I don't know why people find it hard to believe that organized crime might have taken an interest in this coin.
Look at wallet LZWdVYZynD2DEXcYzrTRtBPuvv3nJGm82a on the rich list. Whoever owns this has got $10,000 tax free US dollars for free.
This money wasn't worked for, wasn't earned, wasn't stolen, no-one was killed, sold into prostitution and no bribes were required. It just magically appeared from nowhere.
How could the mafia be so stupid as to
NOT to be involved?
That $10,000 could easily have been a $1,000,000 if things had worked out. It sill might but when you look at the general trends of other cryptos that ship might have sailed.
If there are angry gypsies involved they might have just accelerated the usual process by a few days.
In a place like Romania or Russia, rent and electricity is free for the mafia. Computer equipment, ASICs, etc. just "fall off the truck" on the way from the dock.
Making a coin is easy on the programming side; just copy and paste and make lots of promises. I couldn't do it, but these skills are easy to find in Romania:
http://www.wired.com/2011/01/ff_hackerville_romania/all/http://www.worldcrunch.com/tech-science/in-romania-a-quiet-city-has-become-the-global-hub-for-hackers-and-online-crooks/hacking-hacker-romania-pirate-scam-internet-website/c4s10532/If you guys pissed off a group like this it would be easy for them to crash LCTD and make a new coin complete with LTCD's still promised features.
All it would take is simplistic coding and putting up an ANN on BTC with a nice logo and a good English speaker to answer questions, be chirpy and fend off FUD.
They wouldn't actually loose money but instead just make more magic money another way.
Some of the FUD got so bad that I ended up putting some on ignore. Got so tired of that fud.
I believe in this coin and am holding my coins. If anything, all the FUD has done is make me hold my coins even more than before it started.
Looking forward to what the DEVS bring out next for the coin.
Agreed. The page took a turn for the weird when there was talk of gypsy gangsters taking offence on twitter and making a revenge pact to destroy the coin.. I mean, wut..
Rule #1 of FUD. If there seems to be a lot of FUD. People are trying to make money off you.
"gypsy gangsters taking offence on twitter and making a revenge pact to destroy the coin"
Anonymous romanian gypsy gangters, using a social media broadcasting platform on the world wide web, are trying to manipulate the exchange rate of a virtual cryptographic currency in a virtual market, because they were offended by other anonymous users' comments about the avatar image they chose for their crypto currency propaganda channel on that social network.
We are living in a Neal Stephenson novel.
lmao +1 careful they might sell the millions and millions of coins they have and crash the price . Oh and the avatar they choose has a 120 something followers Wow that's a lot of people out of 6 billion world wide.
