Looks like we made the transition smoothly, and Difficulty Shield's modular design played a big part in this one.  A stub difficulty engine was built and made effective at block 59999 which essentially makes "all blocks" zero difficulty.  At block 60000, control of network difficulty was once again passed to the KGW-based module which has a maximum upward adjustment which allowed us to ease back into a proper block schedule.

Essentially, what we've just done was modularly swap difficulty algorithms on the fly using shield's OO architecture not once, but twice within just a few blocks.

This is what all the delay was for.

Best of luck to you all.  I already have several changes planned for the next update.

Great work... With your ingenuity in coding I can't wait to see what you come up with... We are very lucky to have such a skilled programmer on the team!!

Cheers,

Ghosty

Nice Breaking News ltcd is multipool resistant  Grin Now we know what they have been doing Great work Devs

A big multipool contact the team to tell us what to do with LitecoinDark, kind of controlling the coin. Unfortunately for them it didn't work out so well...  Grin

It's probably the multipools dumping all that coin so low!!

I have one thing to say to them... Bye bye!!!

lol

How to get BTC fast:

If you ever wondered how to get BTC fast to buy LTCD, then use this guide. I do it my self and bought for € 280,- in the last days.
Its quite foolproof if you follow the guide. You only need either a Paypal adress or a creditcard.
When the first 3 transactions has been approved you are allowed to buy for more Fiat than the start up limit of 60,-€ pr transaction. Try it out  Wink
http://www.bitcoinscreditcard.com/

Check out Circle, its faster than Coinbase in getting from fiat to Bitcoin. No waiting period you can buy coins with you credit card. Up until now I was getting my BTC from Coinbase. You can get it by hooking you bank account with ACH just like Coinbase, and also you can use a credit card. I even heard you can use a gift card as well. Check out, it a lot better than Coinbase. I've used it twice and can highly recommend Circle it. Here it the link:

Circle looks good but I'll be holding off using it until they bring support for Canadian Bank Accounts... Until then I will continue to use Quadriga... For you Canadians here is a link... I have used this site to purchase bitcoins straight up with an electronic funds transfer and I will use it again!!

why hold the price down? Maybe in hopes someone else will sell lower for them to accumulate more?

Bingo you got it, they do it the maximize their profit, when they remove the wall  the price goes up and they sell.

well now that ltcd will trickle out hold and price will climb no doubt just don't fall for the low balling people trying to get it cheap. Hope people didn't sell at the low price you were just played if you did  Sad

We can say that the hard fork was successfully and we lost the multipools. Finally the team can focus on other things what is important for LitecoinDark!  Cool
