For Arsenal, the biggest problem is with their centre-forward position in their lineup. We all are aware of this fact that they need to sign a good striker immediately. This must be their priority. Eddie Nketiah isn't a that much good striker now I'm afraid. His performance in the previous season was really poor as he wasted so many goal opportunities. Alexandre Lacazette was no different than Nketiah too and he is joining Lyon soon. Lacazette's best memories were with Lyon and maybe he would start playing better there. At this point I think Arsenal will hopefully sign a solid centre-forward.

I think, Arsenal will not miss it this time around because their managements are seriously working to bring more talented new players into the team that will improve the team higher in next season.  I believe Arsenal will definitely get it right in this season to sign in professional strikers that will help the team to achieve victory from all their matches in next season to embrace the title. It will be difficult for any team to defeat Arsenal in next season, if their managements will be able to achieve all those talented players that know how to give early goals from any competition.
it's true, Arsenal really need a striker next season now they are rumored to be with Gabriel Jesus, if that is realized I'm sure Arsenal's front line next season will be very dangerous.
Arsenal's problem has always been that Arsenal management is reluctant to spend big money to recruit players, making it very difficult for them to get quality players.
but regarding the Gabriel Jesus rumors I really hope it will come true for Arsenal to be able to compete closely next season and make the Premier League even more fierce.
It’s not longer a rumor, Gabriel Jesus is keen on a move this summer to gain more first-team opportunities and is exactly the profile of the attacker Mikel Arteta is targeting. Before now has been linked with moves to both Arsenal  and Tottenham this summer with both sides eyeing attacking reinforcements. Since Tottenham have back off from the deal, it now gives Arsenal a huge encouragement to seal a deal. And the likelihood of him going to Arsenal is 100%. As of yesterday Arsenal and Manchester City had verbally agreed a fee for Gabriel Jesus and
it is around the £45m mark. So I’m believing that the medical and announcement will be made before July 1st.

Newcastle have just finished the signing of Nick Pope from Burnley for a fee of €10m. The English goal-keeper have undergone medical tests in the morning, and his signing is now official in the team. He's contract with Newcastle is now valid till 2026 and he looks like he has gather enough experience in his keeping job. I expect Nick to deliver and impressed Newcastle fans and give them a room for them not to doubt his performance for next season.

This is still beyond our expectations when we imagined Newcastle would bring in new more famous players the obvious reason is because the owner of Newcastle is very rich but after reading a few articles now I understand why Newcastle can't spend big because there are still rules that apply. I think Newcastle will build slowly at least for the next 2 seasons.
We have seen some teams changing ownership and turning out to be bigger and top level after investing lots of money in the club, teams like Manchester city , PSG for example. Same situation can be replicated with Newcastle but this growth don't just happen in one year it takes time a couple of seasons because with the cash available to spend. It's not always easy getting the players you want to sign for you immediately, it takes time. Newcastle looks determined to be at top 10 spot in the premier league and I think with their new owners I see that possiblity if they are willing to invest money in the club.

Arsenal are in front of signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City with talks already reaching a point of agreement.  maybe in this week we will see all about the price and salary that will be received.
source : @jacobsBen via a tweet published today.
True, they reportedly have now reached a verbal agreement with City.
If you look at the statement made by Jacob, Arsenal are actually quite clever by using Mane's comparison to Gabriel because at least with this City will indirectly soften a little in terms of price.
It is likely that his price will be around 35 million - 45 million now for this striker.
If Arsenal successfully sign Gabriel Jesus that will be an added advantage thus they now have two reliable center forwards Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus while Martinelli can optionally be deployed as a main striker if need arises, the sign on fee of 35 million - 45 million is quite a reasonable fee considering the age of the player who is just 25 years old and a move to Arsenal will guarantee him a regular playing time though he won't have the opportunity of playing in UCL, however his contribution to the team by scoring goals consistently will help the team to qualify for UCL next season.

Luaku's loan deal to Inter is confirmed. There is no option to buy - just a straight loan that will cost Inter 10 mil. for the season and they will have to pay most of Lukaku's wages as well.
Seems like a really bad deal for Chelsea - he will lose a lot of value considering he'll be 30 when he returns to London. They should have probably sold him now - I believe they could have gotten 50 mil. Euros.

Overall has to be one of the worst PL transfers in recent history.

The latest information, Man United offers €65m for Frenkie De Jong. But I don't see it will get a deal from Barcelona management. We know that Barcelona doesn't want to release him below €75m. If Man United is really serious to sign Frenkie De Jong, they must make a new offer (valued at €75m). Personally, I doubt Man United wants to spend €75m for a single player. They need some players to improve their squad quality. They will get difficulties signing other players if spending too much money on 1 player only.

Frenkie De Jong is a good football player, but 75 million is quite a lot of money. If I remember correctly, Barcelona gave and received 90 million, 3 years have passed and it is very normal for De Jong's price to drop.
I think 65 million might also be a good price for De Jong, he wasn't as bright a football player as we expected. Also, Barcelona can use this money and get better

What you say may be true, but if you look at the price offered by Man United of €65m for Frenkie De Jong, it is not too far from the price set by Barcelona (€75m) for one player, because it is only a difference of €10m only and for the size of the difference, there are also no players that can be obtained by Man United except the old ones and also those released for free by the team.
€75 million is quite a high price for a player like Frenkie De Jong, I think if Barcelona continues to maintain that high price no club will be interested in signing him.
Frenkie De Jong last season did not contribute much to Barcelona's performance even though he played many games but his statistics were not very good, he only scored 4 goals 5 assists from 46 appearances with Barcelona throughout the season.
The players don't really find you so that not many teams are interested in signing him.

