Hello,

so I have very old wallet, that was created few years ago. I have all the data, date of creation, password, knowledge about how it was created, used, accessed, when and whatever else you might imagine. The thing I don't have is wallet id.

(How did it happen? I've saved password into password manager, but forgot to put in wallet id. I did not back up 12 words(my bad).)

The only thing you should have backed up is the seed..

This wallet id you can maybe find in your email when you created the wallet. Or maybe it's saved in your old computer browser(autofill)?

Try contacting them through their Twitter support handle: https://twitter.com/AskBlockchain

You can confirm it’s legit and not an impersonator by checking their official Twitter bio. They mention the handle there: https://twitter.com/blockchain

And if nothing works, you can maybe try contacting them through other methods (not ideal, but if the amount is worth the time..):

I don’t think there is anything you can do. There is no way to recover the wallet ID without an email or backup file, and only the password isn’t enough. Also, their support (most likely) can’t help you as well (it’s still worth a try tho).

When did you create the wallet? Since it’s very old, I don’t think you may have a chance of getting the wallet id from a past visit by checking your browser history, right?

Edit: ok, so there is a chance. Looks like they do wallet look ups from their support. I guess you already contacted them? If not, do it here: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000020183

Yeah, man, I've contacted them via this exact form. They should be able to help me, because I have enough data about wallet to look it up. The problem is they don't respond to ticket for some time.

I've wrote to this forum because I've noticed that they help people who post here with same problem as me(google bitcointalk.org lost wallet id). Even owner of blockchain.info personally helped people here, and he also states that yeah, they can look up lost wallet id by alot of parameters, such as date of creation, IP, even password. But that was some time ago, now their accounts are inactive for some time.

I've sent them exact date and even time when it was created, I can give them 12 hour timeframe when it was created and I can even give them password if nothing else works. I just need them to assign someone to my ticket.

So when I was going through old entries I realised that I have this old wallet with no way to access it.

More info is available via ticket I've created.

For the person who helps me get through to their support I will pay 0.05 in btc for help, regardless of outcome of my problem. Please PM me if you can somehow help me, I'll send you ticket id on their system(support.blockchain.com). I'll pay you after first response from their support, so pls no scam.

edit: Forgot to mention, that wallet was created without using email(yeah, that was allowed back in a day), so I can't just restore wallet id to mail
