I am very disappointed in Nicksasa at the moment.  I came to his defense last week, and so far his actions have made me look like an ass for doing so.

Further, I am owed over 900 LTC on Notroll.in.  I am posting this here for reference:

Your Balance: 910.94891074 LTC
Total Earned: 6845.58884377 LTC
24h Earnings: 1193.96582209 LTC

My entire operation moved to wemineltc.com today, and I plan on staying there indefinitely.

It really pisses me off that large miners like myself have been nothing but pack mules for the last 10 days, finding blocks that enabled lesser balances to cash-out.  It would be great if Nicksasa would come in here and give us some indication of how balances as high as mine will be paid.

Since you probably got more taken from you then about anyone else here who has posted so far, maybe you'd take the initiative to post something in the Scam thread about this.  I really feel like others should be warned and maybe it would help if the pool operator had the tag.

Where is the scam thread?

I'm also out a lot of ltc:

Your Balance: 791.18962909 LTC
Total Earned: 3290.93354371 LTC
24h Earnings: 0 LTC

I keep getting the Transaction failed(incorrect address?) error on withdraw on notroll.in

I moved back to litecoinpool a couple days ago, pooler's the man.

I am with you Exahash.....let me know what I can do to help get some movement on this.

Yoch - I hope you will be the one to take point on the scam thread - you are quite likely the one who lost the most.

Also, PPNLS really blows especially for LTC.  LTC difficulty changes every 3-3.5 days.  With PPNLS, you are subjected to variance and if you run into some bad variance, then your earnings are GREATLY reduced when compared to a PPS (pay per share) pool.   The PPNLS advocates report that OVER time, it will even out or be slightly better.  In my time mining with PPNLS, I earned considerably less then I did with PPS.

Therefore, you could have 3-5 days of bad luck with a PPNLS pool and see the difficulty change twice on you and have severely reduced earnings.

I will still mine at notroll and just withdraw daily.  There is a reason a PPS pool is the largest.

PPNLS is subject to variance, yes - but it can go either way. You can also make more than your expectation if the pool happens to have a "lucky" day.

If the pool is large enough (and there are a couple that are), then variance is pretty much not a factor.

I switched from notroll.in to a PPNLS pool (give-me-ltc) about 10 days ago and I have made at least 50% MORE than I did at notroll.in every single day. Some days I was nearly +100%. I come very close to my expectation (via calculator based on hashrate, after pool cut) every day - some days I'm slightly over, some days I'm slightly under. If I average the 10 days, I'm nearly exactly where I should be, expectation-wise.

The variance criticism of PPNLS is really only valid for small pools. Large ones are going to be finding blocks quickly enough that luck swings are going to smooth out over pretty short timeframes.

I spent 3-4 days with give-me-ltc.com PPNLS pool and EVERY day I made less then I would have with PPS pool.

I say let people try it and see what they find out. It is interesting that this PPS is still quite popular Smiley

I just thought I would point out.

notroll.in pays 0.00007174516548155500 per 32 shares.
ltcmine.ru pays 0.00000230 per 1 share.

32 shares on ltcmine would pay 0.0000736.

notroll pays 2.5% less that ltcmine. Given that ltcmine is a 2.5% pool, notroll is taking ~5%, as advertised.

To my understanding, the PPS rate on a pool is also related to the difficulty that pool mines at, so while 1 pool might pay less or more, the difficulty difference taken into consideration, you will be submitting significantly more or less shares as well.

I really like give me ltc but I always ended up 20% less than my projected everyday after a week of constant mining with them.  On ltcmine.ru I have been getting 100% or more of my projected so I'm staying here for now.

I thought that nicksasa was sick , the last time that he wrote he said that he is sick and he will fix problems when he feels better, otherwise i still see that he didn't change the fee , it is still at 1%.

and it seems that not all users having the problem of cashing out their LTC , the pool hash rate right now @ 2051.13 Mh/s ao why miners keep mining there if it is a scam ?

The problem is people with large balances owed to them, like me.

Nicksasa owes me 910 LTC, and has made NO effort thusfar to resolve the problem.

If you have a small or zero balance, it seems like there is no problem cashing out when a block is found.  For us larger miners, the hot wallet is insufficient to pay us, so we are screwed.

It may not be scamming everyone, but it is scammy all the same.

Regular server isnt responding half the bloody time and eu.notroll.in doesnt connect at all....

Time to reconfig for coinotron methinks....

I wouldn't go for coinotron if you want stability. They get DDoSed to shit every day.

Ok. Used it for a tiny little bit of PPC mining.

Another day, another pool it is Tongue

Hmmm. Seems that only my second worker is not being updated. Shares still accepted. Can I use my default worker on multiple (2-3) PCs at the same time?

Notroll.in did not register last night. Shares were accepted though...

That is funny, because my shares registered and I cashed out earlier.  Also just did another small cashout and worked on first try no problems.

The pool still has 2000Mh/s.

Is this accurate? I'd be very interested to see something more indepth on this thought process. Because PPLNS pools are based on longer term time investments (i.e. Bitcoin mining), does the 2-3 day retargets really give you lower rewards? If we could see some data on this, that would be awesome. I would switch right back to PPS if that's the case!
