What we want to stop is bots placing min order sizes to hide the order books... Please do not confuse the two. The first is an artifact of trading. Bots will always be doing it to gain financial advantage. The second is there to just disrupt the orderbooks without actually filling.

That is the only problem I have with bots, the way they are used to bury the legit orders/support. If you can rid that issue, I'll bring my business back to trex in a second. (not that the btc I have in the game is at all significant, but it adds up)

Does anyone know when we will get past 36999 block? I have this weird error in my wallet and it wont sync. 
Did you downgrade back to the 1.1 wallet? You will need to and delete/resync the blockchain (or start the wallet with the -reindex command)

Modify the interface to allow people to be able to view the entire order book and get rid of the max limit on the API. Problem solved. Seriously, there's no way to stop bots. Any limits you might implement in order to try and stop bots from doing things will also impact real people so they get screwed over again.
Yeah.. we're looking at approaches to do that and doing order book aggregation... hoping we have something out in the next couple weeks to make it more UI trader friendly while letting the bots party in the background.

yeah it sad when on bittrex a sell price is placed a lot lower then the going rate lol to drive the price down its so obvious lol Helllo bittrex can you not see this lol and they say they want to help stop bots lmao right .
For the record, we never said we want to stop bots... bots are a natural progression of how trading works. A high percentage of trades on wallstreet happen in this manner:
"It is estimated that as of 2009, HFT accounted for 60-73% of all US equity trading volume, with that number falling to approximately 50% in 2012."

So if we upgraded yesterday and sync'd yesterday but haven't touched it at all today, do we just have to go back to using the old version and not have to redownload the entire blockchain again?
Remove the new blockchain and redownload the chain with the old wallet.
1. Go to your C:/users/username/app data/roaming profile/litecoindark/
2. Backup your wallet.dat to a save folder
3. Delete the folder blocks and chainstate at C:/users/username/app data/roaming profile/litecoindark/
4. Install the old wallet and wait till it is synced
