Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
To whoever it may help: I had the exactly same issue as the op.

Created a wallet with blockchain.com, didnt save the backup words and didnt save my Wallet ID.

I opened a support ticket with them, providing the date the wallet was created and my password.

2 days later they replied with my wallet ID.

I was very afraid to provide my password, but they say they can look up for an wallet ID only if you provide the estimate date it was crested and the password.

I was afraid someone from their support team could just acess my wallet and retrive my 2 Btcs, but they were 100% honest! Provided my wallet ID, and my 2 bitcoins were still there when I logged in. Smiley

Hope it can be useful!
That's great to hear, now the most recommended way to save your funds is change your password right away that you're the only one knows, copy your backup (24 seed) and save it offline. You should use other wallets such as blockstream green wallet and Electrum they have both desktop and mobile wallets then using blockchain.com coz its too buggy and too many issues regarding their wallet.

Did you get your funds?

I know someone who works there, but you have to know amount of BTC and public key

OP has been offline for more than 1 month. I don’t think he’ll see this post.

But try PM’ing him, if he used his real email for his acc, he’ll get one saying that he has a new message.

This is impossible to recover without any backup. I have the same issue before and I tried to contact them to recover my account without the email but no response from their support instead they just redirect me to support link where you find the step by step to recover a wallet and how to backup the wallet.

I am sure you won't recover this wallet unless if you can provide an email address because they will use this if where they can send all of your credential.

Too bad then. Lots of money lost. Shouldn't have used this service in the first place(I was using it when I only learned about bitcoin. I was using only host-based secure wallets for last few years and properly doing backups).

I think I will wait for few weeks for answer, hoping and praying.

Their support seriously suck though. Reminds me of the worst places and people to interact, such as government/educational/healthcare entities(in country where I live at least).

I'm honestly not sure whether the info that you have will be sufficient.

While they do claim that they do wallet identifier lookups, I haven't personally seen anyone do this successfully. Their support is also not the best in terms of speed, so you most likely do have to continue waiting. Even if you have all the information regarding the wallet, they can easily still deny you access by citing suspicion towards you.

This is why it's extremely important to always back up your seeds. I know it sounds cliche, but hopefully you've learned your lesson here.

Always confirm the legitimacy of the handle you're dealing with before sending any personal info. Also, I really doubt that anyone has a better chance of reaching support than yourself, unless they work internally at blockchain.com (in which case, they wouldn't even be on the forum most likely). Also, by sending your info to a third party you're exposing yourself to the risk that they may do the same thing, and claim to be you - adding to the confusion and lowering your chances of recovery.

I think they only work on workdays, and have holiday at weekend. I've seen similar case on other platforms and tickets are answered on working days. The only thing you can do is to be patient at this point, that sucks but there's no other option.
Yes, maybe they are on their day offs @ weekend. I've been contacting them before and they are responsive through email support. If you already contacted them through that form of 'submit request'. You should be fine, just wait for their response later.

That's the form that I'm sending them whenever I encounter some problems on their website.

So... no answer from Blockchain staff on your support ticket yet?

Have you tried contacting them through their twitter support handle?

Try contacting them through their Twitter support handle: https://twitter.com/AskBlockchain

You can confirm it’s legit and not an impersonator by checking their official Twitter bio. They mention the handle there: https://twitter.com/blockchain

And if nothing works, you can maybe try contacting them through other methods (not ideal, but if the amount is worth the time..):

Contact Email
[email protected]

Phone Number

Taken from: https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/blockchain-info#section-overview

You can always just send them a DM saying "yo, take a look at my ticket n# 13418491" or similar.

No answer at all on any platform so far. I've created ticket, contacted them on mail you've found(thank you) and wrote to them in twitter. Their twitter account was last answering users at 7 March, maybe they have weekends? I don't know.

It hurts to be in this stupid situation. Why o why I forgot to put wallet id in Username field, it's so not like me. I usually double check everything.

Well I hope that at least they will help me when they finally answer.

