I agree but the luck base games always depend on sentiment, especially gambling is very sentimental game. Even I saw this kind of activity in a real casino and outside. For example, if you are a cricket lover you will sit one chair and watch the game because of some reason you will get up and sit in another chair if suddenly 1 or 2 wickets gone means what you will think I shifted my place, so 2 wickets are gone. I don't know you will think like this or not, but many people do like this. Same in gambling also this type of sentiment people will trust more.

Not sure if this really works but you could say it does sometimes atleast. Look it's all at the end I would call it superstitious belief and like I would say it's just that one feels comfortable like I have a habit of wearing same clothes, same band taking wishes from similar people when ever I have exams. This I believe is kind of cycle that we all love to believe will work for us and if the woman that is besides them helps them win, they will choose to believe it's her luck that helps them, but do try it before you actually try it. Not all woman are lucky lol.

But most of the time, movies shows it like that, it's like big bosses playing cards and they have their woman beside them or sometimes mistresses. I think having a woman around will only make a man bolder and prone to taking more risks whatever the activity is. It may be subconscious of course (sometimes) but I've read articles saying how men overeat like crazy on dates to impress women and they don't even know they are doing that because of a biological/evolution propensity.

This exact same thing applies here and I would say it would be a much stronger effect. One can only conclude that the consequences would be either total loss or the biggest jackpot of your life!
