Projected pessimistic targets back on track. Let's see if Bear momentum of last week will return or not. Bulls not easily frightened these days. Yen 1250 on Huobi is major Support zone. If we break that, it is the $136 target we are projecting. Good luck trading!

Why $136?

It's where the major fib fan ray drawn from Gold Parity levels runs at the moment. -If- we manage to go down further, before a parabolic gap-filling up to $250-ish (like on simliar drops before), then I would say $136 is the minimum we will see for now.

The 30-min MACD is in full negative swing, which tells me that Y1300 will not be able to be held and a serious re-test of Y1250 will occur, that level has proven as a pivot point for the last few days, so it will be interesting to watch.

Important point from the other thread:

A year ago the 12.64M BTC mined were worth US$10.55B. Today, the 13.74B BTC mined are worth less than US$3B.

Not all US$7.5B (that's "B", not "M") were pumped out o the system since not all BTC were in the market traded, but significant amount was sold and fiat withdrawn from the system, which would not be possible without disturbing demand/supply balance. Price going down made some people seriously rich. Almost "B" rich.

this is a very important point to remember ... the bitcoin economy has exported a large percentage of its wealth into fiat (and crypto ventures) last year, the question is how much of that will come flowing back into when they realise they will be better treated in bitcoin.

The default ltrained-from-birth behaviour of going into fiat to seek security is an irrational pavlovian response ... few more bankster busts, central bank bombshells in the currency wars and bail-ins will be needed to shock the sheeple out of their bad old fiat ways.

Why $136?

Level before the big bull rise of 2013?

Why do loads of you guys want the price to stay low?
I'll never understand it.

It is fairly simple. The majority of bears on this forum fall into several categories (in no particular order):

1) sold and want to buy back lower and increase stash (reasonable gamble in a bear market)
2) sold lower and now the price has moved up against them (screeching about 50$ coins, it's going to double digits!, praying for price drops)
3) short from above this price (in the money, vocal because the market isn't dropping further as expected)
4) short from below this price (ho ho ho, thought it would go to zero because 'line on a chart')
5) troll (see NLC, or the alts.)
6) permabear (Edward50, Nagle - thought bitcoins were overpriced at 2$, now desperate for bitcoin to fail to validate their enormous life mistake)

Classic. Post of the day, except you forgot one important category:

7) nitwits who haven't even read Satoshi's white paper, aren't bright enough to understand it if they did, and actually think it's some kind of Ponzi or other pyramid scheme, and/or think it will fail.

Why JorgeStolfi comes to my mind when I read 7)?

and I would add:

8)People that might be hurt if Bitcoin goes popular(or paid for such people)

looking at hour charts is a waste of time unless you are day trading it like stocks.

another permabull, "Gambler"   Why are you looking at hours charts,

What number are you looking at the breakout.  You can look at whatever numbers you want, more important is the 205 from Fall 2013.

But it pushed past $206 the short term line because it was way undersold last week at $150, but heavy resistence is now at the $278 line daily ema, which obviously is dropping since Dec at $375.

Its possible to hit 220 to 260 in next 30-45 days but I also expect it to hit the very ema wall at that point and coninue the longer downward trend since Dec 2013 at 850.

Currently is holding steady, until more players trade it tomorrow when US participants are back from vacation.

Pump this bitch.
Give her all you've got.

aaaand it's gone.

Yep, failed breakout. Down it will be tomorrow today.

Its up 60 points from last week

You're not the brightest, are you? I'm talking about the short term at the moment, and what happened about 1 to 2 hours ago (and is still happening) when Bitcoin started flirting with some resistance lines.

Also, the simple fact that it is up 60 points since last week should get you very wary, given what a significant rise in price has meant almost every time in this bear market. Expect a drop on dump-Tuesday.

The triangle is closing: I wonder what will happen tomorrow.

The same thing that has been happening for a year now. Why would tomorrow be any different?

Why wouldn't be differrent tomorrow?
