The only reason why they say that their mining farm is for us is so no one goes up there and starts a fire and burns the place down. They've always done a good job keeping customer's hanging on an edge, not really disclosing full details on everything but just enough to keep you in the game and not spend your bitcoin anywhere else. I'm still taken back at their comment weeks ago,"

"So keep some coins handy as we expect them to go quick."

That was a knife in the back with a twist.

In your opinion ... is there no chance to roi 15,77 btc (= my Neptune btc price) ?  Huh Huh Huh

None. Difficulty will be far too high by the time you receive it. You'd be lucky to get 10 btc.

Sad but true.

I think that tomorrow I'm going to aks for a refund ... I'm sad

In my opinion, Knc grossly violated the spirit of their miner protection by building a massive private Jupiter farm. I also had day one Neptune orders that I cancelled once the writing was on the wall that they would most likely not be profitable.

The miner protection statement says the following:
"We will ship no devices in December 2013, January 2014 or  February 2014. Meaning that once we have taken the difficulty up at the end of November we will not release any more hashing power for 3 months. We will then release our new generation of devices, which will begin shipping in March 2014. These devices will also have a much higher GH/$ rating than any of our current offerings.

We would like to state that If any of our competitors continues to add large amounts of hashing power to the network during December, January or February. We will continue to release our devices as competitively priced as we can to protect our customers share of the network."

A few months ago, I thought Knc was the gold standard in Bitcoin mining manufactures, and now I think they are just as dishonest and sleazy as most other mining hardware manufacturers.

Hoarding Jupiters in order to build a massive private mining farm when they could have sold some of them to existing customers per their miner protection statement was the straw that broke the camels back for me...

But this statement let us expect, that Neptunes B1 or the 3THt in the Cloud, has to be delivered in MARCH.

After MARCH they are in DELAY!!! And Plan B is to cover us from Delays!

Maybe this is going to be true!? And the Farm is for us!? (after they mined some weeks for them selve)

all that don't ask for a refund hope this Smiley

This MT.GOX blow up will have ramifications for years in this industry and we'll never see those nice high values anymore for a long time. BTC has been slowly dropping day by day and continues to do so. There's nothing that is going to make it go back up either. So all you bitcoin rich people out there, how's it feel to have huge amounts of less money? I'm waiting for the price to drop to $100. Then maybe I'll buy some more.

They replied to me.....
"Refund will only be processed in USD.
In order to process your refund we would need for you to provide us with the details as listed below. "
you can use the $10,000 to buy bitcoin from bitsimple or some trustworthy place.

and so now they refund you with btc at the current exchange rate ?

That is one way for them to limit the bleeding.

in this case, I'll try to refund Smiley I just send an email for information about refund in btc at the current exchange rate

It will depend on your order size. A single Neptune will be by a bank wire. I saw a response, from Kurt I think, on KnC's forum that said only large orders are refunded by BTC. When I asked about refunding my single Neptune, I was told it would be in USD.

I'm waiting for a knc reply about this question. I have only 1 Neptune ordered.

I do hope that KnC is not affected severely from the MtGox insolvency.
Anyway, we will see a long period that network hashrate will not increase like crazy now.
I don't aks for refund of Neptune. I'm a believer Cheesy
A believer in what?   Perhaps you should figure that out.
The purpose of your Neptune is to "produce" bitcoins for you.   If you can refund that miner and buy more bitcoins (or any close to the amount of bitcoins) that the miner will produce, you have reduced your risk substantially and achieved your end goal faster (getting the bitcoins).
For people that paid 10-12 bitcoins for their order and now can refund and go buy 20 bitcoins, this is a no brainer and a great trade.
3 TH/s in a market that will be 60,000 TH/s by the time you get your miners will take more than 6 months to get your 20 bitcoin.   Likely more than a year depending on network growth.   It is just the smart thing to do right now.   at $400, it is even better.    At $250, it is brilliant.

No, I think it will continue to rise at the rate of 1200 blocks per week for at least the next three months, maybe longer.
