When it comes to trading lots of newbies in the crypto world has never sad their foods in the real stock trading world, so they do not know they are being played around.
I have been in the stock world for some years and the first many years algo trading was beating me, but only until I understod that buying and selling should not be done as daytrading… I only lost money that way. As soon as I started to hold my stocks even at dips I started to earn and became better than the algo trading.
Richie is right that algo trading is common in the stock world so for sure also in the crypto…

The behavoir of the bot dosent look like its run by an exchange I would rather think heavy interest in LitecoinDark by investor or worst scenerio another coin..
But now it seems like buying power is taking over the bot and it has to rise its goal for purchase hight.
If I was another coin… sure I would fear LTCD.

Yes, exactly. That bot wants to dump the price he would sell, but it is only holding the big amount of coins and traders drop the price by them self. Bot actually doesn't do anything. Just say buuuua the kids, and fear is there Cheesy

The way to look at this is there is great demand for ltcd and that is great news for the devs and community . Bots are used purely to make the greedy ones coins so they don't have to buy miners or purchase coins. To me bots are used to steal from people basically . From the devs from the community and investors. People need to stand firm in the price they want and don't sell cheap.

There should not be such bots like yours in the first place.

The whole idea behind cryptocurrencies has been to avoid imitating traditional financial system of fiat monetary exchange and financial manipulations.

Bots at Wall Street - just, because something has been used at Wall Street and is taken for granted without questioning, doesn't make it right.
The whole idea of bots at Wall Street was designed to manipulate the prices and increase corporate and banking profits without any social and environmental concern. Their psychopathic trade on derivates has build up debt amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars.

Where the heck did you get that Bittrex runs their own bots? Maybe they do, maybe they don't. But head over to the marketplace and search for C.A.T. It's a bot anyone can buy and run to do just what we're seeing. I can guarantee you that there is more than one bot running on a lot of the markets out there designed to accomplish different things. Blaming bittrex (or any exchange for that matter) for what other people are doing is just ridiculous.

Whether it's bots or some guy coming along and manually putting in large buy or sell walls, market manipulation is simply the way it is and that will never change given money is involved.

Yes. For the record, we do not, nor will we ever run our own bots without disclosure. We don't even trade on our own exchange (with the exception of testing and usually at a loss) knowing it would be unethical given the information we have available.

But it is an interesting topic of discussion because LTCD seems to be heavily botted; while i do agree its because of greed/whatever and it is also a sign of a maturing ecosystem which is what I think we all want at the end of the day. Not everything can be as pure and idealistic as we want unfortunately.

LTCD enables features to be built out side the core. the digishield was immplimented like this. i believe this makes LTCD unique
