LTC but I also would go for ETH. it is still easy to mine. With 6 AMD GPUs you can make 3 ETH/month. price is stable around $2xx
ethreum will be no longer mineable anymore because they will change to the pos

LTC may have some future, it was the first real altcoin and so has a first mover advantage despite only offering faster confirmation times over bitcoin. XRP is not a real cryptocurrency and is centralized and despite common belief banks don't actually use it, its only purpose seems to be for making ripple rich, hence it will fall hard.

I prefer litecoin because it is a real crypto currency, compare to ripple which is just a bubble coin not only premine but a centralized coin,my hearts goes to litecoin even though there are a lot of money to be made in Ripple because of banks adoption.

Which would you prefer? Centralized (XRP) or Decentralized one (LTC) knowing that xrp might have gain attraction or attention upto now because of its growth or gain percentage but i do really believe that was just a blind pump which is the same on others said here about xrp, im not against it but i do really centralized stuffs.
litecoin is still the best. It is undervalued and I believe that it will be awesome in the future when more people pay attention to its existence
Yeah its true its being undervalued but still included on the top of marketcap which means it does really have the potential in the future.I do really look up that there are bagholders which are hoarding their LTC for sure because they do believe on its potential. Buying now LTC while its cheap is ideal its just my own view. There are lots of potential alts on the market just be careful on selecting one.

xrp is not even a crypto... why trust a coin which isnt even mineable... ltc all the way

This. Pretty much most of the big alts (ltc ether, monero, doge, dash) are better than Ripple. No-one uses ripple, it's been around now for three years where they claim they are going to do this and that, and nothing has come of it.

On my opinion i would choose XRP, LTC always pops and falls, i don`t think that this coin will pop up more than 40$, because its just waves. XRP has much more chances to grow up to 1$, but still it would be difficult to reach more with such circulating supply.

I would put my money on 50/50 both.

XRP is tied to many businesses so it has real life practical day to day usage thus better adoption rate.  Litecoin not so much.  I don't mind some centralization if the intent is good, I've seen some bad behavior pump and dump teams on bitcoin talk and big money large mining farms taking up all the coins, leaves a little left for the little guy., so having the coins locked away to prevent this type of bad behavior is a brilliant idea.

I believe ripple has 7 validating nodes at different locations to prevent centralization from attacks.  Ripple is very new and still only .2-.25 cents used to be .4 cents.  I can see this coin by end of year being worth a dolllar or more.

Litecoin is good also now they got segwit.  Miners also going all in on litecoin so difficulty will get harder with time

If I were to choose which of them, I'd rather go for LTC rather than XRP. LTC is centralized and is a cryptocurrency while XRP is decentralized and I'm not even sure if it is a cryptocurrency.

well, personally LTC... XRP is a bit out of the news right now, they dont have updates as of the moment. But if you have BTC, it is better to hold it for a while or, diversify on some small coins that has good project, it will be worth it than LTC and XRP. For me, both of the coins will never increase its value further, they are only good for day trading.
Yes, I also do it like that, I hold my BTC while waiting for the right time to buy one of these coins is LTC or XRP, But unfortunately, they have not updated until now.

I'm a firm believer in a diverse portfolio. The basics apply. Do your homework, don't invest what you cannot afford to lose. Don't buy and sell based on your emotions.

XRP may be centralized, but so is the USD and we all use that too. Stocks, Bonds, ETF, Metals, centralized and decentralized crypto are part of a complete portfolio.

Pump and dump is real, but to me it's all part of the game. If you see a coin, and you like their purpose, read up on it. Research the developers and the founding members. Does the coin make sense to you? If you don't understand it, maybe look at something else. In the end, they are all only worth what people are willing to pay for them.

Plus, it can never hurt to have a few thousand coin (if you can get them cheap enough) in case they blow up in the next few years.

Lot of ppl have LTC stocked up in here waiting for the pump, so many say LTC will go high.
It will but i don't think it'll be a huge one. Even after segwit its not going up that well.
Ripple has better activity but its too high at the moment.
If i were u, i'll try some other coin

Which coin has more potential, what do you think?

I have a little of both of them and ripple seems to have done better lately. I think both of them could be profitable in the future.
