This "coin" is a typical example of spider-web, placed with the only reason to collect/steal/suck the fool-man-investor's money.
Evidences?
1. Then new version of the wallet don't show the list of masternodes (all of them - "dev"'s property)
2. The stake reward at the beg was 2.0, after that 1.2, now - 1.0. The reason is to redirect all the rewards to masternodes (which are a  "dev"'s property)
3. No direct contact with the "devs". Only some kind of "lightning rod"-person as in each fraudulent scheme.

I won't invest even one penny in this "project". Warm advice you not to do so.
I'm sorry about all the time and hashing power I spend with this...

And Merry Christmas to all honest people in crypto!

Now get back to WP and read it before writing this nonsense. All of it has been discussed 100's of pages ago.

don't use this button check discord or github https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases for new releases

did you try to reload the blockchain? backup you wallet.dat from%appdata% LUX folder in you windows directory some where else, then delete all for this folder, unpack bootstrap file https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases/download/v3.0.4/bootstrap.zip in this folder and then start you 3.0.4 wallet again and wait for synch

Reloading the blockchain worked. It's synced again. thx.

Is staking automatically started? On the balances window it says 'stake: 0 LUX', but when i mouse over the icon at the bottom i can see i'm staking a certain amount.

Just orientate to icon pop-up window, its showing correct information.

which version on wallet did you have?

v3.0.4.0

when i click the 'check for update' button, i receive the error 'the system cannot find the file specified' and it looks like it tries to start a second lux client, which fails

My Luxcoin wallet is not syncing any longer. I see a message 'syncing with network' and  '22 hours behind'.

The wallet was open all the time with an active internet connection.

When I look into the debug.log file from the lux folder in appdata, i see a lot of errors:

Anyone knows what is going on and how to fix this?

Who bought the majority of coins recently? ))
Yesterday there was a buy order at 10k Lux worth, guess someone aimed at masternode Smiley
Luxcoin looks like a good coin, so it is not suprsising that someone want to buy and collect more Luxcoin for his/her masternode. Generally, it is one of good news for our community.

Thanks for share your concerns.
Can you show some proofs that all masternodes are "dev's property" please?
About reward for POS you can find infromation in Lux White Paper https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMSe9WkXwS6aWdvX3FkbUptbTg/view, there is mentioned that till block 100k reward for POS block was 2 lux, 1.2 lux to founder and 0.8 to MNs, and after block 100k reward became 1 lux, 0.6 lux to founder and 0.4 to MNs.
About direct contact with developers, you always free to join Lux discord channel https://discord.gg/X43CA3f where you can ask any questions to developers in direct.

Anyway nobody forcing you or anybody else to invest into Lux, its up to everybody to decide do it or not, but I ask you to avoid of making any "that's what I think" accusations in future without giving any proofs of your words. Thanks  Wink

And Merry Christmas you 2!
