I have a complete nob question. Is it technicaly posible to create a platform where you could store your fiat and  have some sort of insentive to do so  providing it's burst, scam  and hack prove so you could  at least  store your money there and keep your bank current account just for paying bils?I understand it's  compicated but could one day it become a reality and  if so are Waves  exploring a such possibility?

Top 7 New Tools Coming Soon
1] Fiat accounts: fully-fledged, blockchain based.
2] Inexpensive remittance: most popular corridors.
3] Debit cards. Wallet - linked and in-wallet-issued.
4] Personal finance: convenient handling of bills and invoices.
5] Investments: efficient portfolios and hedging.
6] Escrow-protected business transactions and bets.
7] Crypto assets creation and exchange.

"We support the Mycelium vision of creating a full-scale blockchain-agnostic mobile wallet, and would like to help Mycelium team bring it even further - by providing not only cryptocurrency but also fiat transfers within their wallet service. We believe in a certain convergence of fiat and crypto in the long run, so this should be one of the first steps in this direction. We need to provide some kind of an open-blockchain solution that can be used by existing financial services in order to reduce costs and provide a certain level of decentralization for their users. Blockchain-powered fiat transfers will be used in a variety of applications, including cross-border remittance, traditional online merchant payments, crowdfunding, etc. The sky is the limit here." - Sasha Ivanov
Wow! Waves really has a future here. There will be huge buy orders at launch to pick up cheap Waves from dumpers. I'm one of those people.  Wink

8434 BTC raised so far, already No6 most successful ICO, and 19 more days to go!

https://twitter.com/mPAtBit/status/730791173246361600

8434btc x $450 = $3,795,300

That is a reasonable ICO and I am not too worried about the price falling in the early days of trading b/c I still think the price of waves could go up x10 or more in the medium term. Still, I think a 45 day ICO is too much, and the waves that I bought on the first day of the ICO are being diluted as more speculators pile in.   Roll Eyes

I'd be interested to see where all the BTC invested came from by country?  Any way to check that?

+1 I'd also like to see this.

Will we be able to trade CORE asset in the WAVES plataform?

CORE and CORE Media, yes.

Great I love that! ohhhhhhhhhwhoooooooooooo!! Smiley

What's the benefits of trading core and core media assets in the WAVES platform?

http://coremedia.info/index.php/core-news/item/208-core-coremedia-harnessing-the-benefits-of-technology-for-the-good-of-humanity

When you invest in CORE, you invest in a few assets like Gold, BTC, Silver, ALT coins etc, to put it in a few words.

Imagine you have a pension scheme with your company and your money is in different stocks.  CORE is the same but with crypto currencies and Gold etc....on the other hand, CORE media is a powerful marketing media machine.

why is it interesting to know  from which country it is?
i think its world wide Smiley

You can't see that anywhere, because investments are anonymous and when you pay BTC they can't see your country based on your TxID or whatever else. It's impossible to track regions where people invest.

Without knowing, I would assume that the representation would be proportional to the use of BTC throughout the world. Mainly the USA and EU, along with Russia, China, Japan, Brazil etc.
Coinmap gives a good picture, but this of course says nothing about who has participated in the Waves ICO. Maybe the Waves team could show these stats after the ICO.

Actually, I've spent nearly 31 btc and now got ~ 300k waves, so I'm not sure what are you talking about balls etc. You better to check Russian thread where Sasha35625 is saying that there will be a buying wall.

here is the quote:

Пoдoждитe, a paзвe нe oбeщaли чacть coбpaнныx миллиoнoв пoтpaтить нa мoгyчyю бaй cтeнy? Пo цeнe нe мeньшe пpeдпpoдaжнoй?

Гдe былa тaкaя инфa?
бyдeт cтeнa, дa.

Translation:

-wait a second wasn't there a mighty buying wall? with the price not less than the ico price?
- Where the information was submitted?
- sasha: The wall will be placed, yes

Thanks for the clarification.  I think Sasha has now confirmed this.  31 BTC qualifies you for some serious balls!  Without the extra info I assumed you were just a newbie having second thoughts on investing so please disregard my comments.
