My guess is early in the season Liverpool and Man City will dominate the league. But it seems liverpool have not been able to put on their best display. Liverpool were not even stable in some games. The defeat to Arsenal also made it even more difficult for them to compete in the top ranks. It even seems that they are worse than Man United.
Another problem right now is the racist accusations made by Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson. I read in the local media if Henderson was called the FA for that investigation. If it is proven then maybe they will lose Henderson for a few games, I believe it is detrimental.

I also think the same last season's fierce competition will be repeated especially after both teams signed new players who were both top scorers in the previous league unfortunately our predictions are wrong Liverpool's performance is far from expectations they were thrown to the 10th rank. But yesterday Liverpool made a surprise in the Champions League hopefully it's a good start to get their performance back.

This can clearly be said to be almost everyone's guess because in the mirror from the previous season, Manchester City and Liverpool were very dominant, so it is not too strange to see many people having the same opinion about this.
But indeed this is only a prediction and the reality is currently only Manchester City are still able to dominate in contrast to Liverpool.
Another interesting thing actually came from Arsenal and Tottenham and maybe for the dark horse team, Leicester would definitely be replaced.

Liverpool problem is critical, before it was all about the exit of Sadio Mané that have been a big pressure on the team to carry and have left  Mohammed Salah stranded and struggling in the team. Let's take for instance, when Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 9 nil, Salah was present in the game and he failed to either score or give assist in the game. Then if it was when Mané was still in Liverpool, that kind of frustration for the Egyptian wouldn't have happened, we would have seen Salah on the scoresheet and probably score either a brave or an hattrick. The reds are not in form and that's the major reason behind their losing and sharing draw points.
I feel like it’s not Salah's problem alone, I feel like it's the whole team playing with absolutely no passion at all. It is understandable because they were at UCL finals last year and lost, all due to Real's Goalkeeper (Courtois) playing one of the all time greatest games ever. This caused them to lose passion, and they feel like even though they play their best, they could still end up losing.

There is a toll on someone’s soul to lose UCL finals and they did it twice against Real now, and they keep losing to City on premier league as well. That "we were just there and still lost" keeps on putting more baggage to them and they finally cracked this year I believe.

Liverpool is no longer Man City's rival this season. The situation is spinning pretty fast from last season.
after losing to Arsenal and now going to meet Man City. this might just be a pretty painful blow for Klopp.
Pep seems to have prepared his squad for this match. because the difference in points with Arsenal is very small. he doesn't want to drop points to fall behind Arsenal.
Klopp with his squad, I believe has to work hard to face this match. Man City is the most productive team this season. will be a tough day for the Liverpool defense.
Liverpool's sudden fall from grace isn't surprising to me because for 2 to 3 seasons they have depended on the same set of players, this players have represented the club at top level and all competitions and I expected to see most of them suffer fatigue from constant play and match fixtures. The match between Liverpool and Manchester city will be a really interesting game to watch, Klopp wouldn't want to get a second loss and Pep Guardiola wouldn't want the gap away from Arsenal to increase so it will be a competitive game to watch.

~snip~My prediction is very clear I prefer Man City to win the match, Man City is on fire right now, very difficult for Liverpool to stop Man City. Moreover,
Erling Haaland, who is increasingly productive in scoring goals, should have scored again against Liverpool. While Darwin Nunez I doubt he will be able
to score goals, because until now I see Nunez still has not adapted at Liverpool.
This season, Man City has a strength that no other team can match. Moreover, Erling Haaland is the most productive player in the English league this season. Man City this season was able to score 33 goals to become the team that conceded the fewest, only 9 goals went into Man City's goal. And then Man City will be challenged by Liverpool and I also prefer Man City to be the champion.
The only thing that can prevent Man City from becoming champions is the Injury Storm, because Man City is able to play very well in every game. But we will see how Liverpool's strategy later. and don't forget that there is still the Gunners Arsenal who are still occupying the main standings and only 1 point adrift of Man City.

