Has this been resolved yet?, know a guy in a similar position, and if is how did you resolve it?

No not yet! Spoke to Support and they have no idea how to fix this. Have you managed to solve your issue?

Has this been resolved yet?

There are a few possibilities what happened. But either OP did a few mistakes he didn't remember afterwards or he simply just trolled.

, know a guy in a similar position, and if is how did you resolve it?

If you (or someone you know) have a similar problem, create a new thread and include ALL relevant information (e.g. what exactly happened, what you did prior to it happening, OS, firmware version, etc.. ).
Chances are high that (if he still has the correct mnemonic word seed) funds can be recovered.

So to summarise the issue:

- Trezor got "wiped" during firmware upgrade, restored from seed, can only see transactions (wallets? Huh) up to October 2017.

The only reasons that I can think of for what the OP is experiencing is:

1. They somehow managed to use address(es) out past the default "Gap Limit" in Trezor. So, when restoring the wallet, the Trezor is not able to detect that these address have funds and therefore does not display them. (NOTE: This is more common with Ledger Nano S when people use the "sign message" functionality to manually select an address)

FIX: Connect the Trezor to Electrum (using "Hardware Device" option), and then manually generate 100 "receive" addresses and 100 "change" addresses and see if the funds show up.

2. The OP had multiple "accounts" created in their Trezor and for some reason Trezor hasn't restored them all.

FIX: You'll need to try adding new "accounts" to the Trezor wallet to see if that starts showing up your funds. If not, maybe use Electrum and restore wallets (using BIP39 option + your recovery seed) and manually select the derivation path for the extra accounts:
- m/44'/0'/1'
- m/44'/0'/2'
...
- m/44'/0'/n'

3. The OP actually had transactions on a different coin like BCH or BTG etc and hasn't restored those within the Trezor.

FIX: Check other "coins" within the Trezor wallet to see if they show the transactions you're looking for.

I think you should try to mail them or contact them through their support system. Problems like these can happen due to server failure or technical malfunction.

The seeds work but only open an old wallet from October last year. All balances show on block chain. I just cant access the BTC wallets I had before the firmware update.

Please answer this question:

Did you check your addresses (those which should have a balance; inside your trezor) on a blockexplorer ?

The OP as answered already

I can find my funds on the blockchain and also can view previous transactions with my correct seed. I just cant view old my wallets with my funds via trezor after the firmware update

No, this is not really an answer to my question.
My question was not wether his funds do appear on a block explorer, but whether he CAN SEE the address containing balance ON HIS TREZOR.

This is also the reason why i have added this statement for clarification (which you have cut off in your quote):

Check whether the addresses which have a balance appear in your trezor.

And there still was no answer to this question.

So i am assuming OP is just trolling here and didn't lose any funds. Because his descriptions doesn't makes any sense to me (regarding the logic of his statements).

both my tremors are fine I use mac and chrome.

the op  if real and not a troll

did something really silly   if he is telling the truth.

here is how I update my trezor wallets.

I empty the black one into the white one.

I have 2 trezor's one white one black.

I leave  like 0.00001 BTC in the black one
and 0.00001 LTC in the black one
and 0.00001 BTG in the black one.

I check my seeds.  and I do  the update for the mostly empty black one.

I then fire up the black one and see if my tiny bit of coins survived.   they did  and have done so for every update I ever did on my trezor wallets.

Once I know the black is on new firmware I add back 1 BTG
I check the black wallet to see if there is 1.00001 BTG
I then add back 1 LTC  I check to see if there is now 1.00001 LTC
I then add back .00100 BTC  I check to see if there is now 0.00101 BTC

I wait a  day  I then empty the white wallet  into the black one

repeat all of the above wait a day if all is good  restore the white to the former coin level and make sure the black is at the former coin level.

I also have  2 core 16 .2 wallets

I also have a coinbase wallet

I have some exchange coins and I am very careful about never having all coins in one spot.

To the op if you really screwed up or if trezor.io screwed up I hope it gets fixed.

MAC users probably are not facing this problem. You should try it with MAC operating system. Best of luck.

OP, is your trezor wallet up to date because that's the only thing I know which could cause such scenario through firmware updating. If you have I will advice to wait for the Trezor people reply or contact them via their social media for fast respond.

It can be technical fault from Trevor's side. Since your seed is being accepted and you can see your previous transactions I think you should try to reach them by mailing you problems.

You bet. if I manage to retrieve my coins its bye bye Trezor! Support is non existant and you expect these wallets to be safe and not make your coins vanish!

This might be a technical glitch or something. it is hoped that the technical team will fix this problem. Regardless these sort of problems cause panic among people as this will damage the coin holder a lot.

"Not understanding your point of questions for which it cannot be answered, as you will not get a straight answer. For now I will suggest you go for trezor support center to discuss your situations. Hope you find solutions.

Yes all funds appear on blockexplorer so no funds have been "lost"

You mentioned sync? is there a manual thing I can to do to sync?

Its very strange as all funds are on blockchain but cant access anything on terzor

What do you define as a 'wallet' ?
If you can access your trezor and view your transaction history inside your trezor, you are accessing your (old) wallet.

If your funds should be on the same account as your old transactions are, it doesn't make sense. It may be a network/sync issue.
Did you check your addresses (those which should have a balance; inside your trezor) on a blockexplorer ? If they have a balance AND are seed as your addresses inside your trezor, it definitely is a network/sync/display issue.

I have all seeds and did dry runs before update. The seeds work but only open an old wallet from October last year. All balances show on block chain. I just cant access the BTC wallets I had before the firmware update.  It looks like a bad link or something..
