 learning about cryptocurrency is really fun and helpful. Thats why I literally don't joke around with platforms like this that impact more knowledge about crytocurrency. Beside the more knowledge you're obtaining the more your earning, got to balance it. I always try my best to grab any opportunities for me to learn more about Cryptocurrency. And the process of reading this post and the replies I've also learned new important tips and I will gladly say thanks. I'm looking forward to learning more about cryptocurrency in this forum.

I was happily reading as a newbie was interested in learning more about bitcoin. But it wasn't long when the newbie said why he was interested to learn about bitcoin. That is he wanted to earn. There is no doubt that anyone with the good knowledge of bitcoin will have to earn but as a newbie the earning shouldn't be bodly pronounced such that people could easily align with your desire and help you to be successful. It doesn’t therefore mean that earning I wrong, but it means that earning comes after learning and for the sanity of the forum, the later shouldn't come before the former.

The secret to learning more about cryptocurrencies is sticking around the forum for a start & reading various threads as we have vast information readily available for free, and another great source of knowledge is the various news websites that will keep you update with what's happening around the world of crypto ranging from regulation, security, new developments etc and probably will send you word hunting once you start to follow them.

You can earn but it will take a while here after you gain more knowledge for you to earn on your own and also help others to earn , besides, you need to rank up and that can only be achieved when you promote quality post and help others by giving solution or advice.

There  are some couple of rules though, check the pinned thread , there stated some rules as mentioned by others too.

 I believe as time goes on you will understand  more about the group and know more about how you can earn not only from the group though.

First of all welcome as you are an informed person in this form. If you want to gain good knowledge about cryptocurrency then you must know different strategies and you need general knowledge. If you don't have common sense skills then you can never have a good knowledge of bitcoin or crypto so knowing your strategy is a must. If you want to know good details about virtual currency then definitely there are many discussions where very well taught guide lines are observed. Accordingly if you can gain knowledge about bitcoin then you can earn good from it sometime. You definitely need skill and knowledge to earn you will be able to earn only when you are well experienced about Bitcoin. The objective of making your journey in the crypto world successful is to gain knowledge and experience that you can earn good money from.

What do you mean by that? Can you please elaborate? It sounded as merit farming which is a serious offense. Merit system was created to credit those who deserves it. It is something you give to those who contribute or help others. It's not something to give away freely anywhere. Only quality posts deserves merits. It's not something what you can gather. I hope understand that!

And what exactly do you mean by this statement? Like participating in gathering merits sounds like some activity you can do but you will get merits based on your post quality and knowledge on the forum which you will get with time and focused learning for it.You need dedication for that and learn from different resources and once you do it you will automatically see progress.If you are passionate about learning then you will do it but ignore the earning perspective in the start that can hinder your growth in future.

I believe you know that earning money online is not something that is easy because you can't just do that without knowledge, and I believe the Bitcoin forum is not the only platform that someone can say has services to offer. You can earn from forums if you have something targeted to offer, but other ways people earn are by participating in signature campaigns, which I believe require you to have proper knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency before you can join because you need to rank up your first account starting from full upward, which I say will take you some months before you can rank up your account because of the challenges of activities. If possible, you can even participate in gathering merits.
 

There's alot more to do than said my friend... You need to read really vast about it... search anywhere for the term "Bitcoin" and read everything you see (note, I'm only asking you to do this on a trusted site with genuine information)... I could give you a hand by recommending bitcoin.org.
There's no magic attached to studying, my friend... If you feel apathetic about dedicating your time to read, then you'll never know...

Now, it is clear why you are here in the forum and asking for help from old and experienced members. Indeed, you never fail to do this but if you can spend time reading old topics that would answer your questions (actually, there are a lot), you'll never be asking the ways to earn money from the crypto space as certainly you are going to find it.

I challenge you to work together with your friend who tell you about Bitcoin and learn together. In that way, both of you grow together and are able to reach your goals. And you must be thankful for introducing Bitcoin as you can find an opportunity that will possibly change your life in the future.

To keep it real with you, you don’t get to earn on nothing. The days of airdrops and giveaways in freebies are over. Looking out for those might get you scammed of the little you never thought to matter. Guess what, it matters to a lot of other persons, even those that has more than you already have.