Erling Haaland is Man City's best signing, his contribution is very big even though this is only his first season with Man City. The presence of
Erling Haaland makes me believe that Man City will always be able to beat whoever the opponent is, even if there is a match that ends in a draw,
it's still something natural in my opinion, because it's very difficult in the Premier League to get perfect results. I agree it seems difficult to prevent
Man City from winning the Premier League trophy this season, only a matter of time until Man City will eventually shift Arsenal from the top position.
Because I still doubt Arsenal can perform consistently until the end of the season by staying at the top.

Therefore the next test will come when Man City face Liverpool, even though Liverpool have had a bad performance this season, but Man City
must not underestimate Liverpool. However, Liverpool is still a strong team and still has a chance to win the game. Moreover, Liverpool just won
a big victory when facing Rangers in the Champions League, this will motivate Liverpool players to perform well against Man City in the Premier
League. I'm getting impatient waiting for the Liverpool vs Man City match to start soon, we'll see if there will be any surprises.

I personally don't really believe Liverpool will recover quickly enough to get back into the top four, it's a tough job and they need a lot more time to recover. Because not only their attack line decreased but also their defense was very weak. Therefore, it is not enough for Liverpool to only prioritize attack, because if their defensive line is weak then having lots of goals will also be in vain. We can see how Leicester have so far been even bottom of the table, Leicester so far have 15 goals and it can be said Leicester are still prolific in scoring but unfortunately they conceded 24 goals so far which proves their defense is weak. Regarding today's match against Rangers in the Champions League I'm still not sure Liverpool will win easily, because some of the main players are injured which will certainly have an impact on their performance.
Seems difficult for Liverpool recover quickly back to top fourth standing place behind left 14 points from Arsenal but Liverpool have one postponed match against Chelsea. Surprise with Liverpool performance in this season because last several years keep dominance Primer League standing between first and second position with Manchester City, this season have to see Liverpool drop until 10th standing position. Most poor performance all line for Liverpool, not only with attacking but also defense have bad performance in this season. Until 8 games Liverpool have scored 20 goals and conceded 12 goals.

Have played in 8 games and 2 won, 4 draw and 2 loss seems Liverpool not become candidate for winning primer league trophy looking on how many points left from Arsenal as 1st position standing right now.

this time, Salah's condition is very different if you look at performance because indeed if you look at Liverpool's current condition, it is not only Salah who has experienced this but indeed the whole team from every line can be said to have experienced a setback.
Currently, Internal problems are popping up one by one and the Injury problem is still one of the most difficult problems for them to solve until now.
I like the statement you make that is not only Salah that's the only experience player in the Liverpool, because the level I'm seeing the nature of things there, we still have a good player, but making reference of good player in the Liverpool that is making them to win matches Salah is among the top ten, but the aspect of saying that salah is the originator of the success of Liverpool, i will not accept that because of what's is happening.

After watching Liverpool demolished Rangers in the champions League this evening and Mohamed Salah scoring a second half hattrick after coming on from the bench, I thought to myself that this is the turning point for Liverpool, if there's one thing every Liverpool will wish for is to see the old Salah back, who has goal scoring luck, and I am having a feeling that they can upset Manchester city this weekend, and they also have an advantage playing at home, with Salah in form Liverpool can rise back because they built their came around his style.

Manchester city are on fire and it will be a hard task for Klopp this weekend playing against Manchester City now that Liverpool team is not stable. I fear Jürgen Klopp will have to face another humiliating defeat to Manchester City just after losing to Arsenal. Jürgen Klopp will have to pull a miracle to win against Manchester City to help extend the gap between Arsenal and Manchester City to four points.

Rangers might not be the best like they were when were managed by Gerrard but Liverpool also isn't in their form. I would say Rangers might have chance of surprising Liverpool. Also Liverpool are currently having lot of players out with injury so Rangers have a good chance of surprising I would say.
I didn't know Liverpool drew at half-time against Rangers 1-1. Honestly I would be very surprised if Liverpool dropped points again in this match, obviously it wasn't a difficult match but Rangers also have a chance to win.

But even if Liverpool lose, then I don't think they will miss the chance to qualify for the next round considering that Ajax don't have a high chance of chasing Liverpool's points. Liverpool are safe to draw, but I think they will win. Elsewhere, Tottenham seemed safe for 3 points today after ending the first half 3-0. We will see how Klopp can spark his team spirit in the second half, so I think 3-1 is a great ending for Liverpool.

