DDoS attacks....

It seems that there is someone is REALLY pissed at lotto and is aiming at the pools to keep the diff down. As you can count the number of pool available on 1 hand, we are easy targets! We are all coming under fire...

Just remember though, nut2pools has MULTIPLE stratum servers. If you set a secondary AND tertiary stratum in your configs even if we loose 2 servers, you will still be mining happily on our pool!

If you do notice an attack and disconnects - please open a ticket on our help desk and i can jump on it and do some juggling.

I'm going to deploy an extra couple servers for the pools in the next day or so.... I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for mining with us!

Is there a reason my hashrate does not show correctly on your dashboard? It says I'm getting about 1.5 when I should be getting 2.1 or so.

the pool only estimates your hashrate based on your submitted shares over a given timeframe.
what your cgminer says is the correct values.

why they differ to that extent can be of many reasons.

do it jump higher/lower than average its just cause you get to submit different amount of shares within the timewindow.

if its constant lower. check your delay to server (ping), check your ratio of accepted/rejected/stale and finally check if you have hw errors.

Well looks like a fuckton of sellers and no buyers, gg lotto before you even got off the ground lol

It was the same with DOGE when it was only on CoinedUp and not Cryptsy.

This is what I was gonna post. CoinedUp has extremely low volumes of trading. It's not a definite reference to current market prices.
I will repeat again and again. Those who buy @0.35BTC are very lucky to do so.
Price will rocket once on Cryptsy. I don't get why sellers can't understand that.
There is no 'risk'/uncertainty/doubt component involved here. Why even sell now?
If you look at previous markets, it's always the same thing that happens over and over again.

Well i've basically been selling at 60 satoshi and buying back at 40 and below... its crazy really.. i started with 40K lot trading... and am now working with about 150k LOT as im pretty much just cycling my BTC back into buying LOTS.. 2 more cycles of that and i will be a LOT milllionaire

Yep - 0 blocks in the last 20 hours now.   Running 1.2 Mh/s for me…. Together the pool is only 3.x Mh/s

When we strike - with 800 Mh/s you stand to get a big chunk of the coins from the round - but will be further between blocks…. and with the difficulty heading up - it may be much longer to block of we don't get more miners….    it would be longer solo of course.

Options really are - jump in with a larger pool - reestablished - get less coins - but GET them constant - because the combined pool of people finding blocks there is work to be done that is credited with reward  = or =

jump into a smaller pool and build the pool UP - and while people are coming into the pool with a GPU miner get a larger share of the coins as it blocks.  less blocks with a larger share when it happens… for CPU miner this may not make sense… why  not get a trickle of coins constant?  Well normally there isn't a reason at all…. but if say someone is giving a 500 block finders fee?   or giving away 20% of their own GPU coins?  Maybe for a CPU this makes MORE sense than a GPU?

finally - solo mine…  however, I would guess if 3.x Mh/s cannot find a block with 20+ miners avg… then solo mining would only be better if its LUCKY?

I think all solo mining and smaller pools right now would be getting less a chance to survive here.   The larger pools are imbalanced combined… and if there are TONS of solo miners piling in - everyone is just fighting for the blocks now.

All logs on the server say its chugging away and trying.

Pick your best option though of course.   I am sticking in the pool…. and keeping the same award system for now at least.

http://lotto.coinpool.co

My pool has a 500 coin reward for whomever finds any block (this comes OUT of the pool coins [my coins that I mined personally] (GPU or CPU)

My pool has 0 FEE for mining there through Jan 1, 2014.

There is a simple [.1 coin] fee for any payout transactions ( for transparency thetotal net earnings for pool in 7 days = 42 coins for transaction fees - which makes ME think I will just turn this off ;>)

I am also paying already 20% to any CPU miner that finds a block that doesn't receive at least 20% of my round earnings….  Sorry GPU miners… you only get the 500 coin reward that is autopayed.

Example:  You find block of 1,000,000 with CPU…. You earn 10,000 mining with CPU, I earn 300,000 mining with GPU… I will pay you 20% of 300k I earned - the 10k you earned yourself - 500 block reward… This equals 45,000 additional coins you would not receive otherwise…  That is of course in the case I mine all 1 Mil… then its much more (but that won't happen).

This type of thing CAN be programmed automatically as well….  but I haven't had the chance to hack it together yet…. so anyone finding the block needs to use the contact form at the site.   You can review the block history to see if we hit the lotto!

Pool operators might want to consider giving a bounty to whoever in their pool scores the Superblocks.. such as 150k-200k for the 1M block and 50k-100k for the rest.

That way it becomes more interesting for the miners.

Is it possible to allot 20% of superblock winnings towards the one who found it?

diff is rocketed the last 15 mins or so, think they big miners are jumping onboard and soloing

Yes, it sucks...
The good old times (yesterday) when the diff was at 1.xxxx are over Sad
Still waiting to get one Jackblock...

Is there interest for a lottocoin blockchain website? I'm thinking about making one.

theres one already on the coinbomb site, but its not great and very basic.

Nos was thinking of making one, if you look a few pages back. I am not sure if he is still thinking of doing it. you should PM him, but as of yet there is a need for a good block browser yes