Get real and realize that the cryptospace is as real as it gets. Same way you can earn in the real world is what is obtainable here. You only get to earn if you’ve got some service to offer, you get to complete a task or job for some firm, you have a well enough capital to invest and hodl bitcoin or your really good at trading.

I was a bit hesitant on bringing up trading because, you not knowing much on cryptocurrency or bitcoin makes you a newbie with all it entails and trading is one of the most risky aspect to the innovation. It’s a keep off for now but, you could study it and practice on a demo account.

I would rather advice you that you do your bit in building interest in the bitcoin and cryptocurrencies at large, making sure to get concrete knowledge of the aspects to it your met with daily and you would build your vocabulary about it.

How does this relate with the question you're asking above, you're asking about how to learn about cryptocurency and yet you throw in the questions of earning from the forum like we won't notice. Earnings from the forum has nothing to do with cryptocurency because many of the projects advertising on the forum aren't typically cryptocurrency related but business looking for patronizers like the casino hiring posters in the gambling section. Earning from cryptocurency and the forum are totally different things. If you want to earn from cryptocurency then you can try any of the methods that has been proven to be successful like trading or investing in Bitcoin.


Probably the users that introduced him asked him to ask this questions as he did it in the past himself and succeeded or have seen others do it and it worked for them. Unfortunately we now know how this newbies try to fish for merit and they won't get the better of us anymore. I try my best to ignore responding to this type of post when I see them because the creators of the threads are never interested in what you tell them by answering their questions but only interested in making it seem like they're willing to learn. I only hope the OP is different from the rest and not trying to deceive us with this post asking about how to learn about cryptocurency when what his intentions are is earning from the forum.

Well em going through most most of the comments here ya all think that since I was linked up by my friend that he must have explained everything to me, while some feel like am making things up and some other think am an experienced person in the forum disguising as a newbie.

So thought I should clear myself here (don't know if that's allowed).

True I was referred by a friend. My friend who referred me to the  forum is inexperienced as he too is new to the forum and so I decided to seek for help in the group cause I believe there are older members who are well experienced and who'd help point me in the right direction.

Sadly many newbies in here are just up for that purpose. Good thing the merit system kinda changes that although we still got bounties gets bombarded by these spammers. People would just choose the easiest way to go even if it isn't guaranteed instead of working out or investing first at something that surely will pay off in the long run.

As much as we wanted the best for OP to contribute, I have the feeling that majority of the responses, if not all, would just be ignored by the OP considering s/he isn't active for around 2 days already.

it is important for newbies to build their own accounts, contribute to the forum and not just hunt for bounties which will eventually turn newbies into spammers. It's not easy to develop a Bitcointalk account, it takes seriousness and patience to build everything from scratch. There are many ways you can contribute, of course this will also make them learn little by little about how crypto and this forum works. It is not easy to achieve maximum results, everything requires a process.

You are highly welcome to the bitcointalk forum, where the appropriate knowledge of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency’s can be found with appropriate explanations. In this form, many things can be learned if you wish to learn, and again, you said you were introduced by an old friend, who I am sure will tell you something about the forum. I can say the forum is strict when it comes to the lazy users that end up copying others articles or content to post, which is known as plagiarism and others that use AI to post, which are some of the prohibited arts in the forum, and if you are involved in this act, your account will be banned. I will encourage you to be more serious, and you will see the outcome of your seriousness.


Yes, you can earn money when you have successfully joined a signature campaign, which is part of the hard work and seriousness I am talking about, but for my advice, you should forget about earning from the forum and focus on the knowledge you need to achieve and know as much as possible and other experience about bitcoin. Then, if possible, you can invest the money you know you can afford to lose and start earning from bitcoin, and with time and hard work, you can still earn from the forum.

A MOTHERLY ADVICE focus on the knowledge and forget about the earning for the main time you are just new

How will someone who hasn’t been able to build his account participate in the signature campaign? It’s not even about selling or storing coins, you need to have basic knowledge before you will be able to rank up an account on the forum here. The OP should just take his time to learn about cryptocurrency. If the OP needs any information, then the forum is here to ask about it freely. The OP won’t even be able to rank up an account without knowing some basic things. If the OP is desperate to make money, then he should also be prepared to read. If you are looking for money here and you are not ready to learn, then you are just wasting time.

