How Lux does compares to Supernet (UNITY)?
Both have a simlar concept- one which is much needed in the crypto world. I like that Lux is mineable and wll be ASIC resistant.
Anyway, it would be nice to see a comparison chart.

Yea the power improvement is not huge for already optimized cards. Only managed to drop about 10w per card when testing the new algo on 1070s
I'll do further testing once it goes live ofc, rather mine actual lux in the meantime

Can you please let us know what power settings you were trying to use here, because you're results are out of line with MANY others.
Are you way down at 50% or way up at 120%?
We really appreciate being able to collect real world data from anyone that is willing to spare a few GPU cycles, and we want to keep on improving efficiency whenever we can
When i get the time il throw my cards on a couple hours
I assume i can just use a dummy wallet address? Not that it matters when i think about it as it is different chains :p

We decided to make a serious move and start a LUX masternode! This is an expensive masternode and a serious investment.At the moment, the devsare finishingthe optimal MN rewarding system.
We will do the gathering in twosteps.
**Step 1. PoS**
Every Wednesday we will transfer gathered coins to a separate wallet for PoS. While gathering continue, your share will be increasing because of PoS. Of course, you can also increase your share by additional transfers.If you want to leave, it will take us up to three days to find a replacement. Minimal seat is 10 coins;
**Step 2. MN**

only 6-9% reduction? most of us show 20%-30% lower power consumption.

Hello,
I ran a 1 hour test on the new algo, I saw a 6-9% reduction in power and a 5% reduction in temperature. I ran it on 2 1080ti's . The new algo jumps around a lot but but did not crash the cards...I am sure I could have pushed it harder but wanted to get a quick comparison between the old and new algo.

Wow! I have been looking at fpga as the claimed hash on LUX was impressive. I skipped it for now because of too much uncertainty, but resistance against that, ASIC and reduced power consumption really sounds amazing!
