LTC and DOGE is the old coin I've ever bought after Bitcoin, and a good thing is that the old coin still survives until now, of course, many say that Doge exploded due to the influence of Elon Musk, but after Elon Musk was not active in Cryptocurrencies. Now, and in my opinion, the main key to the success of the coin is a loyal community.

These coins aren't comparable because they have different purposes. Doge was originally made as a meme coin but it went too far and became a famous meme coin that now has a huge community while LTC remained potential for years. Most altcoins usually go along with Bitcoin and that is unquestionable because Bitcoin is always dominating the market. Doge and LTC could possibly reach a good price when the market recovers.

LTC and DOGE are altcoins, of course we know what that means, yes Bitcoin is the parent of altcoins,
so if you ask the relationship between these two coins and bitcoin of course they are related, because altcoins will follow Bitcoin,
try to see when the price of Bitcoin Pump then altcoins go with the pump, and if the price of Bitcoin dumps, the altcoins also dump.

While these are different projects that were based on bitcoin, they both have a very different path of development and communities.

But they all also depend on the success of bitcoin. If btc goes down, everything goes down.

I don't think many coins would survive if bitcoin would be destroyed. All businesses would go bankrupt and what's left is a crypto wreckyard.

Sorry if my question makes no sense, I am still trying to learn more about crypto in general. Which coin is more closer to BTC in all form? LTC or Doge coin? Also is any of these project have something in common with BTC?

They are both came from BTC but Dogecoin is not directly but still they have same source code so they have similarity at some point of there code. They just varies on the supply and later on to some upgrades on there blockchain.

Litecoin is the closest to Bitcoin because it was directly fork to Bitcoin they just alter some upgrades to make there blockchain more faster since they have less transaction.

I've also known that there was a connection between litecoin and Bitcoin and between dogecoin and Bitcoin. Going through the thread, I've been able to gain a better insight and understanding of the extent of relationships that exists among these cryptocurrencies.

A while back, once the Litecoin was considered to be the lighter version of Bitcoin because everything in the blockchain remain similar but in a low level compared to bitcoin but at some point the Litecoin lose its price catchup along with bitcoin so people are now preferring other coins to be on their portfolio more than Litecoin.

Where as Doge it is completely created with no actual reason but surprisingly it is survived and evolved one of the coin with high market cap value.

Dogecoin is the first coin whose creators initially indicated that it was created as a joke. And with the introduction of such a concept as a meme coin, Dogecoin began to be called its ancestor, which later turned into the mass creation of such coins on the cryptocurrency market.

To be honest it's very hard to say that caused by bitcoin was bitcoin. The only problem is if you are loosing for something very close to the bitcoin in term of specification. Im thinking about litecoin and here's the things.

The similarity with bitcoin was coming caused by litecoin has these things

POW

Limited supply like bitcoin

litecoin has been forking from bitcoin code. In my opinion if bitcoin is still different with litecoin and doge coin. The only specification that makes bitcoin different compared with doge and litecoin. These coins have their own specification that being created by their developers

It's Litecoin, it's been considered as Bitcoin's baby brother.

And if there is a big chance in Bitcoin like the Segwit or even halving itself. Litecoin is the first one to test it out and see how it is feasible and if there is no problem.

And then they are going to roll in out with Bitcoin later. Doge nah? it's just a meme coin.

Bitcoin is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies. No other coin compares to Bitcoin.Bitcoin can run on its own power and all markets go up and down depending on Bitcoin. Here Lite Coin and Doge Coin have nothing to do with Bitcoin. But if there is a good future like bitcoin here, then I will say lite coin.Because LTC is a very good coin and popular. Its future is similar to that of Bitcoin.LTC are way ahead of doge coins. Doge Coin has nothing in common with LTC either. However, you can invest in Bitcoin for the long term. Bitcoin is the best for long term investment.

While you may have been expecting a serious response to this questions, I am sorry to say that your question itself makes no sense. What does "closer to BTC in all form?" even mean? Are we talking about supply? Technology? Use cases? This is a very strange question and there is no such thing as a "right" or "wrong" answer. Well, with that said, Litecoin and Dogecoin are both cryptocurrencies. Litecoin emerged in 2011 as a fork of Bitcoin, whereas the Dogecoin was launched in 2013 and is based on the Shiba Inu dog meme. Both coins were created to build upon Bitcoin's foundations, so they're definitely similar.

Let's have it that LTC was called as the silver bitcoin. While Dogecoin isn't even compared or called near to bitcoin.

By that means, if that's the comparison that you wanna hear then it's LTC that's more closer to bitcoin.

Although in general, if it's about realizing and analyzing them, they're totally different from bitcoin.

In all forms is a such a big topic, what specifically do you mean or seek by that?

One similarity between those coins is that they are a fork of Bitcoin. So you can say Bitcoin is their ancestors, in a sense of the codebase. A little bit deeper their mining algorithm is differ, Bitcoin uses SHA-256 and the two coins use Scrypt. If you compare communities, surely bitcoin has the leads, and people perceive Doge as a meme coin a Litecoin as a more smaller form of Bitcoin, in sense of BTC as gold and LTC as silver.

Looking at the backbone of their networks, there is no one that beats bitcoin decentralization, how much the hash power, the community grit to protect what essentials, and how many nodes that is operated. From the underlying technological aspect, I believe LTC and Bitcoin are continuously improved, one major difference is that LTC has more privacy-preserving technology of MimbleWimble, while Bitcoin does not. Many more could be compared, so if you meant something, you might want specifically address it.

Of course LTC and DOGE are different from Bitcoin. But there are some things that have in common, between Litcoin and Dogecoin can be mined, just as Bitcoin can also be mined. However, Dogecoin does not have a limited supply, maybe in this case Litecoin is the same as Bitcoin which has a limited supply. The PoW protocols of Dogecoin, Litecoin, and Bitcoin are of course different, even though they are both PoW.

all three are the same POW be it bitcoin, litecoin and dogecoin, for the similarity litecoin and dogecoin have something in common, namely using the Scrypt algorithm while Bitcoin Sha256, back again bitcoin will remain bitcoin but the closest and oldest to bitcoin is litecoin compared to dogecoin, correction if I'm wrong

I am not sure how they are saying they are close to bitcoin. Simple put forth, bitcoin is mother of all and everything else is just Altcoins. Why would we compare apples and oranges guys. Obviously for every other coin the principle of working is similar, using blockchain while some work with PoS and other work with PoW they have nothing much in common with bitcoin. We have been comparing various coins and before this ETH dominated all the child coins out there. Nothing similar except they formed as an alternate to bitcoin, that’s what they are called as Altcoins.

what is SOMETHING to do with BTC?
LTC and Doge is different from BTC but both are created as simple as BTC, codes are just edited i guess to make the difference but they are all can be mined. that's the common properties for all 3. they were to be used for gambling which Doge was the first i have tried using to bet on dice games.

Obviously Litecoin is more closer to Bitcoin in all form than Dogecoin. Because Litecoin is much popular and have a huge market cap. Dogecoin is also a very popular cryptocurrency but not much like Litecoin.

I think Dogecoin, because the Dogecoin community is also very large, even as big as Bitcoin,
and Bitcoin also doesn't have the same founder characteristics as Dogecoin,
so I choose Doge if Bitcoin will die in the future, but talk about my next Bitcoin I don't think it's possible,
because dead Bitcoin is just bullshit.
