sprinkles just told me to 'lookup now' but there was nothing to see:

The first time she said to 'look up', there was a click-the-picture game, but the 2nd time there wasn't.

There's a new type of contest:

The objective of this game is to click the correct picture as close to zero as you can. Get the lowest time of everyone in the chat and sprinkles will give you a prize.

New bugs:

1) when I win a quiz my balance doesn't update until I lose a hand (I think) or refresh the game.  It used to refresh as soon as I won.

2) I had a funny hand.  I held one card, clicked 'deal', the other 4 turned face down and then nothing happened.  I can still select which cards to hold - here I've selected a couple of the face-down cards to hold...

Good luck tonight!

I'm still trying to win that jackpot.  Here's the closest I came so far today:

Edit: and again:

Edit: threw away a pair of aces for this:

After the update, I no longer see that issue.  But I see a different one:

I have 32 credits before playing:
I play for 1 credit reducing balance to 31, and get a bunch of crappy cards:
I re-deal them all, getting a win, but my balance stays at 31:
I reload the game, and see my balance is really 32:

More generally:

When I win, my balance updates by one less than it should, and when I play the next hand, my balance isn't updated at all.  My balance is updated when I lose a hand, or if I reload the game.

So if I lose a game then win one (always playing for 5 chips per hand), my displayed balance is 1 less than my true balance.

If I then win the next game, my displayed balance is 3 more than it should be (two single chips from my 2 wins weren't added, and one set of 5 chips weren't deducted).

If I continue winning, my displayed balance is 7, 11, 15, 19, etc. chips too high.  Each win gives me one less chip than it should, but the next game costs 5 chips less than it should, giving a net gain of 4 chips per hand.

Here's a screenshot after I won 6 hands in a row, so my displayed balance is 19 more than my real balance (my real balance can be found in the 'withdraw' dialog at any time, btw):

1) When I win, my balance goes up before the re-drawn cards are revealed.  This seems backwards.  You should show the re-drawn cards and then, if I win, update the balance.  Otherwise it kind of breaks the tension.

Yes, this is definitely on my todo list (#27)

I see that's fixed now, but you're still giving the game away early by posting about big wins in the chat before the cards are revealed...

Someone was complaining that the game uses 100% CPU on firefox, so I ran firefox to see.  It uses about 50% of one CPU core for me, with another 75% of the other core being used by the X server, so it is indeed pretty heavy.  Chromium is similar, using another 50%.

Anyway, it turned out that I was logged on as DrLex67 in firefox, and she was playing already from wherever she is at the moment.  I could see the initial 5 cards each time she hit deal, but I never got to see what cards she was holding, and never got to see the re-dealt cards.

I've seen you write somewhere that the game is meant to work across multiple devices, so I guess this is a bug that needs fixing.

I'll see if I can get some screenshot evidence...

This isn't quite what I was aiming for, but it does indicate a problem:

I won my last hand, and ended up with 33 credits:

I didn't click any 'bet' buttons, just clicked 'deal', but it took 3 chips off me anyway leaving 30 chips

I held the 2 pairs:

and hit a full house, and my balance went to 47 (up 17!) even though the chat said I won 9:

then I reloaded the game and see that I really have 39 chips:

So it really did take 3 off me to play, and paid out 9?