I can prove it via knowledge about when it was created(15 min frame), when it was accessed last time, when it was abandoned, what IP address was used, and then the password. If required I can probably find associated address on blockchain. I think that should be enough.
I guess that's enough, they might say that you're the actual owner of the wallet base on the details you have and base on their record. But still I doubt they can help you to fully access your wallet's fund again since they stated that they can't access anyone's wallet and even they didn't know their user's password (not sure though since they only said that way), though they have some ways to recover your wallet but only using the email to seed, and unfortunately you don't have it...

Well, I just need them too look up wallet id(same as login basically) based on information I provide them, that's all! I have everything else required to access the funds. They surely can do this(and I hope they will), and even their authomatical support answer suggests that.

If you have misplaced or lost your wallet identifier, please submit the email address associated with your wallet to the following link in order to receive a reminder, https://login.blockchain.com/#/reminder

Bear in mind that if the email address was misspelled during wallet creation, or if you do not have access to the email address associated with the wallet, then this method will not help resolve your issue. However, our support team may still be able to locate the wallet ID for you. In order to locate a wallet identifier we require both the email address and the IP address used to create the wallet.

(cut non related out)

If none of the above methods have helped you locate the correct wallet identifier, then, as a last resort, our support staff may be able to track down a wallet identifier if provided with both the password and the date this wallet was created. Please limit potential creation dates to a one week window. We are unable to search for a wallet based on bitcoin addresses used or transactions made within the wallet.

There sure wasn't that many wallets(probably only one) created in 15 min frame 4 years ago, with no mail, specific IP and afterwards access time.

Yeah, I've created this thread hoping they still help their users here, as it was earlier. Sadly looks like it's no longer happening, so currently I'm waiting for support reply.
Blockchain representative/support/admin used to answer their user's here but they stop responding since 2014 on their ann thread.

So far only the blockchain's staff support can help you out there since I can't see no method can recover that type of wallet in the internet, though I wonder how can you proved to them that the wallet/account is yours, without the wallet id or email something, only just password.

Wait. Are we sure we're talking about an HD wallet here? 'cause I created mine just a few months after they switched to it, and was asked for an email address when I registered. When was your wallet created? You sure there's 12 words in your seed? not more than that?

And I've been reading threads here (in web wallets) for two years now, I don't think their staffs are still here as I haven't seen anyone who got a reply from them. So be careful with users who claims to be a staff, but honestly speaking, I would mark everyone who does as impersonator.

Not sure what HD wallet is. Wallet I'm trying find wallet id for was created few years ago, email was not necessary. Used 12 words seed as I remember.

Also as a small update: I've found timestamp for password entry, so I can assume the wallet was created in 15 minutes after this timestamp. This should narrow the search very closely. I've send exact information to their support.

Yeah, I'm careful. Not giving away any information, besides ticket number.

Too bad their staff is not around. Any help will be appreciated.

No email was used to register(it was allowed at the time).

I also had one a few years ago and they didn’t ask for an email.

Hello,

so I have very old wallet, that was created few years ago. I have all the data, date of creation, password, knowledge about how it was created, used, accessed, when and whatever else you might imagine. The thing I don't have is wallet id.

(How did it happen? I've saved password into password manager, but forgot to put in wallet id. I did not back up 12 words(my bad).)

The only thing you should have backed up is the seed..

This wallet id you can maybe find in your email when you created the wallet. Or maybe it's saved in your old computer browser(autofill)?

No email was used to register(it was allowed at the time). No autofill, nor stored somewhere else etc sadly, I've tried everything. Only hope is that their support replies.

>> The only thing you should have backed up is the seed..

Yeah, I know, well I was reckless at the time. Obviously in the future situation like this will never happen to me.
Mistakes do really happen but its just like a basic thing that you should save up important credentials about your accounts or wallet addresses.Make yourself having the habit
on saving up always the private keys because emergencies is really inevitable. If you forgot those phrases then you would say goodbye to your wallet.
