This is more like a one way road. Once it is gone, it is gone for good. Learn from your mistakes and try to be more careful from next time to avoid such mishaps.

If you send any coin to an address that doesn't represent this particular address you coins may be lost. You should be extremely careful and caucious when doing transfers.

I have transfered Bitcoin Diamonds to exchange by Electrum Bitcoin Diamond wallet, but transaction somehow  afects my real Bitcoin account . So I lost all my BTC.
Exchange said that BCD didn't arrived

Could anybody help me with some ideas?

You must prove that you have made a transaction, each transaction has proof. so you can provide proof of the exchange. I have never experienced anything like you

The digital currency was stolen, I have not seen it for the first time.
I feel that the biggest responsibility is myself.
Why not use an official wallet? Safety is very important

exchange has returned my bitcoins
so, I am pretty happy
need couple of beers

I have to admit I was surprised with the speed with which your exchange is resolve this issue, this usually takes weeks or months - and some exchanges do not want to deal with such things. What's even stranger that you use fake wallet for BCD and that wallet did not steal your BTC, but only send coins to BTC address instead to BCD.

Anyway at the end it is good that you save your coins, but always use only official wallets and before claim of any fork coin move your BTC to new wallet.

Your coins are most likely gone,, but there is a  chance the exchange will return the coins to you.  I've heard of many people sending bch to btc addresses to exchanges and not receiving a refund.  You have to be extremely careful when sending large crypto transactions.  Always double check what your doing and make sure the address is correct.
Yes, not just being patient but also being careful when you invest on bitcoin, not just bitcoin but all kind of investments. Because if you lost your bitcoin and also hacked by someone, you will not retrieve it. Be careful on who and where you going to put your investments, because if someone have knowledge about it, they might steal it to you, and you cant complain with it.

send some message to the exchange support, maybe your transaction was pending and will be confirmed later.
Or you can check on the blockchain if your transaction success or not

this exactly strategy I used to use
it helped

Perhaps you should wait for the transaction to be confirmed, and you bitcoins might show up on your crypto exchange account or Electrum wallet.

How is this going to be visible where he has sent to a wrong address , I thought it will be lost?
Or are we expecting something like extraordinary to happen or maybe he just didn't know what he did, you are saying. Perhaps, that he should be optimistic. Meanwhile, I wish him luck to get something done for him.

You were trying to transfer BCD,but you transfered all your bitcoins by mistake? How can this be possible.

Yes this is possible if you are not careful because the word is bitcoin as the beginning. Such mistakes can be made with coins beginning with bitcoin. This is why we need to be careful when in the bid to transfer because ones transferred, is gone. This I think was the mistake OP made.

Recheck your transaction history. Match addresses. If there is any type error, you will not be able to get them back.

You can contact their support team, each wallet has their own support team and I think that they can (hopefully) regain your BTCD back, I just hope you'll be able to get it back, and next time be sure to read more, and be cautious, there are a lot of thieves out here in the web, be cautious and make sure that what you are doing is correct, because some decisions cannot be undone. Goodluck!

I've never used Electrum wallets,is it so complicated just to transfer bitcoin diamond, instead of btc?

It seems like no one can give you ideas. What happens to you right now is the carelessness of yourself because you are not aware of your data. Maybe some people have good advice to tell you not to do this again. But not by returning all your BTC.

I might not have a good idea to be able to help restore your lost balance. But I have some suggestions for you to try.

1. Have you checked the address of the exchange correctly? Make sure every number and letter must be the same and cannot change 1 digit.

2. If you have checked the address and it is correct or the same. You should ask this problem to the Wallet Provider. All you need to know are some phishing sites that try to trap us all. Therefore we must be careful next.

Did you read any safety tutorials first before importing your private keys/seed to any compatible wallet of bitcoindiamond?

Its always recommended that you have to move your bitcoin funds to get any fork coins on your wallet (if there is) before importing it to any fork wallets for the safety of your funds, if you imported your keys/seed to any fake wallet with still funds on it then so be it, your BTCD with your BTC is lost forever. And besides compatible wallets are listed on their site which is the most recommended one.
