?

Steam has never pressed charges against a gambling site using their api, but if you find some occasions where they did, please post the links.

Maybe it would be better if you would create an ann or some coin or some kind of investor shares to your website. It would be hard to find a single person to invest a huge chunk of money to your website. Then, another thing is that there is a problem with trust here. People would be skeptical to blindly invest in your venture.

Well, yes, I will of course take in more than one investor dependent on how much equity they wish to have for what $ amount. There is in fact a huge trust issue here, Trying to find a way around that, but it is quite difficult. The least I could do is show them all the proof, demo site, twitter, old website, and any progress I already have. But I insinuate if they are willing to invest, then they are committing to a possible win or loss, although this site will 100% pay off. I have been a part of several other sites online and business's with much success and I will gladly share what those were and what profit was made from it if anyone is curious.

Thank you for your comment.

So, your Gambling website will 100% pay off and you haven't sold your house or car yet? If you are posting from your phone because you did sell your house or your vehicle then I am sorry about this post. I am sure that you could make enough money if you sold all your belongings for the site to run properly and since you will make the money back then you shouldn't have any problems right? Once you purchase the Skins with your money then you should be pretty good right?

Have you tried to ask your Bank for loans?

There is a "Lending" section for this type of stuff too:

Code:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0

Since it will 100% pay off then I don't see why you wouldn't just code with your smartphone and a small stash of cup noodles.

I'd like to go in with a partner anyways, there is work to be done, but things are made easier when someone else in the project with you. Not saying that the site is 100% pay off, but given that the house edge is fairly large, if the site gets enough players, it is near impossible not to profit in the long run. I'd go to loans, but I wouldn't be taken seriously or have anyone's trust. The bank would look at a gambling site and laugh.

Highly appreciate the recommendation and comment though.

Ah, alright that makes more sense then. I was a little skeptical when I saw the term the site will 100% pay off. I understand that feeling of having a business partner with a project, fun stuff.

I won't be investing in the project though, I hope that you find what you are looking for within this forum. If there isn't anyone in the loans board then you could try other loan websites that feature Bitcoin such as:

BTCJam:
Code:
https://btcjam.com
Bitbond:
Code:
https://www.bitbond.com

You might be allowed to do a small loans and work your limits higher when you have enough reputation.

Other than that, I hope that you have fun with your project.
Thank you, I appreciate it.

I just got in contact with a fairly big youtuber who is interested, so hopefully it works out.

Is this gambet.gg by chance? I had some GBT tokens for it but then they left and never came back.
Their platform was solid but it was managed with the intent to run off when they had enough attention and btc collected after the ICO ended and left all investors hanging.
Just look at Gamerfan for info on that failed site. Forgot who the creator of the site was but he was puerta rician or whatever. Roll Eyes
As soon as I read the title I thought straight to that site. Undecided

No, we have relation to gamebet.gg, but I had heard about that scandal. My site revolves around skin betting, it was highly successful before it shut down due to the past owners "irl" problems.

Feel free to pm me for more info.