Mind you that it is impossible to master crypto trading/investment, yes you can garner knowledge, but no you can't master it and start making money easily as some people erroneously believe. Trading/investing is always a risky endeavor and there is never a guarantee of making profit even if you have been doing it for many years. It is better to make newbies understand that trading is not a get rich quick scheme and individuals who claim to sell sure/guaranteed trading signals are more often than not scammers.

If you will be able to maximize your knowledge and honed your skills at an earlier time, then the more that you will be more susceptible in finding profitable jobs that will give you good compensation. At least for now know your goal first so you will be guided what to do next and gain success after.

Start building your crypto knowledge first because that's the only way you'll gain more ideas on how to make yourself profitable later on. And when you've gained adequate knowledge and skills, try to experience investing and trading just a small amount. If you become successful on it, you will receive decent amount of profits but if you fail and lose your funds, that means you need to experience more while increasing your knowledge and skills as well. In the end, when you come to master crypto trading and investing, profits will easily flow in your account.

First of all, I would advise you to learn and build up your brain in crypto currency, because even if you start working on a signature champagne and you don't know how to sell or how to store your coin, you will get confused, like when I got to this forum I concentrated on learning first, before then I didn't know that a BTC address and a USDT address are different, I thought that's the BTC and USDT address are the same but while I was flowing in the forum then I realized that these two address are different.
If you don't know these things first you will get stuck in the corner and before you may realize it might be too late, (maybe you have lost your money already), so my conclusion to your discussion is that you should learn about Bitcoin first and know about wallets.

As a newbie in this community if your sole purpose is start earning from the benefits that the forum provides then I think you might get pretty stuck because your stay here should be first to build yourself in knowledge because that gonna make your stay here every easy and you can't possibly contribute when you have nothing upstairs. My only advice to all newcomers is to first read and build yourself before any other thought.

Since most of the activities in the world are for money, it is natural for you to think that here, curiosity to know is natural. I would like to say one thing at the beginning that basically money can be earned on Bitcointalk. But here you will come and earn a lot of money in the beginning that is not true.
First think why people will give you money, what is inside of you, people don't give money to anyone just like that. And you yourself are enough to know it. Then all you have to do is explore, explore the forum yourself, see your experience and tell you how to earn from here. I myself was like you and I asked people about such topics.
And in the forum you can basically earn through signature campaigns, but that is not the main purpose of this forum, the forum is created mainly for discussing bitcoin and crypto currency, and here ranking system was created for encourage members to help themselves better. . And also the paid signature campaign will give them motivation. This is the whole thing. Moreover, you can do your own service and sale by going to the service board.

For starters, you can utilize the search bar function and look for any of the specific topics that you think may help you in understanding cryptocurrencies further. Also, the internet is your friend- almost everything is available if you just carefully search the topics on this forum or in Google.

Another thing, I do suggest that you watch TedTalk videos explaining the fundamentals/basics of cryptocurrencies. That at least will give you an idea on how the blockchain works and on how it can be implemented in practical ways.

I don't want to know what you plan to learn more about, keep the questions to yourself, there is an informative part about this forum that many newcomers are not aware of, instead of creating this type ot topic since you are here to learn why not use the search engine up right of your screen? Every questions and answers is already available because believe me, there is nothing you would want to ask that someone haven't asked before you, so please use the search engine and keep learning, if you can't find an answer to something then you are free to ask by opening or creating a topic.

By the way you are welcome to the forum, the more you are willing to learn with your complete focus the more doors you will be able to open with ease, and enjoy.

The easiest way to make a profit is to just invest in cryptocurrency since you are already here in the forum there are a lot of members here that could help you in your cryptocurrency journey, so I suggest starting your cryptocurrency journey already. You could easily start with the dollar cost average, What you can do is buy cryptocurrency like bitcoin every week maybe every month or you could buy every time you have extra money with that method you could easily earn a good volume of cryptocurrency as an investment where you could easily sell in the future when the market price skyrocket.

Ah yes, the good old introduction by other folks in this forum. Yeah you can really earn something from here, but if you wanted to earn fixed amount of Bitcoin then you might need to earn some merits first. I won't go the loops again to tell you what to do, but surely you are made aware of how merit system works in here. Most SCs , if not all, had the rules of having a minimum merit before you are eligible to join.

Yeah this forum kinda give you the best possible knowledge, but don't let the knowledge here limit you from exploring other site as well like Reddit. I just love reading around in here since it is kinda chill.