I have seen this news on Transfermarkt today. Chelsea and Arsenal both are seriously interested in Raheem Sterling these days. We have already known about Chelsea's interest in him but Arsenal are a surprise to me now. Because Arsenal are interested in another Manchester City player who is Gabriel Jesus too. It doesn't seem very realistic to me that Arsenal would spend very high amount of money for both of these players. I think that Manchester City wouldn't let Gabriel Jesus go for a price below 50-60 million euros. Sterling's current market value is 70 million euros too.

^ In recent times Arsenal has been linked with a lot of players but ultimately they did not get the players. Arsenal really needs some good players in their attacking lineup. I've doubted that Arsenal is going to go for Rahim Sterling. Gabriel Jesus seems to be a better and more affordable target for Arsenal.

I think if Chelsea is really interested in Raheem Sterling then Arsenal is not going to be a big problem for them. And also Gabriel Jesus is going to cost less than Raheem Sterling. So, Arsenal is going to always go towards less costly players right now in my opinion.

They are currently on the chase to replace them with both Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus. Nketiah is a growing talent and I see him in the right position to explore. Gabriel Jesus has it all, All is needed is the pas so he can score Arsenal goals.
Yeah it's been rumored though that arsenal have got a verbal agreement to sign gabriel jesus.

could be a deal of the season behind haaland to city , gabriel jesus would become a vital player there.. im pretty sure about that. he has the ability to become a rising star at his age now for one more time ... no more under someone's shadow and he is ready to prove it all.
Great deal if this happened officially.

Now, Arsenal is the clearest picture of the next destination of Gabriel Jesus. Tottenham is off the picture and I don't even understand why people started saying of Tottenham recently. Arsenal didn't qualify for Champions league but did qualify for Europa League. Is Gabriel better than other players in Europa? He should rest please.

I agree that champions league is a huge factor is determining his next destination but we have to also consider the reason why he is leaving and that reason happens to be for more playing time. With Haaland joining Manchester city it is almost certain that he will be playing from the bench and going to Tottenham also won't solve the issue of playing time cause Harry Kane will be ahead of him in the pecking order, in conclusion Arsenal is the best option now for playing time with Aubameyang and Lacazett already out he is sure of getting game time he wants with Arsenal.
Now it seems that City and Arsenal have reached a decision regarding the transfer of Gabriel and it is very likely that Gabriel will play for Arsenal next season.
Even though it is only a verbal decision and there is still no further confirmation but there are some rumors saying that the transfer of Gabriel will be completed in the next 7-10 days.

Yes, in fact there are no transfer agreements yet, but so many rumours don't just happen, most likely he will move to another club, just a matter of time(although if you remember Mbappe's story). I think Arsenal need to acquire someone else to prepare more thoroughly for the season, one player is not enough, as strange as that may sound

Now their only pure striker is Nketiah and this will clearly give Gabriel more opportunities in attack and his position will not be threatened if he is at Arsenal.
Even though Nketiah is very good at the moment but indeed at an age as you say Gabriel is more complete and better in this regard so it is indeed a pretty good choice if Gabriel joins the Gunners.

It looks like Gabriel Jesus will soon join Arsenal, There are several factors that cause Gabriel Jesus to prefer Arsenal over Tottenham.
Among other things Gabriel Jesus needs more playing time because the World Cup is about to start, so Gabriel Jesus wants to make sure
he has a place in the Brazilian national team. Moreover, Arsenal lack attackers, so it is very likely that Gabriel Jesus will get more playing time
if he joins Arsenal. Moreover, Arteta knows Gabriel Jesus better than Conte, so Arteta knows which position Gabriel Jesus wants to play.
And Gabriel Jesus saw the seriousness of Arsenal, who had been in contact with Man City for a month to get him. Maybe we'll get some
news in the next few days regarding Gabriel Jesus final choice, because the negotiation process for the move of Gabriel Jesus according
to Fabrizio Romano is in the final stages.

I like seeing odds before the season to get an overall overview about how people and bookies are feeling about teams.
Best odds are for City obviously 8/13 then Liverpool 2/1 then Spurs 14/1 then Chelsea 18/1 then ManU 33/1 then Arsenal 40/1 then the others more than 100/1.
What's quite interesting is the big gap between first two and Spurs, the fact that Spurs under Conte picked Chelsea spot and how bad ManU looks.

Gabriel jesus now has a small chance to play if he continues to stay in manchester city,
Just because of Haaland? Maybe true considering Haaland's position and Jesus' position are both centre-forwards. Since Manchester City signed Haaland there have been a lot of rumors about a move for Jesus, several teams are interested in him although so far I haven't seen which team has the most chance of getting his signature. Maybe Arsenal, but maybe also Tottenham but I kind of agree if he is at Arsenal next season even though he will only play in the Europa League for competitions other than the Premier League.
Not "just" because Haaland but I agree that he would have a lesser chance, mainly because he wasn't the main option even when Haaland wasn't there. Think about how many games he played, he played in only 8 games on champions league, and less than 30 in the league. Sure that means he played good enough, that's good, but that's not "we can't do without him" levels of playing, he was in the bench plenty of times as well.

Now on top of all of that, they will get Haaland, who will surely play a lot. So Jesus would be demoted to just "replacement for Haaland when he can't play or tired" and that is not something he should do considering how talented he is and could be a starter striker for another club.
