We can see that ETH is in much higher value due to where it's at in it's timeline. Many ERC20 Tokens, and ICOs are off the ETH mainnet where LTC doesn't. Although LTC has incredible speeds sometimes when up against ETH, the difference between the two is like night and day.

Both ltc and eth are good, so if i were you just pick them both.
But you should invest more in eth because i think, it is much better. Rightnow ltc and eth are down so you better invest now, dont waste time because your profit is on its way to you. Good luck.

Currently watching Litecoin, and it seems very lackluster in growth compared to ETH. Litepay launch fail didn't help here much, and seems to be giving people a second guess on backing it. Unless there's other reasons that I'm unaware about, that's causing LTC to lag behind the others.

Litecoin is very expensive right now. I think Ethereum will be more profitable than Litecoin in the long term. I think Ethereum and Ripple will be very valuable in 2018.

Ltc and Eth are both good in long term, so better to have this two coins on your wallet so you can have other profit. Make your own study about this, and know their functions so you can decide where to put your money and hold on it in a for years you will see huge changes.

Which should I invest in, that potentially has more growth? I know this really isn't able to be given a direct answers, but what's everyones opinion and why are they different?

To me it seems more people are interested in ETH, over LTC which seems to be the case. More investors equals more interest, and a better growth.

The current issue with Litepay has kind of turned me off of LTC, but if things work out that seems like it could be a good spike in growth as well.

vote for NEO, XML, LTC

It's a pretty tough option. the price of ethereum is low at the moment and that's why I prefer it. But at the same time we hear great speculation about litecoin and it seems that the price is going to be very high Smiley

Litecoin (LTC) should have a significant boost when Litepay is launched, over the long term, as more people chose to spend their LTC driving up the demand and utility of the token.
Ethereum (ETH) saw its value explode in 2017 due to its utility for buying into ICOs as most new ICOs held their token sales on the ETH platform. Utility creates much more long-term value than a tweet from a founder a coin is being added to a new exchange.

Like you said any one who give you direct answer have little knowledge on how the two work. To me both are very good and if you have good risky funds you should invest on both of them now that that there are at the bearish stage. To really make it in this market it is not good for one to put all his hope in just one coin but on all of them.

I prefer ETH. As seen from Market Cap so far ETH is better. In addition ETH has a clear concept and large volume. the most important is that almost every Marketplace accepts ETH. Choose bitcoin if you just want to hold it. I think the risk altcoin is still too high

Ethereum and litecoin are two of the most promising cryptocurrecnies and both prices have experienced significant growth recently. In this two coins, I still prefer ethereum because of its big growth potential in the future and its price has grown in value quicker than litecoin. Ethereum draw much interests from wider crypocurrency community than litecoin because of smart contracts feature. It is also one of the most traded cryprocurrencies in the world with more than a million transactions taking place in some days.

I think LTC have the biggest potential to growth in 2018. It will run LN and will become more attractive.
On the other side, ETH  is facing more and more competitors like NEO and DragonChain.

Litepay failed to launch not because of problem of technology or development. It is only about card issuers that are against crypto.
What the heck has happened with litepay.us?  If the card issuers against the cryptocurrency and you try to move to another card issuers. How a lot of people are feeling disappointed caused by this case.
It looks like tenx project still working on a better project rather than litepay. So many people are hyping litepay as a new gateway to buy litecoin. And that has become another fail? Sounds not good for me. Just the matter of time until their are moving towards another card issuer.

Ethereum and Litecoin has gained the best investor network with its potential growth. In the recent day, when the price of bitcoin reached ath ethereum and Litecoin bumped suddenly. This marked Litecoin stay above $200 and Eth to be above $900 and now this has decreased a little. Investing on both seems to be the best.

This is a hard one to decide on. I myself have a larger position in eth however litecoin has allot of good news coming out this year and the competition eth have on the horizon in ADA EOS NEO I think litecoin might actually experience better gains lets say by 2019

I pick ethereum as number choices because ethereum potentially goes up their price in year, have many supporters of ethereum 2018 is the chance of ethereum to increase their price into the marketplace, hoping in the half of this year price of ethereum goes into the moon.

I think LTC will out perform ETH this year.  Mostly due to lightpay going into effect.  After the end of this year I'm switching back to ETH as it will start to out perform LTC.

Even with the failed launch of Litepay cards?