No one can deny the fact that you can earn money from the forum when you join signature campaigns. What you need most is to concentrate more on how to add valuable discussion to the forum when a topic of discussion is being brought up.

While learning about bitcoin through the different boards in the forum, you can join discussions by asking questions and contributing your little quota on experience you have on that topic. If you are more focused on that aspect and willing to grow, then ranking up in the forum and also gaining much knowledge about bitcoin in the forum will be much easier.

yes, you can learn about cryptocurrency, money, blockchain, etc. better than any other platfrom.
and you can also earn money which is the form of bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.
here are lot of ways to earn money like signature campaigns(you are seeing the ads an every post? yah that one!), bounty(which i don't recommend wasting time for pennies),
offering services or selling things(check child boards to see what you can do with you skills or goods there)

To start earning with signature campaign you need your account ranked at full member+ (now your rank us "newbie" , to increase you rank read this thread, and read this thread to get to know the rules of this forum)

You don't need any rank requirement to earn by providing services. but you need to have a good portfolio so you can get people interested in your stuff, and give you work.

I understand where you are coming from, and you might be right that it's just some sort of fabricated story, which is what a lot of newbies happen to be doing, and some people might even be experienced users pretending to be newbies on their new alt accounts.

But sometimes (depending on the mood or if it's a good day), I don't just consider or judge things based on one angle; I like to be very practical, looking at a situation from all possible angles. The OP might be telling the truth or might also be lying, which I don't know which he is doing, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt and also think about it in another way.

What if the old friend that told him about the forum just mentioned it so randomly to him without telling him any reasonable thing about the forum, if not just telling him that he can learn about Bitcoin and also earn money from what he is learning?

Unless some people behave very foolishly, there is no reason to create this kind of topic if the OP has an experienced forum user who happens to be their friend ready to guide them.

Let me just use this example: I could tell someone, "Hey friend, there is this forum called Bitcointalk.org, where you can learn about crypto currency and can also earn some Bitcoin from there. After telling my friend about that, that might be the last time he hears from me for a very long time. It will be left for him to take the next step, either to create an account and start to look at the forum or to ask questions on that forum. 

I can also agree with you @knowngunman, that the OP's friend might be a bounty hunter.

This is another fact that majority of this stories are fabricated. Having a friend who introduced you to Bitcointalk Forum is a great advantage if it is true because you already have a mentor who can put you through. There's actually no reason for seeking for community help when one already has friend who's familiar with the forum. However, it is obvious that the friend who introduced OP to this forum might be a bounty hunter, hence the emphasis on how to make money.

If you join Bitcointalk for the purpose of making money, you're not wrong but you might end up wasting your time participating in bounties that aren't worth it anymore. When you give your best to the forum, the forum will give it best to you in return but most of us want the best from this forum without trying to give out our own best. Earning should be the last thing on your mind for now and remain focus for now.

To the OP, you might really need to go through this thread welcome message and kick start your journey from there and trust me you'll be good to go.

Welcome to the forum. While it’s highly possible to earn decent profits from the forum, but you need to understand the forum first and study what is there to study. Maximize your knowledge acquisition first and then develop your own skills and strategies through watching videos. That way, you will have to set yourself ready to take some risks as earning profits may take a lot of uncertain risks.

Earning should not be your main focus here but to establish your knowledge and skills first. That means you have to do your own diligence to learn all about the forum and its underlying topics that will give you brilliant ideas on how to earn from this forum later on. For now, do not be obsessed with earning profits, as it will eventually happen if you have familiarize everything in the forum that will be easier for you by then to take some risk and enter into jobs or services wherein you can be well compensated.

Welcome to the forum. I am sure your friend will have told you the necessary things that I think you should know about the forum. From your post, I can say your primary aim of joining the forum is just to make money, and I am sure not because you want to learn, but if you are having the mindset of earning, I won’t be surprised if you are not able to earn much. What I will recommend is for you to just have a change in mindset and have it in mind that you want to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. If you are making positive contributions to the forum, I am sure you will be able to grow your knowledge and also earn.
 
If you really want to earn on the forum here, then you can rank up your account to at least full member, and then you will be able to participate in signature campaigns. But if you are not dedicated to learning here, then you will find it very difficult to rank up your account.

