Pakistan ke Higher Education Commission (HEC) ne qoumi level ke universities aur degree colleges mein undergraduate aur MPhil/PhD programs ke policies ki manzoori di hai. Ye policies 2023 mein lagu ki jayengi aur naye admissionon ke liye laagu hongi.

Eid se pehle hue commission meeting mein, policies ko manzoori di gayi aur associate degree (AD) aur Bachelor of Science (BS) programs ke liye khaas tafseelat bhi wazeh ki gayi. Admission process framework aur program structure mein donon undergraduate aur MPhil/PhD level par bhi kuch significant changes kiye gaye.

AD programs jo ke ab universities se affiliated public aur private colleges mein honge ke result CGPA ke base par grades aur division ke bajaye release kiye jayenge.

Additionally, sabhi associate degree aur BS programs ke liye general education mein entrepreneurship shamil hoga. 4 saal ka BS program ab double specialization (double major) ke liye pehli baar 168 ghante tak credit karne ki ijazat deta hai.
MPhil level par passing marks ko 60 percent tak increase kiya gaya hai aur PhD level par, agar university entrance test conduct karti hai to passing marks ko 70 percent tak increase kiya gaya hai.
