I would rather stay away rather than investing now. The market can take any direction anytime and my hope is that we might see another bull run before the end of the year considering how the market used to perform in the past. But what happens that will not happen and the risk i am taking while investing right now is huge. I will stay way from investing in any project right now and wait for the major correction to invest back rather than jumping in right now. maybe investing now is a good chance if you really trusted in this coin , but if you are only investing because of easy money? then you'll be losing that chances .

The capital you are planning to invest is very small so i am suggesting you to do day trading because by this investment you can make fee dollars on daily basis. Don’t go for coins that are popular in market, search coins which are trading at low price with high fluctuation. Invest 50 50 dollars in each coin and do day trading once your investment become 500$ then start buying coins like xrp, ada, doge etc.

Considering the same solana was at $3 at some point this year, I have really come to terms with the fact that I might buy now and the price might keep dropping maybe below sub $100 price levels. Rather than get into solana now, I went balls deep on NEAR seeing that it's still a young project like solana with great prospects and it hasn't really reached peak prices yet (in my opinion ;.).

When it comes to growing a small investment portfolio, I have found that the best is not to hodl but buy and sell the asset of your choice to take advantage of the small gains these coins make on a daily basis. Now the hard work lines in finding coins with the liquidity and volatility to take advantage of these movies...but for now try the meme coins which are mostly making rounds in the news and you can also go for major coins like bitcoin and Ethereum, just exercise patience and your que will present itself.

OP, should do his own research first before accepting any financial advices to what they think is the best for them. One should understand the project that they are going to invest because we are talking about money here. Since OP was asking about a project to invest with his minimal amount, I think the best one is ro go straight to Bitcoin since there's no guarantee that investing in a new project would go smooth in the long run. Some of them are too slow in development of their project because sometimes they were lacking of funds or investors that's why the project may got delayed or postponed for a while and that's the risk someone should know when talking about investment.
I am going to be honest with you. This amount is very small. If you are planning to invest, I would advice you to focus on trying to increase this value by focusing in your education or other job or services in the internet to get a higher wage.
That being said, I believe bitcoin is the best investment in the crytocurrency space. Long term, any cryptocurrency portfolio should have at least 50% btc imo.
Looking for other projects, you can try to get more big gains, but it is very difficult in a bear market. In a bull market you can make money basically anywhere. Although in a bear market, that we are maybe starting one now, btc out perform most altcoins.
Don't buy huge amount of shit coins with 100$ rather invest this money in BTC or top alt coins at CMC. You will at-least get your original money back along with handy experience and this is not possible with shitcoins.

Actually, WE as community need your opinion about the project that you have invest in.You had to ask for other's opinion before investing, not after. I may not call it as a phenomena or bad way to chose where to invest, as it becomes common in the crypto market that new comers are leaded by hype and behave like it's a safe investment while investing in bitcoin itself may not considered as a safe investment due to several reasons like the huge volatility of the price. Please DYOR before investing your money and never forget to only invest with the money you can afford to lose, it's a very risky investment though.
I hope you do well with that investment and don't care too much about profit from it, just think of it as idle investments.

You should probably check out projects being built on NEAR Ecosystem like REF Finance, Octopus or Skyward. Their ecosystem is still young and all projects are like 3 months old or also and total TVL has crossed over $60M. So it'd be a good idea to try them out considering we are still early and degiIs just starting. You can start with Ref Finance - DeFi Hub on NEAR with AMM, farms and LP activities or Octopus since they'd be going live pretty soon on NEAR Mainnet.