Say no more Liverpool has successfully destroyed Rangers this night in the UEFA Champions League. It was a surprise second half for me when salah was introduced 2 finally finish Rangers and he got a hat-trick in the second half. Could this mean that Liverpool team is finally back to shape?
I cannot say because that was how they beat one English team 9 goals and in the end continued with their inconsistency.

Liverpool front line this season has greatly decreased in goal productivity where Mohamed Salah, Firmino and Nunez have not found their good performances. Liverpool previously lost to Arsenal which made them really thrown out of the title race this season. Nunez found it difficult to find his best form in almost a few games in his first season with Liverpool. kloop is a great coach he will be able to make liverpool back to the top 4 in the next match, Today liverpool will face Rangers in the 4th round of the group stage and I believe liverpool will easily win this match.
Usually last season Mohamed Salah impressed many spectators, but his performance this season has decreased, maybe his condition is not good or maybe it is also affected by getting older so that the performance seems to be decreasing, Hopefully at the end of the season there will be a surprise from the Liverpool team.

Another match I will be eyeing this week is Manchester United - Newcastle.

There is only one point between these teams in the standings. Newcastle also have made a quite good progress recently. They lost only once which was against Liverpool in Anfield. Maybe this might be a sign that they still have some weaknesses against big teams of the league and Manchester United can benefit from those. Manchester United are not much different than Liverpool in terms of defense these days. Both teams to score is blinking me to bet on it.  Grin  1.62 is a nice chance to take advantage of.

I'd really like to increase the odd by betting on Manchester United but I don't trust them that much for this one. Newcastle have the potential to be a serious trouble for them. They are stronger than the previous season now.
Even though Manchester United is clearly the favorite now but it might be a little difficult for them considering that at this time Newcastle's performance is still quite good because their current target is a dark horse as the beginning of their steps in making a new breakthrough in the EPL.
It has started now and it will not be difficult for them in the following seasons with the current owner's money power making a surprise in terms of players.
I might make another bet with both teams scoring goals in this match.

Mohamed Salah has been one of the most impressive player for Liverpool in the past seasons, his goal stats show his contributions have helped put the team in top level but this season has been a difficult one for the entire team not just Mo Salah, we understand how this works when the team is performing poorly this usually affects even the players performance. I think with time things will get better and the team will be back to winning ways.

Liverpool is about to compete in a great match. This season, Manchester City has been dreadful at winning games. No team they face right now is unafraid of how they will be defeated. Since Liverpool's chances of winning the game are extremely slim, I believe they should focus on limiting the number of goals they concede to Manchester City by strengthening their defense because of the likes of players like Haaland. It will be one of the tough match for them this season. If Liverpool really want to compete for the trophy this season they need to step up in this match and secure a win.

In statistics, there is such a technique - to cut off the upper and lower 5-10% of some data under study in order to remove the influence of anomalous fluctuations. If we remove the anomalous game with Bournemouth (9-0) from Liverpool's statistics, then Liverpool's statistics become faded and the goal difference is even negative. Therefore, I would say that Liverpool have problems with the attack too.
Almost forget about the 9-0 that Liverpool scored this season. At some point with all negative results, you just remember how much failure you see and the positive moments fade away.. As you said, if we remove that game, everything becomes worse, a lot!
It is difficult and complex to try to understand what's going on there. Most players dropped in performance? Mane absence impacted a lot the team? Concentration level is very low? A combination of all these in fact.
ManU was in the same situation or worst but at least they recovered from it. Liverpool doesn't seem to recover at all and I doubt Klopp will continue with the team.

20 goals create in 8 matches is an extraordinary achievement for Liverpool's front line, even it is included in the top 4 of the GF premier league after Man City, Arsenal and Tottenham.
So I think Liverpool's main problem is not attack or Mohamed Salah. Because we can see how weak Liverpool's defense is until the 8th week of the Premier League with 12 conceded, very much different from last season which only conceded 26 goals in 38 matches.
