I was not affected so much there because the majority of my holding are altcoins. Try to diversify your portfolio in future and just hold your coins, the price will rise again soon.
Diversifying your portfolio is good in case a certain coin dump you still have other coins to gain profit. Aside from investing in altcoins, the best is bitcoin as this has the big chance to bring your portfolio into big profit. Once your coin are in loss all we have to do is wait for the pump again.

I got some btc in November 2017 when it was in the $7k range. Then got some more in December when it was in the $12k range. So I made profits from the 11/2017 buys but loss profits on the 12/2017 buys.

Until now I still have not lost anything, but I had panicked because almost every second the price in the market continues to decline there has been no improvement to date. But I believe bitcoin will return to normal even will continue to increase and will be very profitable later.

22 December 2017 was really a bad day for all right?
But seems all was okay for old players with big holdings didn't matter much at all, well I have heard people saying that it didn't effect them much. But what about new players? I was one of the new investor months back and im still recovering lol... well anyone here wanna share your grief? anyone here in big loss?

Was one of the fortunate ones that is still at a big profit because of how early I joined.

Sure there was a massive dip in the market in Dec, but I wasnt affected all that much since I had diversified right before the dip.

BTC is a game of patience and courage. It fluctuates ups and down several times.People who have courage and patience and can hold their investment for a long time definitely can earn huge reward from their investments in BTC.High risk and reward go side by side.BTC is not good for shortcut investor because it needs some time to go higher and higher. In a nutshell i can say that its not good for short term because it required some time to go higher and higher and can be helpful and more rewarding for those who hold it for long time and wait for pump up time..

It was okey with me because I don't invest much in bitcoin.  what I mean is I have small amount of bitcoin but I bought that through the earnings I got from free airdrops and bounty campaigns. and we all knoe that bitcoin will rise again as there are many speculations that it will go back to its peak price again..so if you will hodl it , you can earn from.in the future.

Most of the people are now worrying who bought bitcoins at December 2017.Because now the price of bitcoin is just half from the ATM of bitcoin which just happened few weeks before. But they are not lost anything until they are holding their bitcoins.
Yes,surely bitcoin will recover and reach new all time high soon or later at this year,so hold your bitcoins until it hit your desired or goal amount.

well, I bought when the price was $17,000, I thought with so much good news we would be in the $25000 or even $30,000... but this fall caught me by surprise, I'm not looking at the losses because if I hold for long term, something like two years. then I will recover and still make a profit. investing in the crypto is need to be very calm and patience. I will give you an example, last year in January many altcoins fell a lot. lisk is in the 17000 satoshi and see the price that lisk has today, then is as I said, in the world of crypto is need to have patience

But seems all was okay for old players with big holdings didn't matter much at all,

if you hold for 5 years, then you will also be part of this "old player group"

But what about new players?

they should only hold until the price rises again and this can happen in the next months

anyone here in big loss?

I bought when the price was $17000

Yes, indeed, that December 22 was a very sad event for all owners of bitcoins. Of course it was insulting that in fact I lost a small amount, but at the same time, I did not invest any assets in the crypto currency, so December 22 did not affect me much. I hope that bitcoin can reach its former heights.

Not in big loss at the moment but that was me in the middle of last year, if you have patience and had proper selection with your coins you should be okay. Also your allocation is important too, give too much and you will be stuck. Give the right amount and you have no worries.

I can say that in a way I was affected, but not in another. I think it will have a pretty strong growth and the tokens will recover quite soon.