Welcome to the forum @OP. Before looking for the earning in this forum, you must first equip yourself with the knowledge that is normally discussed here and that is Bitcoin and altcoins, the economics and technical aspect of it.  I suggest to lean forward to more reading until you grasp the essence of the forum.  I would highly advice that you visit, read and understand the links shared in the earlier replies because they will help you a lot in your venture in this forum.

As for the earnings, since you are still at the newbie rank, it will take some time for you to participate in most of the campaign here.  The most you can do right now is visit this board: Bounties (Altcoins) and look for social media campaign since this is the campaign that accept newbie rank member in the forum.  But be advised that most of the campaign in this section may or may not worth you time.

This is exactly the same answer I got some time ago and op I will assure you that the journey  is an amazing one and will be worthy one if you put in your best effort and here in the forum, there is practical example  of nothing good comes easy and the ability  for you to focus and making positive  impact to the forum will be one of your easiest  way to succeed in the forum.
A little advice that you should  never get pressured to rank up and don't get discouraged if the merits  don't come in, but I will assure you that as long as your sincerely doing your best and taking time to solve more of problems  or passing relevant informations in the forum,  then you'll definitely  get the success you desire.
Also take more time to read then replying for now and this will give you more edge when you start writing.

Searching for freelance employment on the Internet is profitable if your local currency is weak, so that the amount of 300 is enough for a good life in your country, because it is easy, after a year or two of experience, to collect 10 dollars a day, but do not initially think about more than that.

I was expecting not to even see anything about earning from the forum as a fresh user to the forum and to bitcoins, but disappointingly that is the first line in your write up. When I just joined this forum, my interest was more on learning than on earning and it helped me. If you plan on just earning here, you will not really be focused on knowledge and contributing to knowledge too, you make even break the rules like plagiarizing and get banned from the forum because you will looking for ways to impress so you can grow even when you do not yet know anything. You can even continue in the forum as someone whose post does not help any person. Try to learn first before you talk of earning from the forum.

As a newbie,you need to put learning first before earning because it is not easy to earn when you don't want to dedicate your time to improve yourself in the forum by doing your own research and reading in the forum. This is a good board for you to start with learning,you should read all the pinned thread and also use the search engine to look for qusetions that you would love to get answers to as it has been discussed in the past. When you are learnt and improve yourself,your reward will be earning in the forum. It takes sacrifice and commitment to be successful in life as making money isn't easy. I hope that you already have a means of earning a living as this forum is not a guaranteed job and so that you can also learn how to invest in bitcoin

This is the problem right now with other people. They're introducing the forum in a wrong way.
When they introduce this forum to other people, the first thing that they'll say is "a place where you can earn money for free" rather than "a place where you can learn, and gain knowledge about cryptocurrency".

Yes it's good that your friend also said that this forum is also a place for us newbies to learn more about crypto, but base on what you said, I'm pretty sure that the first thing that your friend said is "a place to earn online". I just hope that you will not be the same as other newbie-ranked members out there who are just posting Proof of Authentications, and bounty reports just for a few bucks.

Possible ways to earn here? Join a bounty campaign, and share your skill if you have. Now the question to you OP is that, what will be your path? Will you be like those newbies out there? Or you will be like one of the many here who are sharing their opinion, and knowledge with regards to a particular topic? Anyways, it's your decision, and welcome as well.

Now, the real question is, what sort of guidance are you looking for from fellow forum members? You've already made your way here, and you're obviously able to read and write, so what's holding you back? Why not continue exploring and learning about what interests you? This forum is specifically on bitcoin discussions, learning about other cryptocurrencies is an added advantage, earning from other cryptocurrencies as well is at your own risk and this platform is not responsible for that, so if i were you, i will first compose myself together and begin to learn about bitcoin as a beginner.

OP, didn't you say that you were told by your friends about this forum, and you can ask your friends about everything. come to your friends and find out everything so that you too don't get lost or break the forum rules. Hey guys am a newbie here, and I was ways to make or earn funds via online, and then an old friend told me about Bitcoin forum.

And I've also come to know that this forum can give me the best possible knowledge that I need about cryptocurrency, whilst learning about the different currencies in crypto I can as well earn from it.

What are possible ways to earn from the platform and whats involved  not forgetting how I can make progress in my journey in the crypto world .
